Nairari was out with the girls since it's been long since they caught up with each other. Jakari had been so clingy to Nairari after sharing their first intimate moment.
"You are glowing" Melani smiled as they sat outside a cute cafe near the beach.
"Definitely got the D" Nique laughed
"You finally did the deed??" Aliyah asked in excitement
"She did,she just had to" Imani laughed
"Y'all are just being delusional" Miriam sighed
"Can we let her explain" Kehlani laughed
"Can ya'll calm down,damn lemme explain" Nairari laughed
"Go on,we need every single detail" Melani smiled
"Jakari and I had sex ,that's all you need to know and it was so amazing,like he definitely knows how to handle a woman" Nairari explained
"Oh my gosh,oh my gosh,my girl finally got some action after a long ass time" Nique cheesed
"I'm happy for you " Melani smiled
"I've been talking with Omar for 3 months now and I still haven't gotten any action" Imani pouted.
"He needs to stop being childish,and he definitely has to stop talking to his ex girlfriend ,I don't need you heartbroken with a broken hymen" Nairari sighed
"He still talks to his ex?? That's crazy" Nique laughed
"I really love Omar but he has to stop acting like a child who can't live without his favourite toy,I'm the new woman in his life now and he has to act like it" Imani explained
"Gotta give him some time babes" Melani smiled
"You know what you should do, everytime y'all are together,you gotta act as if he isn't there and do you ,once you do that frequently,he is gonna know that he has been looking at the wrong with all this time whilst the right woman is right in front of him, play his game" Miriam told Imani
"And if he doesn't change ,I'll deal with him personally with Jakari" Nairari laughed
"Thank you guys,what would I do without y'all" Imani smiled
"We got you girl" Aliyah cheesed
The rest of the day was full of laughs and eating different foods from different restaurants. Meanwhile the boys were playing some basketball at Jakari's house.
"You are a giant ,I can barely even shoot a hoop " Khalil huffed as he tried getting past Jakari but he took the ball from him
"Your skills are horrible" Omar laughed making Khalil give him the middle finger
"Since we are talking about horribleness,you gotta stop treating Imani like shit" Khalil spoke up
"Woah woah woah,what do you mean treating her.like shit,I don't treat Imani like that" Omar defended himself
"You do my nigga,you act as if she's invisible and your so stuck to your ex,like do better" Khalil sighed
"I love Imani and I treat her like a lady,why you so up in my business" Omar sighed
"You really gotta stop talking to your ex Omar , your draining Imani ngl" Malik shrugged
"You see, everyone sees the way you treat her bruh" Khalil huffed
"You have to tell Delilah that,you have a new woman in your life and that y'all no longer need to be taking to each other,it ain't that hard" Jakari told Omar
"He definitely has a point,cause imagine if Imani did what your doing to her,you'd be sick to your stomach " Carter agreed with Jakari
"Your relationship is falling to pieces and you don't even see it,fix it" Daquan shrugged
"Imani needs all your attention,she just wants you to be real with her" Amir smiled
"And grow up,we no longer in college,Stop being childish and pull up your big boy pants" Malik sighed
"Yes " Isaiah agreed making them burst out laughing
"Even Isaiah agrees with us" Jakari laughed
"Be a man and fix your relationship" Khalil sighed
"Alright,I think it's time I stop entertaining Delilah and focus on the woman I love the most " Omar smiled
"That's our boy" Carter cheesed
"Thank you ,I appreciate ya'll" Omar smiled .
"I'm hungry" Isaiah pouted
"Let's go inside and order some food" Jakari smiled and they all walked back to the house.
The girls were now heading back to Jakari's house to join the guys after a long day of galavanting together. They had bought food for everyone as well as ice cream.
" A bitch is tired" Nairari sighed as they got to Jakari's house getting out of the car.
"I need a drink" Nique sighed and the girls looked at her funny
"Bitch" Melani laughed
"What??" Nique laughed as well
"You literally had 4 drinks already,why you need more?" Miriam asked
"So I can black out later on ,so I don't have to listen to Malik shout at his game,he is just too loud" Nique laughed
"Understandable" Kehlani laughed
"What's with these guys and video games?" Imani asked as the walked into the house.
"They say,it gets their mind off of the drama going on" Nairari laughed
"Is that what Jakari tells you?" Aliyah laughed out loud
"He never gets tired of NBA2K24 ,like sir I know you're in the NBA doesn't mean you have to play games about itttt" Nairari laughed as they placed down the food in the kitchen and went to the lounge to see the boys watching fast and furious.
"It's like they don't see us" Nique rolled her eyes and crossed her arms
"HEYYYYYYYYYYY" Nairari shouted as she clapped her hands making the boys pause the TV .
"What??" Jakari answered and Nairari took off her slipper and threw it at Jakari's head.
"Shit" Khalil laughed
"Don't you ever what me again Jakari" Nairari rolled her eyes.
"So y'all didn't hear us come inside??" Miriam asked
"They definitely don't give a shit about us" Nique mugged them
"What if we were armed robbers Hmmm?" Aliyah sighed
"We brought food,but we gon eat it alone since our "boyfriends" don't acknowledge us anymore" Melani rolled her eyes
They all went to the kitchen and waited for the food the boys ordered to arrive so they could eat both. There was an awkward silence between Imani and Omar whilst everyone else was chatting with each other.
"Can we talk?" Omar asked Imani breaking the silence between them
"Sure" Imani sighed and they left the kitchen going outside neat the pool to talk.
"How was your day?" Omar asked Imani
"It was alright" Imani shrugged as she looked at the pool
"I know you're mad at me Imani,I'm sorry" Omar sighed
"You think saying sorry like that is going to make me not drop your ass? Omar I am tired of your childish behaviour and I'm definitely tired of you talking to your ex as if I'm not the woman in your life right now,you have to let that bitch know that you have a girl now and that you're not the same Omar anymore from the past" Imani ranted out as she faced Omar
"I am not a toy you can just play with then throw away,and I love you too much to leave you,I need to see you change ,I need to see you matured and I need you to be there for me Omar,but for now ,I need my space and you need space to change,so imma move out of your house tomorrow and when I see that you've changed I will come back but for now I can't deal with this anymore" Imani explained with tears in her eyes .
Imani stood up and went back into the house, leaving Omar alone outside with a broken heart. Not only did Omar lose Imani but he also lost himself.
