KALE instantly furrowed his eyebrows as he slapped his forehead a few times, as if he's trying to remember who Rosalie was. "Rosalie Meadows? Yeah, I'm competitors with her."

"Did you hear the news?..." Jennie trails off as Kale slurred, feeling his vision just spinning as he held his head, hissing. He blinked a few times, looking thoughtful.

"I heard the news, alright. Poor her, she's a little annoying and all, but I wouldn't be wishing death upon her." His voice was a bit too sad for an acquaintance that she's looking at him suspicious.

"Heck, main reason why I'm here." Kale further asked, slurring further, and then he grappled a bottle of Bubbly Blossom (a white frothy type of wine with Gamay and has a history of ten centuries). It has such a strong and nice taste and can knock out a person if you drink too many at once. As Jennie stared at him in confusion, all the gears in her head started spinning quickly in order to think.

Heck, main reason why I'm here.

Jennie furrowed her eyebrows. What on earth does he even mean by the short but confusing sentence? Why is he in a club? Because of Rosalie? But why?!

"Why are you here anyway? Rosalie?!" She asked, hoping she didn't seem she's being too nosy but sucked in a breath as Kale turned to her, frowning.

He suddenly bursted into giggles, raising the Bubbly Blossom bottom. "Try some or else I wouldn't tell you."

Jennie nearly retched! He's blackmailing her! She nervously giggled, the bottle in her hands. There was one main problem not many people even knew about her...it's a fact she has low alcohol intolerance and the fact it's already strong.

But she badly needed an answer from him and dejectedly poured the wine into a cup and once the smell hit her nose, it curled. A strong but nice smell hit her nostrils as she's already feeling dizzy already.

So she forced a smile and drank it all in a go and the cup smacked against the table as the vision spins madly, already going a bit red. Jennie flayed her arms about and she breathed softly. "I...did...it."

"The reason why I'm here....is because we have a past together...!" Kale retched and in a millisecond, passed out instantly. As Jennie groans, standing up, her figure was clumsy and she nearly tripped on the way out, finding the dizziness increasing more as a blur of colors flashed.

Suddenly, someone pulled her and she has blinked, trying to figure out who was it, groping their face.

"Argh, Jennie!" A familiar voice drifts to her ears and she gasped a little, shocked that it was actually Theodore and swayed.

"Jennie?!! Where have you been and are you drunk?!" He roared at her as Jennie was struggling and let out a tiny burb as she giggled, forcing herself out of his own hold.

"I saw Dj..." She trailed off, then laughing madly that Theodore frowns at her. "His name...is Kale and he's inside..." She adds as she gave him up his description, flaying on the dance floor.

"Jennie?! Are you drunk?!" Lisa came to them, looking at Jennie in shock that she will actually drink.

"Me?!" Jennie pointed to herself, having a incredulous face. "No! Why would I be? I have low alcohol intolerance!"

"Fantastic!" Theodore growled. "Lisa, she has found Dj and he's inside. Go and take a picture of him..." He told her the same description of Kale and Lisa nodded, as she fiddles with her camera, going away.

"I asked him about Rosalie's death and he said it was the main reason he's in here in the night. He said they have a past before, and I don't know what." Jennie stabilized herself as Theodore gently pushed her to seat down, passing by Christian, Jackson and Roseanne who are dancing decently on the dance floor, having consumed two shots of alcohol each.

Jennie burped a little, and giggled.

"Oh my god, did she drank alcohol?" It's Roseanne that was asking with shock and she went over to them, ruffling her hair as a fond smile appeared on her face.

"What's up with Jennie and alcohol?" Theodore asked, frowning but eased down as Jennie looked at her palm, looking at it with squinted eyes, her cute expression is not fitting with the liveliness of Sunset. As he laughs, pondering the fact, she begin to start counting with her fingers.

"She has low alcohol tolerance so she has preferred to stay away from alcohol when she founds out. When she drank alcohol for the first time, it was chaos ever since." Roseanne asked, softly giggling as she'd remembered how Jennie gone mad and she even tried to strip off her clothes to dance on a table. "Where's Lili?"

"Jennie found Dj, his actual name is Kale so Lisa went to take a picture of him." The man in front of her answered so she shrug off her shoulders, pursing her lips.

"I'm back." Lisa came back. "We're going to wait for the photo to come out." She is raising her camera, signaling Jackson and Christian to come over. Theodore told his friends what happened and they huddled up together as Lisa took out of the photo from the slot.

"Wow, he's crazily handsome, even still in photos." Lisa slurred, almost drunk as she whistles and Jackson frowned toward her, an eye twitching.

"He really is handsome!" Jennie giggled as she burps once again. Theodore didn't have an opportunity to become jealous as she became quiet, her eyes droopy just a little, signaling she's sleepy.

"Great." Theodore grappled for his phone, taking the photo of Kale with his phone. "I am going to send this to Joelle. Our work here is done. We can't investigate him not just yet."

Everyone bundled out of Sunset, a sleepily tired Jennie, leaning against Theodore as he put her in the car, moving the seatbelt over her and smiling tenderly that his own two friends looked at each other once again.

But what they didn't notice was a fuming person, staring at them with glaringly eyes  as the car moved from the parking lot of Sunset.

...

Roseanne groaned, being awakened by a certain sound, her phone. She moved her tired eyes up at the ceiling as her hand is grabbing her phone, looking at the caller ID.

Huh? Why is Mom calling me so early in the morning? It's just seven. Roseanne is thinking in her head, swiping the icon; the green one and pressing it to her ear as she sat up, hoping her father was okay.

"Mom, good morning." She said quickly as she didn't bother to wait for her mother to say something. "Is this about Dad?! Is he okay? I know I've been harsh to him but I really care and love him and—"

"ROSIE! YOU'RE SPEAKING QUICKLY! ALLOW ME TO SAY SOMETHING!" Her mother yelled loudly over the phone and she shut up, feeling that something bad happened as she slipped to her slippers, getting up slowly.

She heard her mother's breathing being so raspy and fast that her heart thumped in her chest so painfully yet slowly that she felt like she's falling into a deep sleep as she felt her vision being blurry. Just for a minute, she felt like throwing her phone on the floor and go find Christian but her feet was just rooted to the floor, unable to move.

"Rosie..." Her mother finalized. "He..."

"What happened to Dad?! Tell me!!" She managed to scream at her mother, urging herself not to break down.

"Rosie, your father...he's dead." Natasha Meadows finalized with a tremble to her voice and Roseanne felt like the earth is slipping away under her feet. She felt like she was dead, unable to speak or move. A loose grasp was all it takes for her phone to crash on the floor, shattering into big mere pieces but she didn't care, sliding to her knees, just quiet.

Rosie, your father...he's dead. Natasha's voice rang in her mind and she felt like a rag doll being used again and again until she felt useless. Her knees cradled up to her chest, feeling the burdened words just repeating over and over again.

She realized something. Yes, she loves and cares for her father, despite being a thorn in his side, often seen as careless or even reckless but responsible and matured in his eyes. She really had no idea why her own father seemed to favor Rosalie over her. What has she done wrong that her actions were lower than Rosalie?! She's hotheaded and is more likely to act than think unlike Rosalie, but she's free and was even an ambassador for Tiffany&Co. Maybe her father knew Rosalie's state of depression and realized he should take a good care about her, neglecting Roseanne in the process. The thought made her feel useless and angry, even. What was she, a potato? She's a darned living human with feelings and emotions and a personality!! But...at the end of the day, Marcus, a cold man, was still her dear father, who looked out for her, loved her even before things went downhill.

As she relished this, a quiet cry burst out of her throat. It was raw and unpleasant, but she didn't care because in the next two minutes, she was bawling like a toddler in the middle of her room, fists clenched as her eyes was reddened and swollen and it didn't help her vision either. It was blurry but through the blur, she could make out five people crowding out, a mass of great moving colors and she wasn't surprised to recognize Christian Right away.

"Rosie." He called out, his voice soft that it hurt her and touched her the same. It's so baffling that he mattered a lot to her as his presence made her feel safe and warm that he didn't want to let him go, ever. She could see something with him. "Rose, why are you crying? What's the matter?" He'd tried again, the blur fading a bit. It looked like they didn't hear the news. She smiled painfully, tears still falling.

"My dad...he's dead." She said calmly but a raw sob rocked through her and there, it came the endless waterworks once again.

Silence...

But it took one comforting hug from the man she trusted and liked so much, and she stopped, feeling like a baby, just in his arms. She could sense something emitting from his touch.

Everthing is going to be okay.

It said.
