*TW: Assault 😢

As Hermione excitedly opened the package from her parents, her eyes widened in awe at the sight of the beautiful dress nestled within. It was an elegant gown, flowing and delicate, with intricate lace detailing that sparkled in the light.

"Oh, it's gorgeous!" Hermione exclaimed, her voice filled with delight as she held up the dress for Ron and Harry to see.

Ron's eyes widened in surprise as he took in the sight of the dress. "Wow, Hermione, that's... nice," he said, his voice tinged with admiration.

But his enthusiasm was short-lived as Mrs. Weasley approached, a familiar garment in her hands. "Ron, dear, I've got something for you too," she said, her tone cheerful.

Ron's heart sank as Mrs. Weasley handed him a set of dress robes that looked decidedly worn and outdated. "What's this?" he asked, his voice filled with dismay.

Mrs. Weasley smiled warmly at her son. "It's your dress robes, dear," she explained. "They belonged to your brother Bill, then Charlie, then Percy, and now they're yours."

Ron's face fell as he examined the robes, his disappointment palpable. "But... they're awful!" he exclaimed, his tone filled with frustration.

Hermione stifled a giggle at Ron's reaction, trying to hide her amusement behind her hand. "Oh, Ron, they're not that bad," she said, trying to console him. "And besides, it's not about what you wear, it's about having a good time."

Harry chuckled at Ron's predicament, but his laughter was cut short as Viktor Krum approached, his eyes fixed on Hermione with an intensity that made her uncomfortable.

"Hermione," Krum said, his voice low and insistent, "will you accompany me to the Yule Ball?"

Hermione's heart skipped a beat at Krum's unexpected request, her mind racing with uncertainty. "I... I'm sorry, Viktor," she stammered, her voice trembling slightly. "But I'm already going with Harry."

But Krum was not so easily deterred, his gaze unwavering as he pressed on. "You should reconsider, Hermione," he said, his tone persuasive. "I can offer you an unforgettable evening, unlike Potter."

Hermione's discomfort grew with each passing moment, her mind swirling with conflicting emotions. "I appreciate the offer, Viktor," she said, her voice firm, "but I've made my decision."

But Krum wasn't ready to give up just yet, his persistence bordering on insistence. "Think about it, Hermione," he said, his tone imploring. "I can show you a side of magic you've never seen before."

Hermione's resolve wavered as Krum continued to press her, his words stirring a sense of curiosity within her. But before she could respond, Harry stepped forward, his expression protective and determined.

"Leave her alone, Krum," Harry said, his voice firm. "She's made her choice, and she's going with me."

Krum's eyes narrowed at Harry's words, but he backed off, his expression unreadable. "Very well," he said finally, his tone tinged with disappointment. "But don't say I didn't warn you, Hermione."

With a final nod, Krum turned and walked away, leaving Hermione feeling shaken and uncertain. But as she turned to Harry, she found strength and reassurance in his unwavering support, grateful for the love and loyalty that bound them together.

As the days passed and the Yule Ball drew nearer, tension hung thick at Hogwarts. Harry, Ron, and Hermione found themselves in the library, poring over books in preparation for the upcoming tasks of the Triwizard Tournament. But their focus was shattered when Viktor Krum approached them, his expression unreadable.

"Hermione," Krum said, his voice grave, "I need to speak with you."

Hermione's heart skipped a beat at the seriousness in Krum's tone, her mind racing with apprehension. "What is it, Viktor?" she asked, her voice tinged with concern.

But before Krum could respond, a commotion erupted from across the library. Students gasped and whispered as they watched a scene unfold before their eyes—a scene that would shake Hogwarts to its core.

Draco Malfoy, flanked by his cronies Crabbe and Goyle, stood before a trembling Hagrid, a look of malicious triumph etched upon his features. "I knew it!" Malfoy sneered, his voice dripping with contempt. "You're the one who brought that dragon to Hogwarts, aren't you?"

Hagrid's face paled at the accusation, his eyes darting nervously around the room. "I... I don't know what you're talking about," he stammered, his voice barely above a whisper.

But Malfoy wasn't about to back down, his sneer growing more pronounced with each passing moment. "Don't play dumb, Hagrid," he spat, his tone laced with malice. "We all know you're hiding something. And I'm going to make sure everyone finds out."

The library erupted into chaos as students whispered and murmured amongst themselves, casting accusatory glances at Hagrid. But amidst the confusion, Hermione's mind was racing, piecing together the puzzle before her.

"Viktor," she said, turning to Krum with a sense of urgency, "we need to talk—now."

With a nod of understanding, Krum followed Hermione out of the library, leaving Harry and Ron to exchange worried glances. Something sinister was at play, and they were determined to uncover the truth before it was too late.

As Hermione and Viktor stepped into a secluded corner of the castle grounds, a sense of unease settled over her like a heavy shroud. She could feel Viktor's eyes on her, his gaze burning with an intensity that made her skin crawl.

"Viktor, I want you to stay away from me I have a-" Hermione was cut off,

But before she said what she wanted to say, Viktor lunged forward, his movements swift and aggressive. His hands grasped her shoulders with a forceful grip, pinning her against the cold stone wall behind her.

"Viktor, stop!" Hermione cried out, her heart pounding in her chest as panic surged through her veins.

But Viktor paid no heed to her pleas, his eyes darkening with a predatory glint. With a rough motion, he pressed his lips against hers, his kiss demanding and invasive.

Hermione's mind reeled with shock and horror as she struggled against Viktor's relentless assault. Tears welled in her eyes as she fought to break free from his grasp, her breath coming in ragged gasps.

Suddenly, a voice rang out from the shadows, filled with fury and determination. "Get away from her, Krum!"

Harry Potter emerged from the darkness, his wand drawn and his eyes blazing with righteous anger. With a flick of his wrist, he sent a stunning spell hurtling towards Viktor, knocking him backward with a forceful impact.

Viktor stumbled and fell to the ground, his expression one of bewilderment and disbelief. But Harry wasted no time closing the distance between them, his gaze never leaving Hermione's frightened face.

"Are you alright, Hermione?" Harry asked, his voice soft and reassuring as he reached out to gently cup her cheek.

Hermione nodded shakily, tears streaming down her face as she clung to Harry's comforting embrace. "Thank you, Harry," she whispered, her voice choked with emotion. "I don't know what I would have done without you."

Harry held her close, his heart aching with a mixture of rage and sorrow. "You're safe now, Hermione," he said fiercely, his voice tinged with determination. "I'll always protect you, no matter what."

Together, they stood in the moonlit darkness, finding solace in each other's presence as they confronted the harsh reality of sexual assault. As they walked back to the safety of Hogwarts, they vowed to speak out against such atrocities, to support victims, and to fight for justice in a world plagued by darkness.

Hermione's voice trembled slightly as she recounted the harrowing ordeal with Viktor Krum, her words punctuated by the weight of the memories she carried. "Harry, it was terrifying," she began, her eyes reflecting the lingering fear. "He came at me so fast, and I didn't know what to do. I felt so helpless."

Harry's expression softened, his own eyes welling up with tears as he listened intently to Hermione's account. "I'm so sorry, Hermione," he whispered, his voice choked with emotion. "I should have been there sooner. I should have protected you."

Hermione embraced Harry in a warm hug, her arms wrapping tightly around him. "Oh, Harry, don't cry," she murmured soothingly, gently stroking his back. "You saved me, you know? If you hadn't been there, who knows what could have happened."

Feeling the weight of Hermione's words and the warmth of her embrace, Harry found solace in her reassurance. "Did he hurt you?" he asked softly, his concern evident in his voice.

Hermione nodded, her eyes downcast. "Yes, but I'm okay now," she replied, her voice barely above a whisper. "I'm just glad you were there to help me."

Without hesitation, Harry pulled Hermione closer, holding her tightly against him. "I love you, Hermione," he confessed, his voice filled with sincerity.

Hermione's heart swelled with emotion, and she leaned in to kiss Harry tenderly. "I love you too, Harry," she whispered against his lips, her words sealing the bond between them in that moment of shared vulnerability and strength.
