- Third Person POV -
"Do you think they're still there?" Seungcheol asked driving back after he picked up Chan from his grandmother's house.
"I don't know. It's already late so I doubt it." Jeonghan scrolled through his phone looking at his contacts.
"Any replies from Mingyu?"
"No, I'll try asking Jisoo." Jeonghan glanced back at Chan who was watching cartoons on the tablet before he looked at the message that popped up on his phone. "Ah, Jisoo dropped him off at your house a couple of hours ago."
"I guess they finished setting up. That's good." Seungcheol smiled.
"Yeah..."
And at that moment... Seungcheol realized. "Wait, Mingyu doesn't have keys to the house... He's probably been waiting for hours."
"Crap, let's hurry then!"

As they drove up to Seungcheol's house the unfamiliar objects caught their eyes.
"Huh?" Seungcheol blinked twice to make sure he wasn't seeing things. "Whose motorcycle is that?"
"It's blocking your driveway." Jeonghan's eyes twitched at the familiarity of the thing but seemed to not remember who it belonged to. As just that second, he snapped his head to his right making his eyes widen. "There's Mingyu! Wait, what's happening?"
"I-Is that..." Jeonghan immediately recognized Soonyoung.
"You know him?" Seungcheol raised an eyebrow.
"Yes! That's my brother!" Jeonghan yelled at his face." Cheol, stop the car!"
"Ah..." Seungcheol did not want to tell Jeonghan that the car was already at a stop ever since they got there.

"Um... You might want to turn around." Mingyu pointed behind Soonyoung to divert his attention.
"Soonyoung! What the hell are you doing?! Get off him!" Jeonghan yelled kicking open the car door and scaring the crap out of Soonyoung and Seungcheol.
"Oh no..." Soonyoung knew he messed up.
"Heh~ I guess it takes a Yoon to beat a Kwon." Mingyu smiled.
"That does not make sense." Soonyoung gave Mingyu a side eye before he stood up to greet Jeonghan. "H-Hyung..."
Jeonghan stomped over in furry.
"W-What a nice little neighborhood you've got here. I really like the vibes. I can totally see why you moved." Soonyoung wanted to punch himself in the face shrinking back at Jeonghan's presence.
"Yeah! Until you showed up!" Jeonghan grabbed Soonyoung's ear pulling on it. "What were you doing? Care to explain yourself?"
"I was just looking for you because you suddenly disappeared from your apartment and clinic! A-And then this guy..." Soonyoung pouted as Jeonghan finally let go of his throbbing ear.
"Suddenly? I tried calling you multiple times to let you know but I couldn't get a hold of you!"
"O-Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you I had to sell my phone." Soonyoung looked away laughing it his stupidity.
"Just get straight to the point, Soonyoung. What made you show up this time?" Jeonghan had enough of Soonyoung's shenanigans.
"Since you're already scolding him, please tell your brother not to punch random people on the street." Mingyu coughed standing up as he fixed his clothes.
"O-Oh right! Mingyu! Are you okay?" Jeonghan for a split second forgot Mingyu existed.
"I'm alright actually. I'm more worried about you two... What took you guys so long? Where did you go? Is everything alright? In the car... Why was there a—" Mingyu's eyes trailed Seungcheol carrying Chan out of the car. His face turned cold and hurt as his voice dropped a few octaves with anger laced in his tone. "No, I'll just talk to him myself."
"Cheol..." Mingyu walked up to Seungcheol.
"Mingyu you're bleeding!" Seungcheol was quick to notice Mingyu's burst lip as he let Chan stand on his feet holding his hand hiding behind his legs.
"It's nothing..." Mingyu looked down at Chan with a serious expression as he uncanny resemblance me had to Seungcheol. "That kid... You looked very much like that when we were kids... Is he the reason why you left earlier?"
Seungcheol nodded with a pained smile as he took Chan into his arms. "Sorry, the introductions are a little late... Mingyu, this is Chan. He's my son."
Mingyu's face turned shocked and hurt. Why had his best friend not told him of his son sooner? He felt left out and betrayed almost.
"I'm Chanie and I'm three! Almost four!" Chan held up this age in numbers on his fingers.
"A little late? Cheol, he's three. Why are you telling me this now?" Mingyu took a step back as his heart clenched in widening his eyes in disbelief at the lie that had been kept from him for so long. He looked behind him at Jeonghan as his lips trembled at his reaction. "Am I the only... The only one who doesn't know this? Min? Ming? Even Han who just got here?"
Mingyu's head snapped back to look at Seungcheol and scoffed. "I know we all have our own lives now, you don't have to tell me about every single thing... But something like this... Aren't we friends, Cheol? Why wouldn't you tell me?"
"Mingyu, it's not like that." Seungcheol knew Mingyu would react this way but still, he reached his hand out in hopes of calming him down. "Let's talk about this."
"NO!" Mingyu smacked Seungcheol's hand away. "I'm upset... I'm sorry I can't help it. T-There's just so much going on, I've been on edge for days wondering why you're acting like this way around me. Then suddenly there's this."
Mingyu looked away and walked away it was too much for him to take all in one day. "I j-just... I can't deal with this right now. It's too much for me. I'll look for another place to stay for a while... We need to talk but not right now. I'm upset and I don't want to say things I will eventually regret."
Seungcheol stared at Mingyu as he walked away.
"You did goof, Cheol." Jeonghan smiled keeping a hand on his shoulder. "he's right. It's better to talk about it when he's calmed down. Give him the space he needs."
"I landed right in the middle of the drama, talk about bad timing." Soonyoung looked down at Chan who ran to him with sparkling eyes. "Right, little person?"
"Cool hair!" Chan pointed at Soonyoung's spiky hair.
"Thanks." Soonyoung smiled. "I kinda feel bad for Golden Retriever. But I still have to make sure he won't go straight to the station."
"Bye!" Chan waved to the departing Soonyoung.
"But where will he go? And he's injured." Seungcheol turned to Jeonghan.
"Don't worry, I'll make sure he's okay. That one is my brother's fault anyway." Jeonghan ran to Mingyu's site to comfort him for the time being.
Seungcheol took Chan into his arms heading into his house as Soonyoung retreated his motorcycle.

This has been quite a journey with you as I'd like to say that Season 1 will be coming to an end within a few more EPs followed by a one-month hiatus before Season two arrives. I am so grateful for all your support. It had kept me wanting to come back here for you all the time and it truly makes me happy to see you enjoying this story.
