"Mrs. Boo! Auntie!" Mingyu exclaimed waving frantically as he ran toward her near the garden in front of her house where she was picking weeds.
"Mingyu?" Mrs. Boo immediately recognized the familiar voice.
"Yup! The one and only!"
"Oh my! It really is you! When did you get back?" Mrs. Boo stood up smiling to give him a hug.
"Just yesterday. How have you been Auntie?"
"I'm doing okay, dear. Nothing much changed. I just got older." Mrs. Boo chuckled.
"Oh nonsense, you haven't aged a day!" Mingyu unhugged her with a big smile. "by the way I have a little something for you!"
"Oh, you shouldn't have! You're always so sweet!"
Seungcheol who came with Mingyu only stared up the house for Jeonghan.
"Say Auntie, is Han ready?" Seungcheol asked staring at the second floor as though he was in a trance.
"Right! You two have been going to work ever since he sprained his leg. Well, he left earlier this morning. It was Jisoo who picked him up. Didn't he tell you?" Mrs. Boo explained.
"Is that so..." Seungcheol looked at the ground sadly before he glared at Mingyu. "We'll just go ahead then..."
"W-What? Why are you looking at me like that?" Mingyu shrinking back.
"Alright, you two remember to drop when you're not busy okay?" Mrs. Boo smiled.
"Will do, Auntie!"

Jeonghan, Jisoo, and Seokmin were in Jisoo's car getting breakfast.
"Here you go, sir. Enjoy!" The lady handed them the coffees in their holders.
"Thanks!" Seokmin beamed pulling it into the car as they drove through the drive-through.
"So, you guys do this every morning?" Jeonghan asked sitting in the back seat right in the middle with Jisoo driving and Seokmin sitting in the passenger seat beside Jisoo.
"Only when there's time to spare." Seokmin sipped on his coffee handing Jeonghan his before helping Jisoo drink his.
"Yeah, but we usually eat in and have breakfast dates." Jisoo smiled looking at Jeonghan from the rear-view mirror.
"Sorry, I guess you can't do that today because of me." Jeonghan felt like a third wheel.
"Nah, don't say that it's nice that you could join us for a change. I'm kinda curious though, did anything happen with you and Cheol?" Jisoo asked.
"N-No I just sorta feel out-of-place being in the middle of two best friends."
"Oh, so you've met him?" Seokmin cocked an eyebrow.
"This is that Mingyu guy, right?" Jisoo continued driving.
"Yeah, they invited me to dinner and Mingyu was... Umm... How should I put it... He was... Alright." Jeonghan groaned looking away. "Min, I know you're good friends with him so I'd rather not comment any further."
"Hahaha!"
"What's so funny?"
"I'm not surprised you also didn't like Cheol the first time, right? Mingyu is a lot like Cheol when you first meet him. Loug, gregarious, a little too friendly..." Seokmin laughed.
"Cheol is a genuine! On the other hand, Mingyu is a disingenuous know-it-all!"
"Pfft—What happened to knot commenting on him anymore?"
"W-Wha I mean is, I'm someone who can see through all that nice guy act. I don't think I can trust him so easily."
"I don't blame you. He comes off like that at first. But in all honesty, he really isn't all that bad is you give him the chance." Seokmin smiled.
"Hmph! We'll see about that."
"By the way, I meant to ask you something..." Seokmin turned to look at Jeonghan. "Last night when you were having dinner with them... Did you guys talk about Chan? Was he ever mentioned by Cheol?"
"Hmm... Come to think of it..." Jeonghan searched his memory. "...No, he was never mentioned, why do you ask?"
"I see... I'm guessing he still doesn't know." Seokmin gulped looking forward.
Jeonghan snapped understanding. "Wait, you mean Mingyu doesn't know about Chan?"
"He did say he was going to tell Mingyu now that he's home."
"Still, aren't they supposed to be super close? Chan is almost four."
"Yes, Chan is almost four, but it hasn't been even a year since Cheol found out about his existence. It's the grandparents who told Cheol about Chan when the mom suddenly left."
"It's that complicated? Cheol never mentioned that. So, the mom never wanted Cheol to be involved but now she's gone? Why?" Jeonghan asked.
"Beats me. That's all I know and as much as I'd like to help, Cheol won't open up about it. He acts like it's no big deal but it's clear that this whole situation has been weighing on him. I thought maybe if it's Minyu, he'd open up a bit more... But it seems like he's having a hard time breaking the news to him too."
"Well, if it's Mingyu who he trusts the most... I guess it's not so bad that he's here. Maybe he can do something."
Jisoo spotted one familiar figure walking beside an unknown one. "Speaking of which, it's them!"
"Yeah! Stop the car! I'll get off here!" Seokmin exclaimed busting out of the door.
"Okay!"

"Tell me the truth Mingyu. What really happened last night?" Seungcheol asked walking with Mingyu down the street.
"I told you he's the one bullying me! Why are you taking his side?" Mingyu protested.
"Because Han wouldn't be mean to someone for no reason, It must be something you did!" Seungcheol reasoned.
"There is a reason but it's not something I did!"
"And that is?"
"Why don't you try asking him? Maybe he'll tell you."
"You can't tell me, but he can?"
"Precisely! Even if he's not a terrible person to me, I'm not dropping him just like that." Mingyu posed as the good guy.
"What the hell are you talking about?"
"MINGYU!" Seokmin yelled sprinting down the street.
"MIN!" Mingyu turned to Seokmin with the brightest smile.
"You're finally back! God, what took you so long?!" Seokmin pounced on Mingyu.
"This is exactly why! I didn't want to face the fact that I'm not the most handsome in our friend group anymore!" Mingyu brought Seokmin into a headlock and pulled on his cheek.
"Hahaha! You should have seen it coming!"
"But seriously you look great!"
"Thanks, man, you too."
"..." Seungcheol looked around to find the car he was looking for parked a few feet away from him. He walked over to the car and knocked on the window looking at Jeonghan inside.
Knock! Knock!
"Cheol!" Jeonghan blushed pulling down the window.
"Morning..." Seungcheol smiled.
"Oh hey, Cheol..."
"We doing, okay?"
"Yeah..." Jeonghan gulped scratching his head nervously. "look about last night... You know how my mouth gets the better of me sometimes, right?
"Yeah! I totally understand!" Mingyu popped up with a thumbs-up and a big smile.
"W-Wah!"
"I was just telling Cheol how it's just a big misunderstanding."
"Ah yes, of course. That's what it is." Jeonghan smirked in annoyance.
"And we're totally cool with each other now, right?" Mingyu smirked back caressing his chin. "It's such a shame we had to cut our conversation short though... Hopefully, we'll get to continue it soon."
Seungcheol smiled.
Jeonghan glanced at him pouting.
"Yeah sure, friend." Jeonghan rolled up the window. "Bye, Cheol."
Jisoo drove away with Jeonghan.
"See all fixed. You were worrying for nothing." Mingyu gave a light-hearted laugh.
"You sure? He didn't even say goodbye to you." Seungcheol gave Mingyu a side-eye.
"He did it in his heart, I could feel it."
"Whatever you say Mingyu. Whatever you say." Seungcheol sighed.
