- Third Person POV -
Mingyu groaned waking up the next morning.
"Ow... My arm." He whined as he blinked open his eyes to look at the weight on his arm. "Heavy... ...Uhhh..."
Flashbacks of the night flooded into his head as he looked at Soonyoung in his arms. 'OH SHIT! THAT HAPPENED!'
"Well, that went down fast." Mingyu gulped hesitating to move his arm.
"You're not half bad, egg." Soonyoung scoffed. He was awake—wide awake—had been for some time—but with his eyes closed.
"Y-You're awake!" Mingyu jolted up in shock.
"No shit. Your damn alarm woke me up way too early." Soonyoung rubbed his eyes pulling the blanket over him to cover his naked figure.
"My alarm! Wait, what time is it?" Mingyu panicked knowing he had to reach the even on time.
"Too early to be shouting. Please, you're giving me a headache." Soonyoung rolled his eyes.
"Shit! I'll be late!" Mingyu pushed off the blanket hurriedly dressing up.
"Late?"
"For the adoption drive! I'm the organizer I can't be late!" Mingyu freaked out gathering his things.
"Alright, I'll take your free breakfast then." Soonyoung rolled up in the blanket.
"How about you? What's your plan?" Mingyu turned around.
"I don't know. I'll figure it out when I go back to the city, I guess." Soonyoung pouted peeking through an opening. "Probably sell my sole prized possession to survive or something."
"Your brother will be at the event, y'know? Why not apologize at the very least?" Mingyu sighed zipping his bag up.
"Hyung, was really mad at me. It was the first time I saw him like that. He probably wouldn't even want to see me." Soonyoung sat up covering himself.
"Still..."
"What about you? You're pretty hurt too, would you forgive your friend just like that? Aren't you here in the first place because you didn't want to see him?"
"Yes, but we agreed to not just leave it like that. We'll get back to it when we're ready. If he won't forgive you now, at least show him that you intend to still fix it sooner or later. Besides I you're your brother. I ticked him off a few times but we're still getting along somehow!"
"Yeah, it's actually surprising he's friends with someone like you. He hates your type."
"Ugh... I've had it with that mouth of yours. You're as stubborn as him!" Mingyu walked to Soonyoung and picked him up. "Let's go!"
"Waaah!" Soonyoung whined as he was princess carried to the bathroom.
"All I know is that you both care for each other a lot. At least try to fix it."
"Really? You don't just need a free ride?" Soonyoung sulked with crimson cheeks.
"Yeah, maybe that too." Mingyu chuckled.
"Pay for gas this time!" Soonyoung bit his lower lip. "Also, I didn't bring spare clothes, lend me yours!"
"Okay, but wouldn't Han notice?"
"Heh~ Rest in peace Mr. Kim."

"Cheol, wake up." Jeonghan shook Seungcheol who was sleeping on his couch after the movie night with Chan. "Cheol..."
"Hmm?" Seungcheol thought he was still dreaming—dreaming of Jeonghan, wanting to kiss him and—
"Sorry for cutting your sleep short but I need to leave early for the event." Jeonghan smiled. "Someone had to watch Chan."
"Han..." Seungcheol was still dreaming as he reached his hand up cupping Jeonghan's cheek.
"Ah—" Jeonghan's heart pounded and his face flushed red at the unexpected contact. "Uhmm..."
Seungcheol at this second came to his senses as he jolted up. "Huh?! R-Right! Sorry, I'm awake now!"
"Jeez, you sleep like a log." Jeonghan chuckled.
"Ugh... How long was I out?" Seungcheol gulped.
"All night."
"You were here all night?"
"Yeah, we both dosed off during the movie last night, remember? I woke up past midnight but Chan was still awake, so I put him to bed. You looked like you needed the sleep, so I didn't bother waking you up."
The image of Jeonghan's head resting on his shoulder rushed into Seungcheol's mind. 'So, was that a thing that happened or did I make it up in my mind? I can't tell...'
"So, are you gonna sit there the whole day or what?" Jeonghan asked before pointing to the dining table. "Chan's having breakfast already."
"Ah! Yes! Coming!"
"Hurry! I've been dying to brag about this!" Jeonghan guided Seungcheol to the table.
"About what?" Seungcheol got curious.
"I made Chan-approved pancakes!" Jeonghan showed off the dish that was laid out in front of Chan.
"They taste like pancakes!" Chan exclaimed ready to dig in.
"Wow, looks like we have a chef in the house." Seungcheol chuckled.
"Hahaha! Yeah, you better start catching up, mister." Jeonghan smiled. "Anyway, you guys are still going to the adoption drive, right?"
"But I'll still give Mingyu the space he needs during the event, of course. I promised him that I'll support the event and I don't want to break that."
"Yeah, it means a lot to him."
"Chanie will be super good this time! No more running!" Chan promised.
"'I will be good...'" Seungcheol corrected.
"Oh! I will be good this time!" Chan laughed before turning serious. "Because I wanna keep seeing Papa!"
"Hm? What do you mean, Chan?" Seungcheol asked worriedly.
"Grandpa said I get in a lot of trouble with Papa. So, I should just stay home with grandma. It's not Papa's fault. I have to be a good boy this time, so Grandpa won't get mad. Because I wanna keep Papa and Uncle! If I do that we'll all stay together, right?"
"Chan, it's Papa
"My job to make sure we'll always be together. You don't have to worry about that ever, okay?" Seungcheol took Chan into his arms circling his back.
"Yay! Okay!" Chan exclaimed.
"Come on, let's get dressed first. We don't want to be late." Seungcheol patted Chan's head.
"Yay! I'm gonna pet all the puppies!"
"Haha! I'll head there first. See you both later!" Jeonghan took his leave.
