Josie sat in the hospital with Morgan and Jace. Her father was back in the hospital due to complications, her father has been on remission for a while, but she already knows the cancer has came back. "How are you holding up pop? Josie asked.
"Your old man is fine, just need some food in my system" he said.
"After we run some tests you'll definitely be able to eat something" his nurse said. Josie looked over at Morgan. "You okay? She asked. Morgan nodded "Yeah, I'm fine" she said. "So what's the plan? Josie asked.
"A doctor should be in here after we get some labs and testing done .. okay" she said. Josie sighed "Okay" she said watching her leave. "Don't start worrying, I'm going to be fine like I always am" he ensured her. Josie looked at her text message that's been on delivered for almost two hours from Ricky. "This man needs to answer the phone" she said under her breath.
Ricky
Ricky was at the loft having lunch with Kamaya that decided to randomly visit him. "It's nice to see you here, you don't fuck with your big brother like that huh? He asked. Kamaya rolled her eyes "That's far from the truth.. I don't know I just feel like I was under ya'll alot when I was with Rudy.. bored I guess. Now I have a life" she said. Ricky looked at his phone, realizing he didn't text Josie back.
"Sorry baby I was meeting, then Kamaya popped up on me. Everything okay?
He put his phone back in his pocket "I'm happy for you" he said.
"Thanks bro" she looked around. "It's nice in here.. haven't been here since Cortez's birthday.. lots of changes" she said.
"Yeah, we try and you know since its fashion week, we gotta stay ready" he said. Kamaya nodded her head while tearing up her house salad. "You fuckin that shit up, you eating for two? He asked. Kamaya laughed "Uhhhh no" she said. "So why are you really here? You don't really pop up on nobody" Ricky said
"Damn Ricky Im just saying hi, I flew to Newyork to help my homeboy cast for his fashion show. I did some shopping now I'm here" she explained
"Okay bet, I believe you" he said. He grabbed his phone looking at his message.
Mrs.Santana ♥️: My dad is in the hospital just so you know.
"Hold on Maya" he said getting up. He called Josie waiting for her to pick up.
"Hey baby"
"Hey, what's going on with your dad? Ricky asked
"He was coughing really bad the other day just looking pale and week so his girlfriend brought him to the hospital. It's too early to tell but it sounds like his cancer probably is back" Josie sighed.
"Damn... I'm sorry bae.. you need me to come? He asked.
"No, I'm fine gonna get him comfortable drop off Jace to his father and then we'll be home" she said
"Okay well let me know if anything changes"
"Love you"
"Love you too"
The both of them hung up. Ricky sat back down debating if he should just drop everything and check on his wife. "Josie's father is in the hospital again" he said
"Oh nooo is she okay? She asked
"She said she's fine but I know she's stressing so.. I'll probably check on her shortly" he said
"Aww Im so proud of you bro, you've really came a long way" she smiled.
"Preciate that" he said.
"Yeah" she said getting quiet again. Ricky was waiting for Kamaya to vent to him. She thinks she can hide what's on her mind. "What's wrong Maya? And I'm not asking again" he said
She sighed "I think Kasey is tired of me and wants a divorce" she admitted.
"Woah woah that's a big ass accusation" Ricky laughed. Kamaya crossed her arms. "Its not funny" she said. "Im not laughing at you.. that's just crazy to think" he said
"Well I know you two are like bestfriends so" Kamaya sighed. "All the reasons why you sound crazy" he said
"Were just not getting along. I mean its not horrible I definitely apologized for my ways and that big argument we had last month. He said he forgives me but he's still kinda cold" she explained
"Just give him sometime just because you pissed your man off doesn't mean he wants to divorce you Maya. My God" he said. The bartender Eric came over to check on us. "Can I have another strawberry lemonade" Kamaya said
"Of course and you Mr. Santana? He asked
"I'll have a beer" Ricky ordered
"Right away" he said
"I know but he's just not being himself and he wont communicate with me. I'm trying my best to just go with the flow but that's never been me" she whined
"I know"
"Kasey loves you. I'm sure whatever it is it will pass" Ricky said.
"That makes me feel so much better Ricky ughhh is this how you are going to be when you become a dad because the advice sucks right now" she scoffed taking her shot
Ricky laughed a bit he missed his sister, he lowkey misses the days when he they bickered at eachother at Lemonade.
"Now I give bad advice" he said
"If you were talking to Dreux you would give him all you had but I guess my crazy ass has to figure it out by myself" she said looking at her nails.
"So dramatic.. what do you want me to say? Kasey and I are close but I don't know everything that's going on in his mind. He forgave you but he probably still is pissed a little Maya so you're going to have to give him sometime"
"I guess.. I still think he aint feeling me like that anymore and wants to leave me but if that's the case i want him to tell me. He just holds things in being superman because of what I have going on but his mental health matters too" she sucked her teeth
"Hypothetically speaking if he wants to divorce you. You going to be okay with that? He asked
"...Yeah"
"I want you to think on that cuz you are Kamaya Santana before you were ever married. Hell before you even became a mom. You're strong.. I know you don't feel like it sometimes but remember that shit" Ricky said
"I know"
"You say that.. then you trip out like this over the little shit everytime. Kasey probably worried about the lawn of a new home and you over here thinking about divorce. Maya let's focus"
"Im just sensitive and I need reassurance but I don't want to come off as annoying. I already feel like Im in this box because Im bipolar. I don't know I just feel like Im alot for everyone... it would just be best if I be by myself" she said
"If I'm being real with you" Ricky said." If its not you digging at yourself for having a baby young, its you digging at yourself for being bipolar. It's a pattern and its repetive as hell. We all got our shit with us.. everybody deserves love what makes you so different?
"Now that's some good advice" she said wiping her eyes. "Look take it from your brother no man on earth is marrying a woman he doesn't love with all his heart. You're special Maya, and Kasey knows that. It'll get better" he said
"Thanks bro"
"Come here"
He got up she smiled walking into his arms. "I love you" she said hugging him. "I love you too big head" he said kissing her forehead. Shortly, Yasmin walked over.
"Hey Ricky you needed me? She asked.
"Hey, how you doing? She greeted Maya.
"Hi, how are you? Kamaya smiled taking a gaze at her. She remembers the conversation she had with Josie about her when she thought they were messing around. Kamaya was trying to feel her out, her brother always hires attractive women but she doesn't get the vibe that they are attracted to each other at all. "Um, where you headed? Ricky asked Kamaya.
"I'm gonna go back to my hotel" Kamaya said
"Give me like 15 minutes and I'll drop you off" Ricky said.
"Okay cool.. I'll be around" Kamaya sat down looking at something else she could order on the menu. Ricky walked with Yasmin to his office. He opened the door allowing her to walk in first. Yasmin felt the energy shift and felt like something bad happened she was worried out of her mind.
He closed the door as she sat down "This seems serious" she said. Ricky sat down "I bought you in here because I had to talk to you about something" he said.
"Ohhhh kayy" she looked around
"It's a rumor going on that were having an affair"
"Oh gosh.. it's like every 5 months or so" she scoffed rolling her eyes.
"Yeah... so my wife's bestfriends friend was being messy and told her that he saw us walking around Soho and shit and told her that were sleeping together. He has some beef against my wife for no apparent reason" he explained
"So your wife believes this? Im confused" she said getting defensive
"No but it doesn't help with my past, our history and that she's pregnant so I think its best if you drop down from being my assistant" he said. Yasmin's heart dropped to her lap. She's been working for Ricky for years and they've never even looked at each other for too long. She's learned alot and was making bread and to learn that she's fired over bullshit has her livid.
"Woww" she said
"Please don't be mad" he said
"With all due respect I think its crazy that you're firing me over your wife's insecurity. I treated her with the upmost respect.. walking on egg shells to make her comfortable even when I wasn't" she scoffed
"It's not about insecurity, my wife has no idea about this. I just want her to feel secure. Look don't think of it like fire more so furlough" he said
"Furloughhh" she laughed.
"Yasmin put yourself in my position please" Ricky begged. Yasmin got up "Fine.. but I need assistance for a few months... seeing as though your godson needs some things"she scoffed.
"Look, you family at this point. You think I would just fire you and give you to the wolves out there? He asked
"I don't know" she said
"Type of nigga do you think I am" he said
Yasmin was hurt she loved being his assistant, she felt like she was losing the only brother she had, not to mention she lost her only brother to gun violence when she was a teen
"Okay cuz we live in New york" she joked.
"Just be on standby. I don't need you to be my assistant anymore but our family has other positions that need to be filled" he said.
"Okay.. well thanks for looking out. Im sorry that this happened. It's unfortunate" she said grabbing her purse.
"Yeah.. I know" he said. "I'll see you around" she said walking out of the office.
"Fuck man" Ricky said rubbing his temples. He didn't feel like hiring a new assistant and teaching them all of the ropes and he felt bad in general but if it was going to keep his marriage safe he had to do it.
Dreux
Dreux and Mia were having dinner on a yacht. As soon as she touched down in Jersey he made her pack her things for a mini vacation.
"This is nice, I haven't been on yacht in a minute" she said as he poured her a glass of wine. The both of them were side by side enjoying them ambiance. "You sure?? Dreux asked.
"Cuz you've been outside" he added. Mia rolled her eyes "I guess I was hoeing around" she said. Dreux laughed while gazing at her. He was feeling the short cut on her and the black cut out dress wasn't helping either. "You can hoe around with me" he said.
"Dreux ... you are something, always playing" she said taking a sip of her wine. "I know but on a serious note. I wanted to get your mind off of what you have going on. I don't want you to ever feel like you're drowning when you have me by your side. Come on baby, you know I'll stop the world for you. How could you not tell me you were this unhappy? He asked
Mia felt herself get emotional he has no idea how low she's been feeling, she just didn't want to feel like a burden.
"I don't know... I just always regulate my own emotions.. until I couldn't" she admitted
"You can't do that-
"And you don't? She challenged
"Every once in a while you'll tell me what's really going on but not much and if I get overwhelmed you'll lash out like you did a few months ago" she said
"I don't lash out.. so Im really out here lashing out on you? Im nothing but patient with you" he said
"It's not all the time but its been enough and I'm over it... same situation when you got shot and then found out I was pregnant.. you were overwhelmed with everything that you had going on and you took it out on me. So" she said
"I apologize... I didn't mean too... Ive been fucking up on the communication, but I'll do better I don't want to lose you" he said
"I forgive you... but just know next time Imma take it to hell cuz I ain't no punk bitch. I be trying to consider your stress levels because of your lifestyle but I don't have anymore consideration in me" she admitted
"That's cool.. I'll take that" he said
"Im so serious Dreux" she said
"I hear you" he said
"And I'm still debating on seperation so don't get too excited" she scoffed. Dreux smiled "I missed you" he said. "I know" she said eating her food. Dreux grabbed her legs from under the table placing them on his lap as he caressed her legs.
"So you ain't miss me either"? He asked
"Yeah and no...I missed your presence but I definitely didn't miss the fear and anxiety of you going out at night" she sighed
"I know.. I can't fix everything and some things are out of my control such as my lifestyle but I promise I won't take my anger out on you. You don't deserve it. I should've consoled you when you came home from the hospital but I made it about me and Im so sorry. I don't know what came over me. Just how you give me room to express myself I want to give you room too. I don't have all the answers but I know I'll do whatever it takes to get us on track... and its on your time. I love you" he said
"I love you too" she said.
"Let's talk about something else" she said
"Nah, how you feeling... like really? I wasn't as in tune in with you as I thought and that's happening again. So... you talk and I listen" he said. Mia was moved but she didn't know if it was the wine that was getting her hot or the fact that she hasn't had sex in months.
"Mmhmm" she coughed. "It's getting kinda sensual in here" she said
"You mean hot? Dreux asked turning up the music. The both of them laughed uncontrollably. He turned the music back down
" well honestly just searching for me again. You know being a nurse was all I knew and then being a mom and a wife. I've literally forgotten what moves me, so ive been feeling those emotions"
"You'll find it" he said
"Ohh" she lightly groaned. She quickly put both her feet down. "Okay, let's refocus" she said
" I don't know I feel like I need to focus on you. I got some making up to do" Dreux said
"Let's be practical shouldn't be having any relations if were about to break up" she said. Dreux grabbed his blunt lighting it. He exhaled turning the music back up. Jodeci U & I started playing.

He pulled her on his lap. She could feel how hard he was she bit her lips as she felt his juicy kisses down her neck. "Ahh" she groaned as he smacked her ass before lifting her up. They passionately kissed as they lay on seetee.
Josie
Josie texted Raymond to let him know that she was outside. She placed her glasses on she felt herself get emotional all over again and she did not want Raymond to clock it. "Be good baby, don't forget to show your dad your report card" she said
"Okay mommy, can I have a hug? He asked. She sighed "Of course"
"Bye Jace, be good" Morgan said taking her airpods out of her ear.
"Okay Morgyy" he said grabbing his backbag. Josie opened her door getting out of her car. "Bye mommy, be good" he said. Josie laughed "No you be good" she smiled hugging him. "I love you so much" she said kissing his cheek. She remembers how down she was mentally when he was a baby and now she's pregnant with her second baby. She was mentally trying to prepare for the worst. Raymond came downstairs "Wassup man" Raymond said as Jace ran into his arms. "Daddy"
"You getting big boy" he said rubbing his head. "Wassup Josie" Raymond said giving her a side hug. "Hey, how are you? She asked
"I'm alright" he said looking at her. "Good" she said pushing her glasses further up. "Jace go upstairs.. grandma is up there" he said.
"Okay... bye mommy" she said.
"Bye sweetie" she said. The both of them watched him walk up the steps until he made it inside. "Im sorry to hear about your dad, how you holding up? He asked
"I'm okay" she nodded. Raymond could tell in her demeanor she wasn't doing well but he didn't want to be pushy like last time.
"I know your dad will pull through.. he's a fighter" he said. "I hope so" Josie said shedding tears . "Im so sorry" she said. Morgan looked at them from the rear view mirror before laying her head against window she was feeling so many things.
"Im sorry Jo... don't cry" he said pulling her into a hug as she cried. "This is too much" she said as he rubbed her back. "I know but you got this, your dad will be fine and you have a whole support system from your family and me" he said wiping her tears. Josie snapped out of her moment. Raymond moved her hair tugging it behind her ear. "I got you" he grabbed her chin softly pecking her on her lips. Josie instantly moved back.
"What are you doing? She asked
"Im sorry.. I got ahead of myself" he admitted
"You're just going to throw yourself on me because Im vulnerable" she argued. Raymond sighed "Im sorry... I just caught feelings for you again. I know the timing is off, I just did what was natural" he said
"The timing??? Bye Raymond, Im fucking married... and its never happening. You're so fucking gross" she opened her door getting in.
"Josie.. IM SORRY" he shouted as she slammed the door. She immediately drove off once she made it to the stop sign. She placed on her seatbelt. "Shit" she said out loud. Did this nigga really kiss me? She asked herself. She was shocked at what happened. She instantly felt horrible she was already vulnerable from other things and it just all poured out when Raymonf asked her how she's doing. "Ricky is gonna be livid...I can't tell him what happened" she said

Ricky
Ricky had to make sure everyone was okay after today. He had to make sure all the ladies in his life were good. He made sure Maya got back to the airport safely while making sure his family had dinner on the table. "Slow down... food aint going no where" he said. Kyle was tearing up pizza "I hate when Jace has to leave" Kyle admitted randomly. "Aww I know baby, but he has to spend time with his family" she said.
"I know" he sighed.
"Its boring isn't it" Ricky laughed. Kyle nodded and everyone laughed. "Ya'll remind me so much of Dreux and I when we were kids" Ricky said.
"So Kaia is having a sleepover next weekend for her birthday can I go? Morgan interjected. "Kaia you mean the girl that hangs with your other friend? Josie asked
"Yeah, its going to be at her home" she said handing them the invitation. Ricky grabbed it first "Who does Kaia live with? Ricky asked. Josie leaned over looking at the invitation
"Morgan .. I don't know" Josie said
"Uhh her mom and dad and little sister" she answered
"No" Ricky told her. Morgan looked just as confused as Josie. Josie wasn't mad it his answer she just wasn't used to this. This is his first time making a decision on Morgan's behalf. Morgan looked at Josie for her to say something.
"Don't look at her... I mean if you wanna have a sleep over the following week over here then sure" Ricky said. "But everyone is gonna be there" Morgan said.
"Didn't you get your report card today? Josie asked changing the subject. Morgan took her folder out handing it to them.
"Okayy" Ricky said
"All A's and one C" Ricky said
"I know you said science was hard, we gotta work on that" Josie said
"Yeah you did great champ, just gotta get you some more help in science" he said
"See, my grades are good.. can't I have fun with my friends" she said.
"Its not about that, its about your safety" Ricky said. "Can you two think about it? She asked
Josie grabbed her vanilla milkshake "I'll think about it" she said. "And you aint off the hook" Josie said looking at Kyle.
"Kyle handed over his report card"
"Satisfictory, Satisfactory, Expanding" Josie read. "Aww yayyy give me a five" Josie said. Kyle gave Josie a hifive. "I didn't expect less, Im proud of you baby boy" Ricky said. "You ready to be a uncle? Josie asked
"Yeah, Im really excited" he said finishing his pizza. "Yeah babe you said you were panting her room? I sent you my Pinterest ideas" Josie said dipping her fries in her shake.
"I didn't forget babe, we'll go look at some colors this week" Ricky said. "Damn... Im really a father our baby is going to be in here no time" Ricky said excitedly
"Im gonna get ready for bed" Morgan said getting up. "Me too" Kyle said following her. "Okay I thought we were going to watch a movie but alright" Josie said
"Maybe later" Morgan said going to her room. Kyle went in his room. "Damn" Ricky laughed
"Are we not cool anymore ? Josie asked
"Apparently not" Ricky said finishing his food. Josie tried to remain as calm as possible she didn't want to look like she was guilty of something. Raymond already called her phone twice.
"So you really gonna consider that sleepover? Ricky asked
"Noo but I just feel bad. I know the feeling of not wanting to miss out so" Josie said
"You too trusting" he said. Josie squinted her face at that statement. "What do you mean by that? She asked
"Im just saying these sleepover can go left quickly" Ricky said
"And I know that" she said. Josie's phone lit up once again. Ricky peeked at her phone while she was taking to see that it was Raymond.
"Your phone is ringing" he said. She looked down at her phone ignoring it. "I'll see what he wants later" she said
"But yeah it seems like you were giving it some thought" he said
"No, not really" she said
"Okay" he said
"Are you coming from my parental skills? She asked
"Not at all.Morgan is my baby and I'll kill someone over her and my baby girl. Shit all of ya'll... people are crazy" he said. Josie gave him the side eye for randomly questioning her parential decision but she just decided to let it go. "I know baby... I know" she sighed.
"Anyways how are you momma, you need some loving? He asked. She blushed "Always" she said. He scooted behind her wrapping his arms around her. Josie sighed deeply
"I know... I know your dad is a fighter don't even sweat it" he said
"Ricky you think you can find my mother"? She asked randomly
"Huh? He asked
"My mom" she said
"I mean I guess...
"I don't know she's just been on my mind like crazy. I just want to see if she's okay and to see where she is mentally. I don't know if my dad doesn't come through.... i don't know" she sId
"But like how? You want her to come over? Im confused
"I don't know like kidnap her I know yall can do it" she said
"Im not kidnapping your mom that's not how it works" he laughed
"Do you know who Im talking to right now? She turned looking at him
Ricky laughed "You're funny but yeah I can try to find her but we can't just bring her here you know with the kids... and Morgan" she said
"Yeah definitely get her like a hotel" she said
"But are you ready for that? All of those emotions. I don't think its the right time" he said
"Ricky I want to see my mom" she said
"Okay... I'll set something up" he said.
"You're the best" she said
"Im gonna run me a bath... you want to join? She asked
"Hell yeah" he said getting up.
The Next Day
Josie met up with Ms.Monica to shop for the baby. She and Craig were visiting New York for the weekend. "Oh this is so cutee" She said throwing the onesie in the basket. "Baby has so much stuff I don't know why you're splurging" Josie laughed as they walked through carter's.
"Can you please let me be excited. I mean this is huge never in a million years would have expected for Ricky to settle down and get married... and have a baby" Monica said throwing everything she saw in the cart.
"Yeah I can't believe it, ugh we used to bicker so bad I literally couldn't stand him then I fell in love, fell out and fell back in" she said rubbing her belly.
"I remember he used to fight falling in love with you all the time but energy never lies, you barely go shit in peace. Ricky was always near by" she laughed
"I kinda miss those days... not the bad parts.. it was so much simpler back then... now everything is different" Josie said as they made their way to the register. "What's wrong? She asked sliding her card in. "I'll tell you once we get lunch" Josie said

"I don't think my dad is going to make it and before then Ricky has really been stepping it up, not like he hasn't but he's more comfortable you know disciplining Jace and Morgan which is fine. Morgan really wants to go to this sleepover and I told her I would think about it. Ricky on the other hand told her no and that Im too trusting" Josie explained
"Well you know father's and father figures don't play about the girls" Ms. Monica said
"I know and I love that about its not really that, Im just trying to figure out his headspace" she said.
"What do you mean his head space? He's happy as hell... the happiest I ever seen him" Ms. Monica said.

Josie laughed "Um, how do I put this? I think Ricky is scared to go all the way now that I'm pregnant
"Ohhh" Ms. Monica said sipping her drink
"Yeah exactly since you wanted to know the deets" Josie laughed
"Well, I mean that seems odd of him-
Josie lifted her brow "Well how do you know? She laughed
"Girl please both of my sons are retired hoes" she laughed
"You know how many little girls used to run to me crying "Ma can you talk to Dreux, Ma can you talk to Ricky" she mocked them laughing
Josie laughed "Well I didn't want to think the worse but" Josie said
"Mm some partners can get turned off by pregnancy which is a damn shame. Have you talked to him? She asked
"Yeah a few times he just mentioned that he didn't want to be predatory type husband and I'm like where this even come from" Josie said eating her food. Ms. Monica sat there quietly for a second.
She cleared her throat "Ricky... Ricky was sexually abused as a kid. Now I don't know but that could play a part in the intimacy being shutoff" She said. Josie instantly felt sick to her stomach "Oh" she sat back gathering her thoughts.
"Yeah we don't really talk about it. I mean of course he has gotten help but its just one of those things as a parent that you tuck away" she said
"He has never told me this... when? How? Josie had so many questions.
"I don't know the severity of it. Ricky has never went into detail of it, all I remember is the night he told us and how ashamed he was and Grant. Grant just made him feel like shit. I was raging and hurt for my baby. All I know is one night Grant and Giovanni woke the boys up and they went somewhere in the middle of the night. Grant came back and told me it was handled.. and when they say that usually it means they killed someone... and then we all acted like it never happened again" she explained
Josie was disturbed she's had her share of almost being assaulted by her ex's friend and also by Dustin last year and how disgusted you can feel. She would never look at Ricky any differently. "Wow, so did Ricky want you all to act like it never happened again or what?
"A combination of both I also asked him if he wanted to talk about it or go to a therapist but he refused. I sent him to therapy as a kid and he wouldn't talk about it.... And then as he gotten older he just became a hot head but that was bound to happen anyways with Grant's crazy ass being his father."
"Ahh if I could go back and change somethings I would" she sighed
"Wow, I don't know what to say. Should I address it? Josie asked
"Do what you want, if he gets pissed off at me about it. I'll be fine its not the first time and you deserve to know. So Im not saying that's the reason but it could be" she said. Josie's appetite was definitely ruined she had no idea what to do with this information. She feels like if she brings it up it'll piss him off so for now she'll keep it to herself.
Kamaya
Kamaya sat in her car talking on the phone with Mia and Victoria. She thought she was doing something coming home early from her day trip for Kasey not to be there. Kamaya sat outside his friends house where she followed him. "Girl he's been acting weird for weeks. We got over our argument right and I thought we made up but he's been so distant. Everytime I ask him what's wrong he gives me the run around... he's making it known that he doesn't want to be bothered" Kamaya explained
"As toxic is it looks sometimes you gotta do some investigating" Mia said

Kasey unlocked the door to his home. He closed the door putting his passcode into the security system. He walked around the house something he would do to give him a peace of mind. He heard the basement door open and it was Jr.
"You scared the crap out of me" Jr said to Kasey.

before leaving out the house. "Night honey be safe" she said. Kasey hated that Jr dropped out of school and honestly wanted to give him an ultimatum of living with them and going back to school or getting his own place. Because he would be dammed if Chance quit school and just wants to lay around the house. He didn't believe in kicking his kids out prematurely but they needed to be focused on something real. He started to think about how Kamaya literally pulled up on him thinking that he's cheating on her or something He knows his energy has been down but he couldn't really tell Maya how he was feeling. For the first time in a long time Kasey was dealing with personal insecurities that he doesn't feel like revealing and other issues He wouldn't think that she could handle it.
They both watched him leave Kamaya turned around opening the fridge hoping to make her mocktail before she went to sleep. Kasey stared at her long glowy legs that she never uses to her advantage . Kamaya wore what looked like skims that hugged her body. Kasey was definitely in the mood. "What you doing? He asked. "What it looks like" she said
Kasey sat down watching her from behind. He rubbed his hands biting his lip. "So what was all of that about? He asked. "Can you just leave me alone please? She asked staring at her fridge realizing that she didn't stock up on her poppi's or cherry juice. She began to feel a wave of irritation hit her body. "Im always forgetting something" she said under her breath. She closed the fridge and jumped when she saw Kasey standing there. "Can you stop? I don't want to talk anymore.. just forget that I pulled up on you. And why are you back so early? She asked. Kasey didn't say anything he walked towards her as she backed against the fridge. Kamaya's heart started beating fast and she felt chills down her body. He grabbed her chin
"Maya I'm not afraid of you.... baby" he snickered
"You act like you're this super complex, irrational person when you're really simple and sweet. You know how many women I dealt with in my life.... and you think I can't handle little ole you. Cut it out.... I'll eat you for breakfast girl" he stared in her eyes. Maya was left speechless

"Wassup? He pulled her closer for a kiss. Maya hungrily kissed him she missed her man so much. She wrapped her arms around his neck.
"That's why you act out"?Kasey said picking her up as he carried her to the pool table.
"You need that act right" he said kissing her deeply. "Yes" Kamaya gasped as Kasey roughly devoured her neck working his way down to her belly. He kissed her scars that healed nicely

Shortly, they laid in bed chilling. Doja Cat x Agora Hills was playing in the background. She turned her speakers down before finishing her book. Maya was reading all about love by Bell Hooks while Kasey smoked his blunt.
"Let me hit" she said
"Damn baby you could barely handle round one" Kasey said. Maya was a shit talker but could never back it up in the bedroom. "Im talking about a puff" she laughed
"No" Kasey said pressing it in his ashes.
"Its way too strong" he said. Kamaya laughed "You always bossing me around... but its cool I don't need rapper weed anyways " she said
"Not rapper weed that's funny as hell" he laughed. It became really quiet. Maya pushed her glasses up turning the page.
"You know I'm not going anywhere babe, I really hate when you get in your head and think Im going to leave you" he said. Maya placed her book down
"I just feel like you tolerate me sometimes.. well it feels like you do" she said
"When I'm irritated? He asked
"Yes" she said
"How? I don't understand I'm not unhappy in our marriage babe. I mean you get on my nerves but shit I know I get on yours" he said

"Its just you hold alot in...I express myself more than you. And when you're going though things I try to be there but you shut me out everytime. I don't know if you're protecting me or you feel like your worries are not my worries but they are.. so when you don't open up and you get in your mood it makes me panic because Im trying to solve the problem but you wont let me" she explained
"I understand now but I just want you to be stress free. My shit is little Im just not a nigga that's going put my worries on to you" he said
"I get that but that's how I feel like Im bad wife and then its this repetive cycle of me feeling like I did something wrong. I don't like feeling like that actually I need you to stop doing that. Like I don't just need you to show up for me mentally, and financially. I need you to emotionally"
"That's not the same thing? He asked
Maya laughed "No.. mentally is your whole well being, how you think and rationalize things, and emotionally is like your mood and feelings" she explained
"Im sorry baby I didn't know I was making you feel like that. Right now I've been having some heavy shit on my heart but when Im ready to talk about it. I will.. on the otherhand I won't hold everything in and I'll make sure I reinsure you" he said
"Kay" she smiled. He leaned over kissing her cheek. She smiled turning off the light as he turned off the speaker. The two of them cuddled until they drifted off to sleep.
I know this was alot, I know everything feels stagnant but it's going to come together.
