I woke up the next morning, gladly from my own bed, feeling pretty dizzy and a bit sick. Who thinks it's a good idea to throw a party in the middle of a school week. I slowly sat up and drank the at least two weeks old water from my bedside table to sober up. I had absolutely no memory from last night except I had a lot of fun and alcohol. I was also confused because I had no idea how and when I got home. I decided to take a show before leaving so I would look a bit more decent at school.
I finished taking a shower and went to my room to get dressed. When I looked at myself in the mirror I noticed something that I definitely don't remember. Besides my dark under eyes, I had my neck full of red and purple marks. I quickly checked that I didn't have them anywhere else. Thank god not. But the bigger question is, who made them?
I kept thinking about yesterday while dressing up and trying to remember who I was making out in that dimly lit bedroom, since my mind had started to sober up. Then I remembered.
What the fuck was going on in my mind then?
I was so frustrated and embarrassed. I still had no idea how it had happened and how I managed to get myself in that situation. I didn't even have time to find makeup and cover it up so I just put the hood on and hope that too many wouldn't notice. I took an apple from the kitchen, put my shoes on and left the house quickly.

I was already late and didn't even bother going to my first class so I was just waiting for my friends in the school garden and listening to music. I soon felt a playful slap on my back and Donghyuck, Renjun and Jisung appeared next to me.
"Well you look sober don't you. How did I get home yesterday?" I said when they sat down next to me.
"Says you by the way. We dropped you off at 2am so you wouldn't go with a total stranger. And why do you have the hood on bro, cheer up!" Donghyuck replied and removed the hood, revealing all the hickeys on my neck. He stared at them with a disturbed look.
"Damn how far did you guys go?" Renjun jumped to the conversation. What the hell? Did he know?
"He was the last person I expected to see you making out with ." Jisung also stated. Not him too. I quickly pulled the hood back on my head and went all red. Before I even had a chance to say anything, Donghyuck opened his mouth:
"Wait, you guys knew and didn't tell me? And who the fuck was it?"
Renjun looked at Jisung and let out a little giggle.
"It was Jeno." Jisung told him while holding in his laughter. Donghyuck's jaw dropped and he turned to look at me. I had covered my face and literally wanted to scream my lungs out. Out of everyone who was there, it had to be Lee fucking Jeno.
"Fucking hell Na Jaemin, Jeno? The Lee Jeno that has been bullying us for god knows how long? Oh my god, what happened to hating him." Donghyuck started fussing and I told him to shut up so I could finally speak.
"First of all, I was very drunk. In what universe I would do something like that with him if I was actually conscious. Even thinking about him boils my noodles. Gosh, I actually fucking hate him!" I explained, full of embarrassment and anger.
"Hate him or ate him?" Renjun said and started laughing with Jisung.
"And how did you asswipes even know what the hell?" I questioned them and was really close to pushing them to the bush.
"We were trying to find the bathroom and ended up opening the door to the bedroom you were in, getting eaten by that dickhead. You were so into it, your arms wrapped around his neck and god knows what, that we couldn't even recognise you first. Decided to leave you guys there without interrupting whatever was going on." Jisung explained but it felt more like teasing at this point. I kicked him softly on the stomach and gave him a death stare.
"Don't say anything anymore, I don't want to hear it." I snapped at him. Worst part is that I still have to do the project with him, and that I told him to come over to my house to do it today since my parents are away. It's going to be so awkward and I really have to keep my shit together before I'm going to murder him, because now I remembered exactly what happened and that he was definitely the one who started it. I wonder what's going on in his mind.

I was walking to my last class, knowing after that I would have to face and talk to Jeno. I seriously had no idea what I should say to him, should we talk about it or does he even remember what happened.
Suddenly I bumped into someone, and because it's my luck, of course it had to be the boy I was just thinking about. I had to stare at his neck, that was not covered in any way, that looked just like mine. This just keeps getting worse. I honestly will start questioning my whole life soon. Did I make those?
"Watch where you're going." Jeno scoffed and quickly glanced at my neck before leaving. He went to his friends that weren't far away. I rolled my eyes to his attitude and kept walking like the unbothered king I am. Although I was a bit bothered right now.

The last class went a bit too quickly. I stared at the clock that was now 2:59pm. I promised to meet Jeno after school at the parking lot so we could go over to my house. I know, I did ask him to come there and stuff but I still don't like him. Just for the project and for the sake of my English grade.
The clock hit 3:00pm and the teacher dismissed us. Great, this is when the 'fun' begins. Can't wait.
I exited the school and sat down on a bench near the parking lot. He could find me there perfectly fine. Before Jeno was there, Johnny and Taeyong came over to me.
"I told you it has to be him!" Johnny said to his friend. I raised my eyebrow, not expecting what Taeyong would say next. He sat down next to me and started looking at my neck.
"Did Jeno do these for you, he also had a couple of these on him." He asked and turned his gaze from my neck to my eyes. For god's sake if Jeno said anything about that to his friends.
"I- uhm.. it's uh-" I started to stutter and went all red. Now what the hell am I supposed to tell them. If I say he did, they're going to remind me about it for the rest of my life and if I say he didn't, I feel like they won't believe me.
"Cut the crap, let's go." Jeno appeared right at the moment I was about to open my mouth. He pulled me up and quickly dragged me away from Johnny and Taeyong.
"So it's true?" Taeyong yelled after us. I tried my best to ignore them but I knew that by tomorrow, the whole school would probably know.

It was a quiet walk, as expected. I've never seen Jeno this calm and quiet as now. I really wanted to break the silence but I felt like whatever I would say, it would make it more awkward.
We arrived at my house after a long, very silent trip. I suggested we would just go to my room and get started with the project. He agreed.
"Wish you would be as nice as your house." Jeno said while looking around. I honestly didn't know if I should take it as a compliment or as an insult.
"Me? Ain't no way you're saying that like you're a nice person and haven't been bullying me for ages." I scoffed and led him to my room upstairs.
"I was pretty nice for not telling anyone about yesterday." He smiled with innocent looking eyes. Why was he so calm about it?
"You're a very weird person." I snorted. In a weird way, I somehow felt some kind of warmness in my heart when I saw him smile. It was a feeling I couldn't really explain, but I had never experienced anything like that.
We got started with the project and it wasn't as awkward as I thought it would be. We were mostly quiet, maybe said a couple words sometimes but it was really peaceful.
"I should probably get going, my dad's going to murder me if I'm not home by 11:00pm. I got grounded for a month for going to the party." Jeno said and closed his laptop.
"Shit, is it that late already." I checked the time and it was 10:45pm.
"But why did you get grounded for such a small thing? Were they ever even young and had fun like this?" I questioned. I do get the point, but getting grounded for a whole month because of a harmless party?
"I guess it's not really about the party. My dad said I should focus on school and not drinking and relationships, especially with, you know, guys." He mumbled and started packing his stuff. I guess Jeno's dad had also noticed the hickeys but I had no idea how he knew it was made by a guy. It was obviously not my business but I did feel a bit bad for Jeno.
"I'll get going, come over tomorrow so we can start finishing up the project." He said and left with a little sad, anxious look on his face.
He looked fine until he had to mention his dad. Is everything okay at his house? Has his dad done something to him? And what about his mom, what is she doing then?

HI HELLO HOW ARE YOU?? I don't really have anything else to say except I have written now 10 chapters in total and I think there might be 12-15 chapters overall, if I have any ideas for filler chapters. The ending is already planned by the way.
Also little spoilers: the upcoming chapters will contain fluff, some sexual stuff, maybe a bit angst and I'm trying to fit in more of the side ships too😇
