Millian curiously asked Cale, taken aback by his sudden tantrum. The maid found this situation very strange, as the baby didn't even cry when facing the emperor who had almost killed him.
This crying baby is Cael de Alger Obelia, the prince of the Obelian Empire and the second child of Emperor Claude. Just a week ago, the Emperor nearly killed this baby due to his extreme madness.
One of his concubines had become pregnant and constantly demanded his attention. That audacious bitch dared to confront the emperor, which ultimately led to her merciless death. The emperor even came close to killing his own illegitimate son.
His extreme madness stemmed from the loss of his late wife. She left behind a daughter who haunted him, and his rage became even more uncontrollable when certain whore demanded his attention.

In her first life, the girl faced execution but lost her memories. Fortunately, she was able to regain some of those memories by reading a book called 'Lovely Princess.' Unfortunately, she met a tragic end in her second life due to an overdose of sleeping pills. However, she was reborn once again in her original world, this time as a lovely princess who was adored by both the emperor and the people of her empire.
The book ultimately concludes with the athanasia's transformation into a lovely empress, finding love and happiness in the end.
Cale is well aware of how deeply Claude loves his daughter. He knows that anyone who dares to harm even a single strand of her hair will meet a swift and unfortunate demise.
Cale, or rather OG Kim Rok Soo, made a vow to himself not to involve himself with the main palace or meet the emperor and other main characters. He honestly didn't care about changing the story, but he refused to do anything that would ruin his dream of living a slacker life.
What he found particularly strange was that in the original story, Athanasia didn't have any siblings. This led him to wonder if the god of death had once again intervened in the course of events.
The good news is that Kim Rok Soo is living his dream. He has nothing to do at all since Millian spoils him excessively, taking care of him in every way possible. They live a peaceful life together, and over time, Millian has grown to adore and love the prince.
One day, Rok Soo's brain became somewhat like Zoro's, he suddenly discovered a hidden treasury within the shabby palace. Millian was overjoyed when she learned about it and was so grateful that she almost kissed his feet and knelt for an entire day, expressing her deep admiration.

Honestly, Cael finds it hard to believe that he is truly the child of the emperor. He sees no resemblance or shared genes between them. It leads him to question if his mother had lied and used him as a means to gain the emperor's attention.

Cael is incredibly content with his current lifestyle, feeling as though he is already in heaven. He takes back what he once said to the god of death, realizing that his life has turned out better than he could have ever imagined.
He continued rolling around in his bed when suddenly his nanny called out his name.
"Your Highness!! It's time for breakfast!!"
Cael lazily got up from his bed and then promptly lay back down. He simply loved his bed too much and couldn't bear to part with it.
"Bring it to my room, Millian"
He gazed at the door with a dreamy expression, a satisfied grin appearing on his face. The love he felt for his nanny is immeasurable. Through her, he experienced a glimpse of what parental love could be like, something he had never experienced in both of his past lives.
In this current life, he is fortunate enough to have a taste of familial love, even if it was only half of what a child should have. The memories of his former butler, Ron, had faded from his mind because of Millian. However, at the mere mention of Ron's name, a sudden chill ran down his spine, reminding him of the fear he once felt. His Lemonade!! Fuck!
"Your Highness, don't you have any plans to go outside?"
Millian asked, concern evident in her voice. She believed that Cael must be bored and longing for some adventure outside the palace.
"No NEED"
Cael replied abruptly, almost choking on his food. He didn't even consider the idea of venturing outside. Why would he want to leave behind his comfortable and slacker life? He is content with what he had. Thank you Very MuCh.
What was the point of going outside anyway? If he encountered any problems, he would only have himself to blame. And if he happened to come across any of the main characters in this world, his slacker life would be over for sure. He had no interest in risking that. No THANKS.
"Your Highness, we need to buy you new suits. Your current clothes are becoming too small for you,"
"Oh... that"
Cael hesitated for a moment, torn between the desire to stay inside and continue rolling on his bed and the need to go outside and purchase new clothes.
"Okay, we'll go outside."
Millian beamed with joy after Cael agreed to go outside, and she eagerly began dressing him up. They set off to buy clothes, which Cael was grateful for because they weren't overly fancy, aligning with his personal taste.
Initially, Millian found it difficult to believe how someone of his young age could be so mature. However, she quickly dismissed her doubts, realizing that His Highness was simply a genius among geniuses.

Cael ventured outside the shabby palace, seeking to breathe in some fresh air and relax. With the necessary items already purchased, he no longer had any pressing concerns.
After dozing off for a while, Cael felt small hands poking at his cheeks, causing him to immediately open his eyes. To his dismay, he found himself face to face with his nightmare.
The trouble magnet, someone who had the potential to disrupt his peaceful and Slacker life.
