BADA'S POV:
After Naomi passed out because of Orion, I immediately sent her home. I can't tell her Mom that she was attacked by a devil she will panic and might get scared so I told her Naomi had a heart attack.
"Bakit hindi naten sya dalhin sa hospital Miss Brynn?" Her mom asked as I lay her down in her bed.
The hospital would be a dangerous place for Naomi, lots of lost souls, devils who are trying to attract contractors and not to mention Orion is here now.
At least her house has security, my barrier fills this house no one else can enter here unless they are welcomed by Naomi herself.
"I already brought her there Tita, alam ko po magwoworry kayo and we don't want you to get tired. Doctor said it's not anything worse naman po, she can rest in her room with medications basta po tignan-tignan nalang" nakahawak sa dibdib ang Mama ni Naomi habang sinasabi ko yun, she's scared to lose her daughter that's why.
It's a lie anyway but we have to cover it up, I hope Naomi will be able to rest well.
"Nako pag nalaman to ng Papa nya mag-aalala din yun, wala naman samin ang may sakit sa puso. Hindi kaya .... Miss Brynn can you help us bail her father? He needs to be beside his daughter" nabigla naman ako sa request ng Mama nya. I thought she doesn't like Naomi's father being here after all he did to them.
"Kahit bayaran ko nalang paunti-unti yung pyansa ng Papa nya, please Miss Brynn. Sigurado ako pag nalaman ni Naomi na may sakit sya sa puso hahanapin nya din yung papa nya" hinawakan pa nya ako sa kamay at nagmamakaawa na.
Hmm I don't want to ask about the reason but seeing Naomi's mother desperate like that I granted her request. Mas mabuti na din para kay Naomi para magstay muna sya sa bahay nila, I don't want her getting out either for the mean time when I can't sense Orion around.
That mischievous devil, sa sunod na makikita ko sya I will make sure I send him to the deepest part of hell where he will burn and suffer alone.
"Thank you Miss Brynn, tatanawin kong malaking utang na loob ito sayo. Naomi needs me, I promise I would change my lifestyle from now on" Naomi's dad said as he gets out of prison, I tried reading and sensing him and looks like he meant what he said.
"Go home and meet your wife, she's waiting for you" utos ko sa kanya, agad-agad naman syang pumara ng taxi at umuwi sa bahay nila. Time to return Naomi's wealth so they can fix their family.
"We deposited a total of 100 million cash in this account Miss Lee, is there anything else I can help you with?" The teller asked while I am signing some documents.
"Nothing else thank you" why do humans have a lot of paperwork when it comes to transactions, it's more tiring writing every detail in a sheet of paper than collecting souls around.
NAOMI'S POV:
Nagising ako sa kwarto ko, how long was I asleep? Tapos bungad pa si Bada na nakalapit yung mukha sakin titig na titig pa.
"Panong-- anong nangyare Bada?" I tried remembering the last thing I saw before passing out. The hooded figure!
"You're unsafe Naomi, someone is trying to take revenge on me but he's taking it out on you" sagot ni Bada sakin.
"Sobrang sama siguro talaga ng ugali mo para ganyanin ka ng mga kapwa devils mo, una si Kali ngayon may isa na naman" sarcastic kong sabi sa kanya. She just looked at me na parang mali yung sinabi ko.
"It's not my fault that I think straight, lahat sila may kanya-kanyang toyo sa buhay Naomi. Do you think Satan would let them lead?" Ano ba namang tanong yan hindi naman ako demonyo.
"Exactly, so stop jumping into conclusions and listen to me. Hindi ka na pwedeng lumayo sakin this time, kung ayaw mong maulit yung muntik ka nang mamatay nung isang araw you will follow me" panenermon nya naman, daig pa nanay ko talaga.
"Hanggang ngayon ang sakit pa nga din, sino ba yun? Why is he/she attacking me?" Tanong ko sa kanya so I can understand the situation.
"sighs I told you being a general alone is exhausting, bukod sa madaming trabaho, madami ka ding kalaban sa posisyon" simpleng sagot nya na naintindihan ko naman agad.
"P-pero ayokong makita ka ih! Nagdadrama yung tao kasi nireject mo na nga tapos kailangan pa natin magdikit lalo?! Masyado naman ata akong favorite ng heaven at hell" pagmamaktol ko sa kanya. Iniiwasan ko dapat sya hindi mas kasama 😭 Pano ko makakalimutan feelings ko for her.
"Wala ka ng choice Naomi, either you wanna be safe or get killed by Orion" sabi ulit ni Bada as she sat down in my bed. She caressed my right cheek at napasandal naman ako habang nakapikit dahil sa lambot ng kamay nya tsaka nakiliti ako slight.
"And please continue forgetting about your feelings for me. Walang ikakabuti yan" kinikilig na yung tao sa hawak oh! Kailangan basagin ng isa pang rejection????
Bada stayed with me the whole day, it's weekend naman kaya both of us are not in school. Nakita ko din si Dad at Mom sa sala na sweet habang nanonood, Bada told me everything, that she had to pretend I have a heart attack para di malaman ng parents ko that I sold my soul and is now chased by devils.
They would be scared af if they knew and I was thankful to Bada for that. Honestly I am happy, kasi everytime na may sakit ako or I feel down si Dad talaga nag-aalaga sakin.
Iyakin kasi si Mom, she's always nervous every time something bad happens to me.
"Orion's getting out of hand now, he's doing anything to get my attention" sabi ni Bada as we watch the news and she reads some of it.
"Grabe naman magpapansin yan, damay talaga yung mundo?" Tugon ko naman sa kanya while eating a bag of chips.
"He's a crazy and uncontrollable bastard, that's why we need to be careful from now on Naomi. He might be near just watching us, you kaya maging aware ka sa paligid" pagpapaalala nya sakin.
Natakot naman ako dahil kung muntik nya na nga akong patayin, hindi malabong gawin ulit yun ni Orion. Nasa sofa pa man din ako at dingding na tong nasa likod ko, what if tumagos sya bigla dito sabay hilahin ako. Halaaaa wala na deads na agad!
Tumakbo ako papunta sa bed kung asan si Bada na nakahiga at sumiksik sa kanya.
"Are you scared?" Malumanay nyang tanong, kumabog tuloy dibdib ko. Namiss ko yung boses nyang malambing.
"Oo, anong laban ko dun? I'm just a mere human who depends on someone like you. What if makuha nya ako bigla habang wala ka? Edi katapusan ko na" pangangamba ko, mas lalo tuloy akong sumiksik sa kanya.
Bada wrapped her right arm around me as if she was hugging me, eto pala yung wag na ituloy yung feelings for her pero sya naman tong ganito kumilos.
BADA'S POV:
"I promise you, as long as I am here by your side he won't be able to take you. Trust me" I said to Naomi with assurance. I'm getting pissed off about the idea of Orion taking her away from me already.
I know I should not be too obsessed with Naomi but fuck what is this feeling? Devils shouldn't care that much on their subjects but why do I feel like I have a responsibility.
Is it because I marked her mine? Hindi ko nga dapat ginawa yun, siguro dahil sa sobrang takot kong maagawan sa lahat that I was impulsive about it too. I was just afraid my subject will be taken away from me dahil ako naman ang unang nakakita sa kanya.
I looked at Naomi hugging me now, when I saw her getting almost killed by Orion I got worried. She's affecting me in a way that I shouldn't be feeling at all, it was weird but I am at ease now that she's here beside me.
"Samahan mo ako sa CR!" Nagulat naman ako sa biglaan nyang pagyaya sakin.
"CR? Tingin mo ba kasya sya sa bowl? Ututan mo nalang pag lumutang" pabiro kong sabi sa kanya.
"BADA NAMAN E! Dali na huhu feeling ko tuloy may nakatingin na lagi sakin" naiiyak pa si Naomi while saying that. I had no choice but to stand up as well and went inside the bathroom with her.
"NO PEEKING! AND NO READING OF MINDS" paalala nya sakin.
"Nakita ko na yan" sagot ko sa kanya na nasundan ng hampas sa kamay, buti nalang talaga contractor ko sya kasi kung hindi baka niligaw ko na to sa gubat.
'Parang baliw ampotek, nagpasama pa sa CR nakakahiya ka Naomi' I heard her say in her mind
"Don't worry I enjoy this naman, once you regain strength you need to pay me back by fucking me, you on top moving and doing everything." I said to her once again. Sinamaan nya lang ako ng tingin saka ako pinatalikod.
'top daw gagu di nga ako marunong ng kahit ano waah pano yun? Do I need to watch something para magka-idea?!' I just smirked at her thought, Naomi is still innocent and such a pure soul.
