sorry the title is a bit long but I didn't know what else to put so deal with it also this was requested and sorry I didn't get to it sooner I was and still am swamped with homework and tests I have over 20 assignments due right now plus I had a presentation to give and I couldn't get out a single sentence without stuttering plus I have finals coming up plus babysitting my aunts little brats plus i'm out of all of my favorite foods so i'm sad cause I have to eat nasty mush and cheap ramen so I decided to combine the person's request of movie theater and park into one story because i'm lazy and also it's just easier to combine them saves me time and conserves what little energy I have rn hope you don't mind and if you do have an issue with it lmk and I can separate the stories sorry this note is so long love ya kiddos :]
Amity and Willow had been buzzing with excitement for days. They had a surprise planned for Luz, a day filled with fun activities to celebrate her stellar behavior. So, with grins plastered on their faces, they gathered around Luz. "Guess what, Luz?" Willow exclaimed, her eyes gleaming with excitement. Luz looked up from her legos, curiosity piqued. "wha?" she questioned head tilted, her expression practically asking the question before she did."We've got something super special planned for you!" Amity chimed in, unable to contain her excitement. Luz's eyes widened with anticipation. "Weally!! Whaz it!?!" she exclaimed excitedly flapping her arms up in the air.
Amity chuckled at Luz's enthusiastic reaction, her heart swelling with affection. "We're going to the movies!" she announced. Luz's face lit up with joy, her eyes shining with excitement as she screamed "Da moobies weally!?!" Amity grinned at Luz's exuberance, her own excitement growing with each passing moment. "Yes, really! And not just any movie, Luz. We're going to see the good witch Azura 7: the prophecy states" Luz's eyes widened even further, if that was possible, her excitement reaching new heights as she jumped up exclaiming, "lez go! lez go!!" and attempting to drag her caregivers out the door only for Willow to fondly say, "not yet you have to get dressed first silly wouldn't wanna go in just your pull-up would you?" Luz stopped in her tracks, her excitement momentarily dampened by the reminder. "oh..." she looked down at her current attire before running off to dressed. Amity and Willow exchanged amused glances as Luz dashed off to get dressed, her excitement palpable in every step.
Once Luz was out of sight, they turned to each other, their faces still glowing with joy. "She's going to love today," Amity said, her voice filled with warmth. Willow nodded in agreement, "I can't wait to see her face when the movie starts. " As they waited for Luz to get dressed, Amity and Willow began to prepare for their outing. They packed a small bag with snacks, water bottles, and a change of clothes for Luz, just in case. They also made sure to bring Luz's favorite stuffed animal, a small, fluffy dragon named Sparky, which she never went anywhere without.
"Mami Tia(aunt) lookie!!" She squealed as she rushed down the stairs excitedly. "Awe good job baby you got dressed all by yourself today" Amity praised. The outfit didn't exactly match, it being a purple striped shirt with a bright pink tutu, rainbow leggings, socks with little bugs on them and a witches hat that was hanging sideways but, it was adorable nonetheless. "alrighty lets get your shoes on then we can go" "Wain boots!! Wan' wain boots!!" Amity knelt down to help Luz put on her rain boots, chuckling at her excitement. "Rain boots it is!" she agreed, slipping them onto Luz's feet.
With Luz dressed and ready to go, they headed out the door, Luz practically bouncing with anticipation. Before they made their way to the movie theater, Amity checking the time and seeing that the movie didn't start for a bit, suggested they stop by the park for a quick play session before the movie. Luz's eyes sparkled with excitement at the idea, and she eagerly agreed. "yay!! park!! yay!!" she squealed skipping down the sidewalk.
At the park, Luz ran ahead, her laughter echoing through the air as she raced towards the swings. Amity and Willow followed closely behind, watching fondly as Luz giggled and squealed as she swung back and forth. As Luz swung higher and higher, her laughter mingling with the rustle of leaves overhead, Amity and Willow couldn't help but smile at the sight. The park was alive with the sounds of children playing and the gentle breeze rustling through the trees, creating a perfect backdrop for their impromptu adventure. The sun cast dappled patterns through the leaves as Luz swung back and forth, her laughter filling the air like music. Amity and Willow couldn't help but be swept up in the joyous atmosphere of the park, their hearts swelling with love for the spirited little girl who brought so much light into their lives.
Luz quickly grew bored of the swings, opting to explore the muddy areas around the park. Suddenly, Amity's heart skipped a beat as she noticed Luz crouched down near a bush, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "What have you found, Luz?" Amity called out, her voice tinged with concern. Luz turned to Amity with a wide grin, holding up something small and slithering in her hands. "Lookie, Mami Tia, it's a snake!" she exclaimed, her eyes shining with delight. Amity's eyes widened in alarm as she hurried over to Luz, her heart pounding in her chest. "Luz, be careful! It could be dangerous," she warned, her voice tinged with worry. But Luz's face fell, her excitement fading as she looked up at Amity with a hint of disappointment. "But Mami Tia, it's just a little snake. It's not scary," she protested, her bottom lip trembling slightly. "it might not look scary to you but it could be poisonous" Then just as Amity was trying to wrestle the snake out of Luz's hands, a voice could be heard shouting, "Sir Slithers where are you?!?" Luz's face lt up as she squealed out, "sissy look I foun' em'!!"
As Luz's excited voice pierced the air, Amity's heart skipped a beat. She looked up to see Vee, Luz's sister, rushing toward them with a mix of relief and concern etched on her face. "Luz! Where did you find him?" Vee exclaimed, her eyes scanning the area frantically. "he waz in da san'box I tol' mami he wasn' scawy buh she got scawed" Vee chuckled softly, her worry dissipating as she looked at Luz's happy face. "Well, it's a good thing you found him. We wouldn't want Sir Slithers to get lost," she said, giving Luz a kiss on the forehead, before taking the snake from her. "no more running off mister" she scolded the snake who just stuck out his tongue at her, Luz giggled sticking her tongue out too. "We should probably head to the movies now, Luz," Amity suggested, gently guiding Luz away from the bush and towards the path leading out of the park. Luz's face lit up with excitement once again, her eyes shining with anticipation. "Yay, da moobies!" she exclaimed, bouncing ahead with renewed enthusiasm, before turning back exclaiming a quick, "bye sissy! bye snakey!!"
As they began to make their way out of the park, Luz skipped ahead, her laughter trailing behind her like a melody. The sun was warm on their faces as they walked, the promise of the day's adventures ahead filling them with anticipation. Luz chattered excitedly about the movie, her imagination already running wild with thoughts of witches and wizards. As they approached the movie theater, Luz's excitement reached a fever pitch. She practically danced on the sidewalk, her eyes darting eagerly from side to side as she took in the bustling street around them.
They arrived at the movie theater and were immediately greeted by the smell of popcorn and the sound of excited chatter. Luz's eyes grew even wider as she took in the sight of the large posters of her favorite characters from the Good Witch Azura series. Amity and Willow shared a knowing glance, their own excitement mirroring Luz's. Today was going to be a day to remember, filled with laughter, love, and countless precious moments.
Amity bought the tickets while Willow took Luz to the restroom for a quick pit stop. When they returned, Amity was waiting with the tickets and a large tub of popcorn. Luz's eyes lit up at the sight of the popcorn, her excitement reaching a new peak. They found their seats in the theater, Luz carefully holding onto her popcorn and Sparky. As the previews started, Luz's eyes were glued to the screen, her little hands clutching her popcorn tightly. When the movie finally started, Luz's face was a picture of pure joy and wonder. But then, half-way through the movie Luz started to drift off, head lulling about sleepily searching for a place to lay before finally settling on Amity's shoulder. Amity blushed saying,"awe she's so cute" as she saw Luz cutely sleeping on Willow's shoulder whilst sucking on her pacifier. Amity couldn't help but smile at Luz's adorable sleeping form. "yeah we should have fun days like this more often" Willow said softly as she smiled at luz's sleeping form.
The movie ended as they continued to talk, Luz, still fast asleep, lay nestled against Willow's shoulder, her soft breaths barely audible over the fading sounds of the movie. Usually, they wouldn't allow Luz to nap for more than an hour, but considering she had missed her usual naptime and it had been a long, eventful day, they decided to let her sleep a little longer than usual. Willow gently scooped Luz up cradling her sleeping form in her arms like a precious treasure. Every movement was deliberate, every touch gentle, so as not to disturb Luz's peaceful slumber. Together, they made their way out of the theater, Luz snuggled close to Willow's chest, her little hands clutching her plush toy, Sparky tightly even in her sleep. Outside, the evening air was cool and refreshing, a gentle breeze rustling through the trees as they made their way home.
They got home quickly putting Luz to bed, both yawning from the exhausting day they'd had. "Maybe we need a nap too" Willow joked a playful glint in her eyes as they exchanged knowing smiles. With Luz safely nestled in bed, they allowed themselves a moment to relax, feeling the weariness of the day begin to catch up with them. As they settled in for a well-deserved rest, the quiet of home enveloped them like a warm embrace, offering solace and peace after a day filled with love and laughter.
