"That's another thing, it be soooo sad when you think about it. We basically had everything together and I was finna have their last name, then it all went left." She immediately huffed

"That baby is so cute and chunky." Hali said
Summer appeared at my feet, causing me to jump and look at her. "Why your light bright ass coming up on me, looking Spiderus." I bent down, picking her up

When I was slick listening to Onyx, I was standing out the door against the wall
Since Onyx definitely heard us, I walked into the room and went into her walk-in closet where she was, sitting on the floor
I sat on the floor near her with Summer in my lap, trying to tug on my dreads

My phone that was in my pocket dinged, so I pulled it out. I sighed, seeing that it was a message from Indira
"What the fuck now?" I said under my breath

Now here comes the hard part, I lied... I fucking lied because I really do love you. I'm pregnant, but the baby isn't yours. I can't keep holding onto this lie just because I'm in love with you and you were going to find out either way, I rather tell you now before it messy. I'm getting an abortion soon though, if you care.
My whole facial expression changed and I was so blowed, I didn't even decide to reply and put my phone back in my pocket
Onyx stood up, walking out of the closet to the sink. "Toys!" Summer yelled, indicating she wanted me to take her back to the living room where she was when I was watching her
I stood my foot and picked her up, walking out the room to the living room
I got majority of her toys and turned off the TV, taking her into the room. I cut on the TV for her as Onyx came out the bathroom, laying down
"Hm." I passed Summer her toys, making her smile
I plopped down in between Onyx's legs. "What are you trying to do?" She looked at me suspiciously

"Nun, just read this shit." I passed her my phone with my jaw clenched and I put my head down, thinking to myself

Aside from the message, I seen that she ordered food off my card. "Why would you do that?" I looked at her

I stopped her from talking by pinching her lips together. "Why would you order food off my account." I sucked my teeth
"Move." She swatted my hand away

"You just ate, you must be pregnant." I said in a joking way, but was trying to get her to tell me
"What? No the fuck I'm not." She frowned up, giving me a weird look
"I'm just playing, bruh." I scooted up, putting my head on her stomach
"You lowkey trying to call me big." She flipped the switch
"You and your daughter eat a bitch out a house, home, and an apartment."
"We don't eat that much." I sucked my teeth
"Did you at least get me some?" I questioned, already knowing that she got Summer something, but what about me?
"Nope." She said, then I shook my head
"I got a question." I said
"Yeah?" She looked at me, looking guilty as charged
"You wanna move in together?"
"It depends." She shrugged
"Can you just tell me what plans you got for us in the future? How you want things to be in the future as a family, as for you, and as for our relationship." I requested
"Well, for me I just want to expand my craft and that's it. I don't have any fucked up parts about my life that needs improvement, I just want more money." She kept it simple
"As for us? I obviously want to take steps forward like marriage, another baby, and more."
Little did she know, I was already planning a proposal since the day we got back together
"And for our family? I want us all under the same roof in a house we can call home." She said, indicating that she wanted to get a house together
"So basically you wanna move in together, marriage, and another baby?" I clarified
"Yeah, I guess." She fidgeted with her fingers
"When you wanna have another baby?" I kept trying to get her to tell me
"Like in two years from now, Summer would be about four years old, that'll be a cool age gap."
"Four years?" I questioned
"Yeah." She nodded
"Why not now?" I asked
"Summer can be too much at times and it'll be a lot to take on, it's nothing I can't handle, but I rather have things easier."
I squinted at her and stood up, then walked to the door. "Come here." I motioned for her to come
She slowly got out of the bed, then walked out with me. I closed the room door all the way
"Onyx." I put my hands on her shoulder
"Why you like fronting in my face, I know you pregnant. You scared assum?" I asked in a comforting tone
Immediately, she fell into my arms and began to cry. "Look at me, look at me." I grabbed her face and wiped her tears with her thumb
"This will be the easiest pregnancy of your life, I got this. I got you, Summer, and our baby."
"Maceon, the only thing is..." She began with a sigh and a sad look on her face
"I'm not fucking pregnant, stop listening to my conversations, dumb ass heffer." She mugged me and walked swiftly past me back into the room
I was standing there dumbfounded, so she knew I was listening this whole time
"How the hell you knew?" I asked her, following behind
"The second I was on the phone, I heard your big ass feet and I knew Summer wasn't playing with you no more because she wasn't giggling." She elaborated, putting her hand to my fast
