We just wrapped up our filming today here in Prince Edward Island. Our stay here has been so fruitful, memorable and most importantly that we discovered a lot of things not just in places but with ourselves. My friendship with Kyle grew even stronger than what we had before. I'm thankful that we didn't feel any awkwardness after that night. We are both aware that it happened, but we just chose to move forward.
"Charlotte! Let's go! We might miss our flight!" Kyle called as I checked our room if we missed some of our things.
"Okay! I'll be there!"
I looked at our room, and the place that we stayed for the last time. I am going to miss this place so much! But I am glad to go back home to Vancouver now.
I miss Vancouver so much and I cannot wait to be back in a few hours.
I closed the door and Kyle was there waiting for me
He lent his hand to me "Let's go back home to Vancouver." He said while smiling at me
I nodded at him as i held his hand
We then walk together to our vehicle.

It's been a week since we came back home to Vancouver and today Kyle and I aren't together. Because he will be guesting in a tv show today and it will be live telecasted. I was asked by Kyle and his parents if I wanted to come, but I chose to just take a rest at home. After all I have been away from them for a month, so I guess they do deserve to have their beautiful daughter in the house for a while.
We all sat in the living room waiting for Kyle on the television. Even Praxton is here with us. He may have missed his little sister a bit. Ever since I came home, he constantly knocks at my bedroom door to check if I was there.
And when I would ask him if he needed anything he would just quietly leave
"Oh he is handsome even on television!" mom said as Kyle was shown wearing his casual formal attire and he was also striking his haircut that's short. It wasn't new to my eyes to see him with the hair, but why do I get the feeling like it does look good on him? I must have been imagining things...
Is this because of what happened to us in PEI?
Have I really?...
No! That's ridiculous! Kyle...Kyle is my best friend and we promised to each other we will stay like that for the meantime.
So heart, just stay like what we did before. We have to act what we were before.
"Hey! Charlotte! Your boyfriend has some charisma!" Praxton teased me with his loud voice
"He is not my boyfriend! He is my best friend!" I corrected him with the same loud voice he just channeled in me
"Yeah yeah whatever you say"
"Shh! I can't hear what they were saying, "Mom telling us to be quiet by putting her index finger in her lips.
"So Kyle, how are you? I heard you are filming something." The tv show host told him with his jolly personality
Kyle nodded while smiling, it's his smile whenever he is in public. It's his fun and down to earth smile.
"I am doing well, busy." He answered with full confidence
"Ohh!!! So you are busy! Now I am looking forward to that show you were filming! Hahaha Tell us Kyle, about more of being an actor at an early age. Did you really dream of the position you are in now? And how is school while being an actor. It must have been difficult."
"Haha well yeah! I do, i couldn't see myself somewhere else other than acting right now. And I am currently homeschooled as I had always been, but I plan to be in a regular school this Term 2 with my best friend." When he said the word 'my best friend' I couldn't help but feel proud of myself. and Tell the world that it's me! I am the best friend of Kyle!
"ohhh is she a girl?"
"Yes she is." He said looking the host and to the camera as if he is talking to me
"Without hesitation! We like a confident man here! So Kyle, speaking of girls. Do you or did you have any crushes? Celebrities or not? I know your fans are waiting for this answer!"
He first giggled before answering him and i can still very clearly his blushing face
I couldn't help but to think...is it me?
Am I the one you still like Kyle?
Or is it someone else now, that we turned each other down...
"I do, it's my best friend. Hi Charlotte, I know you are watching right now!" He said confidently and then he waved his hand to the camera
I suddenly felt warm and put a bright smile on my face. I don't care what my family thinks of me anymore or to Kyle. All I care now is that Kyle still likes me, and he is proud to say it to everyone around the world. Yes! Girls! It's me! I am that girl! I am that lucky girl!
"Yieeee i told you! He is your boyfriend!" Praxton continued teasing me, and somehow I couldn't defend myself anymore.
Even though he really isn't

"I cannot wait to meet this girl! Tell me more about her later for me Kyle! And let's invite her the next time you come here again!"
"Of course! Of course!"
His interview then continued for a few minutes until it was about to end already. My mind was still in the moment where Kyle just admitted to the whole world my name and who I was to him. I wanted to reply to it all over again and just continue watching that moment.
It's just a crush Charlotte come on!
We have to move on!!!
Although this is not the first time Kyle said my name to the whole world. He did this many times already when we were much younger. The most prominent in my mind is when he did it for the first time. He was promoting his movie in a morning show at that time and I was also sick at that time so I wasn't able to go to school. At home it was only me and my dad, he was the one who was taking care of me while mom worked and Praxton went to school. Dad went to the supermarket for a while to buy me fruits and something to eat. I turned on the television while I waited for him in our living room, all cozy.
"Today we have the cast of Odd future! Anne, Cara, Kyle and Theo!" the male host energetically introduced them
It's Kyle! Now I do remember...he was talking about this a week ago and he told me that i should watch him
I also remember saying to him that I might not be able to watch him, because of school. He felt sad about it, but then remembered that it would also be posted in social media after.
But now, I could really watch him
Did he just wish for me to stay at home for this show?!
"So Kyle this question is for you, what is friendship for you at your age? Do you also have a best friend in real life? Like what your character in this movie has?"
"Friendship for me is we are just there for each other no matter what happens, even if the world ends. And Yes, I just recently had a best friend and she's a girl and her name is Charlotte. Hi Charlotte, I know you are watching me right now. Get well soon!"
My jaw dropped at what he just did and he even named me! I think my fever is going to be really better at this point. I am surprised Kyle...I don't even know what to say anymore. I don't know what else to feel! I think this is the fever. Yeah...I am just sick.
And up until now i still don't know what to feel, whenever he speaks my name in public. Until I was just used to it. That's also the first time my classmates knew that I was telling them the truth. That Kyle is my best friend. When I went back to class, they went over me as soon as I stepped inside our classroom.
"So you and Kyle! It's true! You are really telling the truth!"
"Introduce me Charlotte! Please!!!"
"Invite him here Charlotte!"
"Yeah! Invite him here!"
"Please Charlotte!!!"
I sigh as i went to my seat before i replied to them
"Okay, I'll try..."

It's already the start of our filming again, and this time we are filming in a studio in Downtown Vancouver. It's a studio made for film productions and Green screen type of production. It was used to lessen the cost for the Production, and for the actors to use more of their fighting style that needed harnesses and for stunts.
The actors present are The Team Alchemy and the actress playing Queen Hiraya. The actress who was playing as her is named Katara. She's a friend of Luna, they met through a coffee shop a year ago. Luna told her to audition as Hiraya, because she's perfect for it. Katara is also of half Asian descent, a Canadian-Filipina who had the same story as Charlotte. She and her family also migrated here in Canada, but they came here before she was even born. Like Kyle, she also hasn't come back to the Philippines yet ever since she was born. And she didn't have a normal childhood like he was. At the age of 17 years old, she had already made many films and is also a black belter in martial arts.
When the Team Alchemy first met Katara, they already felt why she was chosen by Luna. She possesses a strong aura of someone with high authority. Her brown eyes gleamers and her dark brown long hair made them in awe of her. Her fair skin is almost like snow. They just felt less intimidated by her when she was the one who came to them and introduced herself all smiles.
"Hi everyone! I am Katara, I am glad to finally meet you all. Luna has been talking about you to me and she told me how fun your group was. I am happy to work with you all."
"Nice to meet you too Katara, I am Timothy, and this is Charlotte, Kyle, and Mckenna. We actually don't know what to say because we were all starstrucked at you hahaha"
Katara then smiled at them more widely and laughed with them. They talked more to lessen the awkwardness when filming already.
Katara then was called in the other dressing room to fix her hair color to light blonde. They have only used a wig for her since her appearance for Potion's Inc. Book 1 is only once.
The Team Alchemy were all wearing cloaks associated with their Kingdoms and to what elements they are holding. This is the tradition of the Ethereal Kingdom when finally being acknowledged by their King or Queen as a fully pledge Elemental. It's like being wedded to their Kingdom.
"Places everyone! Quiet Please! Stand by! Sound Ready! Camera rolling! Mark it! And Action!"
The Team Alchemy was transported to the Ethereal Kingdom from the Portal of the Lighthouse in Cape tryon lighthouse in Prince Edward island. They used the door to travel in the Kingdom. They all stood outside the gates of the castle and were asked of their business to the Castle.
Nicholas spoke in behalf of them
"We made an appointment to the Queen, we are here to pledge our friend." pointing to Lizzy who was standing just beside him on the left. Kaia on his right and then Tristan.
"Name"
"I am Nicholas, the owner of Potion's Inc."
The guard was then stunned by the name as everyone was aware how reputable Potion's Inc. is. He then apologized for not knowing his presence and let them in immediately. He also escorted them to the palace grounds while everyone was admiring the surroundings. The palace has a vast garden on both sides and a big white three tier fountain in the middle of the ground. The castle has a glass like white shade and has bright lights all over it. At the tip of the castle roof shines the color of light purple, representing the color of the Kingdom.
The group then were stunned at how many guards surrounds the entire castle
"We have to bring in more guards to protect our Queen, our Empress. As she's the only one heir to the throne. We hope that it doesn't bother you, our esteemed guests." It's the trusted butler of Queen Hiraya, who was waiting for them in entrance of the castle
"Nope, not at all." Tristan said
"Very well, the Queen will be in the throne room any minute. I suggest you should wait for her there." He then guided them to where they were supposed to go. The inside of the castle shines the same shade of white on its exterior and has gold details all over it.
They stood inside the big throne room quietly admiring everything they were seeing. There's only one chair in the center, which felt lonely for most of them as it used to have three of them. Now that the former King and Queen are gone, and the Queen still doesn't have its King. Leaving her sitting alone in the most supreme place in the Kingdom.
The Queen then arrived, striking her light blonde hair with her tiara with purple gem details on it. She was wearing a white long gown with gold details on it, and she's also wearing a white cape with the same gold details as her gown has. The gown fits right through her, making the gown show the hour glass shape of the Queen's body.
Her eyes felt empty yet strong
She has to. Kaia thought.
The Queen then gave them a soft smile playing at the corners of her mouth, it was like a crescent moon in the night sky but fleeting as a flower that just bloomed in the spring. She walked with the most authority anyone had seen today. She held her head like she could command anyone if she spoke.
She stops a few meters from them just below where her chair is. As it was placed after 5 curved stairs.
The four of them then gave a bow to the Queen and waited for her to speak
"Lift your heads, and tell me why you wished to see me."
"Your majesty, we wished for our dear friend Lizzy to officially be pledged as a fire elemental holder." Kaia spoke, representing them
The Queen chuckled
"How funny is the fate that a new fire elemental has been gifted. And she's here in front of me. I apologize for my words, as I have just been hurt by an old friend who was also a fire holder 3 months ago. She died in the rage of her betrayal in my hands. The fire that I took away, I would now be giving it back to someone else."
She then took a deep breath and exhaled it, letting the painful memories erase in her mind.
"Tell me Lizzy, how did you discover that you can bend the element of fire?"
She then looked at her friends before speaking to the Queen. They just nodded at her and told them it's going to be alright.
"I was cursed by a witch when I was a lost soul wandering in the darkness for 10 years. She cursed me so I could protect myself from the dark souls."
The eyes of the Queen widen as to what she just heard
"Tell me the name of the witch, Did she originate in the Dark Kingdom?"
"Her name is Nyx, and yes she said that she came from the Dark Kingdom. But now she's living in the mortal realm." Lizzy answered
"That witch...she's still alive after all..." the Queen whispered to herself
"Very well. Come forward Lizzy."
Lizzy stood forward and came near to the Queen. The Queen then placed her thumb to Lizzy's forehead and to her heart. It glows like the lights that surround the castle and Lizzy watches as the Queen's eyes turn light purple from her brown eyes earlier. Lizzy's eyes then turned to the color of a blue flame, and so did the long dress and cape she's wearing right now.
The pledge then finished and the Queen then offered a warm smile at her
"That suits you better, I think that Potion's Inc. is where you belong, Lizzy. Your blue flame speaks for you. I think it's about time for the present and next generation of Potion's Inc. to have its Guardians too like the Magic Shop. Would you agree, Nicholas? hmm?"
"I do agree, Your Majesty." he answered
"Then let me know how many you need and I'll do my best to send them to you. You can always just send the mail right through my personal mail box, Nicholas."
Nicholas then smiled at her for her generosity "Thank you, Your majesty." he said
"Let Lizzy be your new Guardian of blue flame and lost souls. If you both accept, then Potion's Inc. will be your new home and you shall no longer wander alone in the darkness."
Their mind reeled, unable to grasp the offer of The Queen especially for Lizzy. She would be a Guardian like Kaia and Tristan. And she won't be alone anymore, as Potion's Inc. will be her home. Her new family is going to be her friends, which she always had been wishing for. Wishing to be with them for the rest of her life.
To be a Guardian, you must earn a superior amount of mastery in a specific field. Many Guardians took many years to master their fields, and some only took months. You don't have to be a Graduate of any magic schools in the Parallel Universe, to earn the said title. You just have to prove yourself worthy of the title. Even for still students like Kaia and Timothy, they already earned themselves credibility in their fields.
For owners like the Magic Shop and Potion's Inc. They don't need the title to be deemed worthy. Because they are already masters. They were trained to lead the Guardians in their businesses, they were trained to be leaders. A specific medal is awarded to them on the very first day of their job, from all the Kings and Queens of the Light Kingdom.
They all then went near to Lizzy and held both of her shoulder telling her that they got her
"Your majesty, I accept Lizzy to be a new addition to the Guardians of Potion's Inc." Nicholas said right through the purple eyes of the Queen
"I accept, your majesty." Lizzy said with tears of joy in her eyes
The Queen smiled at them and lifted her hands as light sparkled in her palms. The light sparkles like magic dust to Team Alchemy, it's a blessing from their Queen, to their Empress. The night that once empty, became full of hope.
Then the Queen then created a badge in her hands. Giving it to Lizzy. The badge has a gold flame symbol in it and the ribbon had the same blue color of her flame.
"Yay! You have a badge like we do now!" Kaia said and made Lizzy be more in tears due to happiness she's been feeling right now
The badge of Kaia has the wave of an ocean, the ribbon has a color of sapphire. For Tristan it has a balance scale, while the ribbon color is midnight blue.
"Oh! I wish I had a badge like you guys have!" Nicholas said that made everyone even the Queen chuckle
The Queen then made him a personalized badge, she then gave it to him.
"This is for the owner of Potion's Inc. for your sacrifices and dedication." she said that made Nicholas touched
"Thank you, your majesty!" he said, looking at her then he admired the badge. It has a symbol of a Potion bottle and has a navy blue color in its ribbon.
"You're welcome, you may now go home and I'll see you all soon."
They thanked the Queen again before leaving the room
"And cut!" Eli their director said, using the same megaphone he's been using ever since the start of filming months ago
"We will start again later after changing the set." he added, so everyone took a break. Mckenna and Timothy went to grab a drink in the set pantry, while Charlotte and Kyle went together and sat in a chair with a foldable table on it. After what happened a week ago with Kyle announcing her name in the public. It somehow made everyone a bit awkward, but still they didn't make it seem like it was obvious. Especially the two of them.
Kyle made sure that there won't be a rift with him and his best friend. He would always be with her and talk to her. He would always make the effort not to have a wall between him and her. He won't let it happen. He won't let go of Charlotte so easily. So does she. She would also make sure that Kyle still laughs so hard that his eyes would turn like a crescent moon. And every time he does, she feels like they are still the best person for each other.
"Shut up! Hahaha but yeah I kinda agree he does look good with bald hair hahaha" Charlotte said while they laughed constantly, while peeking at their director talking to their art director in the set.
"See! Hahaha I am right! Hahaha" Kyle said proudly to himself.
They laugh continuously until their laughter begins to calm like a storm in the seas. They were just smiling and looking at each other's eyes. Sitting across with each other makes them look more. They gaze sensing the same understanding. Words and feelings that only they knew.
"What?" Charlotte asked while still smiling at him
"I don't know, this is the first time we looked at each other like this. You have a very beautiful set of eyes Charlotte." he said smiling too at her
She then playfully tapped his shoulders, she stood then said "I know! That's why I am your crush right? Hahaha."
Kyle rolled his eyes at her while smiling at her, he also stood
"Yeah yeah whatever! Quit teasing me about it!" he said while they walk to go to the pantry
Charlotte then placed her arm to Kyle's shoulder and said "Don't stop crushing all over me, Kyle. I like how confident you are hahaha"
Kyle then let out a loud laugh that made everyone look at them without them noticing. He also put his arm on her shoulder and said loudly to her ears
"Yeah! if that's what you want!"
