Their hunger for power and belonging causes their judgment to be clouded at the expense of their curly-haired enemy. They just cannot simply be distracted or fall behind.
So when Freya is introduced to the tragic truth of Godolkin University during her following year at the school, she has no choice but to team up with Jordan Li along with Marie Moreau, Andre Anderson, Cate Dunlap, and Emma Meyers when the 'golden boy' Luke Riordan mysteriously murders his professor and kills himself.
In this stunning twist of events, she manages to fall for someone— her enemy nonetheless.
