Chapter VIII:
"I knew this would finally happen." He said winking at her. "Shut up." She said, pushing him aside.
Walter took Colette by the arm and hugged her.
"So, what is your next move?"
Colette shrugged. She did not want to reveal her strategies in front of anyone in this life. Learning through her mistakes and trials, she knew that some people just wante to tear you apart.
"Come on. Tell me."
"No, Walter." She paused. "You know what I need?"
"What?" He smiled so happily.
"A therapist."
"Therapy is just paying for friends." He laughed.
"No, seriously."
"Well, I can be your friend." He raised a hand for a high five.
"Come on. Don't let me down." He said smiling from ear to ear giddily.
"Well..." She began.
"Raphael had been drugging me, and it killed my child. The child wasn't Raphael's - I think he never wanted that baby."
"Holy.... cow."
"This is why people pay for therapy." She rolled her eyes.
"Well, you know how you can get him back?"
"How?"
"By letting it go."
