Y/n, Luz's Jamaican-British boyfriend who speaks fluently in French but primarily in English, should be right here. Chot-San, his pet corgi, barks excitedly. Luz waves and exits the boat, pulling out her little device. She's received a lot of texts from Amity. Hooty, still in his portable state, looms over her shoulder.
Luz: "Hmmm. 'Mom took Pensta, but we're safe. We'll contact.' Aww, she sent so many hearts! Hope she's doing okay."
King: "Is that Amity? It's okay if you wanna check on her. I can get to the Owl House on my own."
Y/n: "I'm here for you, Luz. We can check on Amity together."
[Luz has a flashback to the events from their recent adventure.]
King (flashback): "I think they might be my family! Maybe they're an answer to all our problems!"
Bill (flashback): "If you think Belos is evil, you've never seen a live Titan."
Luz (flashback): "King, you're not one of them."
King (flashback): "Then what am I?!"
Luz (flashback): "You're a titan, King. You're the son of the Boiling Isles." [This greatly shocks King.]
[Back to the present time.]
Hooty: "Hey, look! Everyone missed us so much they put up pretty signs!"
Vilador, an adult witch who resides with Eda, appears: "Those are wanted posters, Hooty."
[Four wanted posters are displayed on the screen. One featuring a demonically drawn Hooty, another of Harpy Eda, then one with Luz casting a glyph spell with King next to her, and the last one featuring Lilith holding fire in her hand. Two witches growl at what seems to be Hooty.]
Luz: [Pulls her hood up.] "Let's take the long way home."
[Y/n, Chot-San, Luz, King, and Hooty retreat back to the Owl House. Upon sensing someone coming, Luz quickly activates an invisibility glyph as they hide from two Coven Scouts.]
[Transition over to the Knee of the Titan.]
Lilith: "Using my old keys, we'll travel through the service tunnels. From there, we initiate the security system and everyone including Belos will be trapped inside the castle. Boom! Day of Unity stopped!"
Eda: "You don't think they changed the locks after you got booted from the Coven?"
Vilador: "I can help with that. I still have some connections."
[Lilith kicks a bag of Hex Mix on the ground.]
Lilith: "This is just like you. You never take things seriously! At least Luz, Y/n, and King are far away from here."
[Eda looks down. Suddenly, an alarm sounds off.]
Eda: "Someone's tripped the booby trap."
[Lilith, Eda, and Vilador head over to the location of the trap and find their palismen looking at Luz (now wearing her fur hat, her fingerless gloves and a pair of white boots), Y/n, King, Chot-San, and Hooty trapped inside it.]
Hooty: "Hey, Lulu!"
Luz: "Hiiiiii."
Y/n: "We could use a hand here, Vilador."
Later on, everyone is gathered around a Fire Bee pit while Luz explains what happened. Y/n sits next to Luz, and Vilador stands nearby, listening attentively. Eda puts her coat on Luz then sits down next to Lilith.
Luz: "It took a while to figure out which town you're in from your map. I had to keep off the streets with all those wanted posters, but that's when we saw your Hex Mix trail and well, you know the rest!"
Eda: "What map are you talking about?"
Luz: "The one you left us, obviously."
Eda: [Stares directly at Lilith.] "The one we left them!"
Lilith: "Well, someone had to bury our bones!"
Hooty: "Lulu! I got you a shirt!"
[He throws up an orange t-shirt on her lap (to her disgust) that says "I was Sacrificed to the Grand Huntsman!", much to her and Eda's surprise.]
Y/n: "That's quite the shirt, Hooty."
Lilith: [Reading the text on the shirt.] "I was sacrificed to the Grand Huntsman?"
Eda: "What the—?"
Luz: "So... turns out King's letter was sent by a bunch of Titan Trappers. And they may have tried to sacrifice King to the Collector, who they worship."
Vilador: "Titan Trappers? I haven't heard of them in ages."
Eda: [Glares at Lilith.] "Bloodthirsty fanatics in a place that was supposed to be empty!"
Lilith: "Well, they couldn't have been that scary without any titans to trap!"
Luz: "Actually... [Looks down at King.] King... is a titan."
[Lilith and Eda's eyes widen and they gasp in shock. Y/n puts a comforting hand on King's shoulder.]
King: "Looks like I'm... due for a growth spurt soon... heh, heh."
[Scene transitions over to where King wraps a scarf around a snow bunny resembling Francois. Chot-San, Y/n's corgi, barks and plays with the snow. Seeing this, Hooty wraps himself around King to hug him.]
Eda: "I can't believe that little guy is gonna turn into that big guy."
Luz: "Certainly explains his strange new powers. He's just dealing with so much. I wish there was a way we could give him some comfort."
Vilador: "I could brew a calming tea for him, if that would help."
Lilith: "I can't believe this! All this time you've had a titan under your roof! [Gasps.] I've eaten ice cream with a god!"
Y/n: "He's not a god, Lilith. He's just King."
[Luz pouts as Eda avoids her question about the plan to defeat Belos.]
Eda: "Just for now. I'll fill you in closer to go time!"
Luz: "Ah, so if I'm captured I can't give anything away! Smart thinkin', Owl Lady!"
[Luz walks off to help King with his snow bunny, and Vilador follows. Lilith enters the area.]
Lilith: [Shouts.] "And King deserves our praise!"
Eda: [Sighs.] "Alright, kids! The uh... plan isn't gonna be ready till tomorrow, but if you could do anything in the world today, what would it be?"
King: "Thanks, Eda, but I just want things to be normal right now."
Y/n: "I agree with King. A normal day would be nice."
Luz: "Well, I wanna go on a heist!"
Eda: "Of course you do."
Scene transition to Eda and Luz riding on the former's staff, with Vilador flying beside them on his broom.]
Luz: "I saw scouts taking boxes from the house. They're probably holding everything at the Bonesborough Precinct, Francois included."
Vilador: "I can help you get it back. I know a secret way into the precinct."
Eda: "Are you sure you wanna do this for a stuffed toy? Wouldn't you rather, oh I don't know, have a beach day?"
Luz: "Maybe if we had time for 20 more adventures, but we don't. Besides, this is for King! He needs his buddy."
[Luz, Eda, and Vilador land in between two buildings and watch mysterious cloaked people walk while holding candles.]
Coven Scout #1: "Ugh, I hate double-shifts. Can't wait for the day after the Day of Unity. Know what I mean?"
Coven Scout #2: "Sure, but, I'm racking up OT like crazy!"
Luz: [Gasps.] "There, look! [She points at a box holding Francois.] Francois! Let's pounce!"
Eda: "Hold up! If we're gonna do this we gotta do it right. Belos isn't taking any more chances with us after your little trip into his mind. If we wanna stay alive we have to be inconspicuous."
[Eda, Luz, and Vilador suddenly burst inside the building, disguised as Coven Scouts.]
Eda (disguised): [In a fake voice.] "Take me to my... I mean the Owl Lady's confiscated junk!"
Vilador (disguised): "Yes, we need to inventory it immediately."
[Scene changes to King sadly walking around Bonesborough with Chot-San, Y/n's corgi, by his side.]
Steve: "Lose your way, little guy?"
[King finds Steve sitting on an unknown motorcycle.]
King: "Actually, I got where I was going but now I, uh... eh? [Realizes something.] Hey, I know you! You're Steve from Lilith's party! Shouldn't you be like kissing the Emperor's butt right now?"
Steve: "Probably. Heck, growing up, all I wanted was to be an Emperor's Coven Scout, to be considered one of the best. I got what I wanted, but it's not what I thought it was."
Y/n: "Sometimes our dreams don't match reality."
[King hops into the sidecar and Steve puts a helmet over his head.]
King: "I point, you drive."
[The sidecar heads off, with Chot-San running after them.]
[Back in the Knee, Hooty eats a bunch of fire bees with his giant mouth.]
Lilith: "Did I insult him by groveling too much? Did I not grovel enough?"
Vilador: "Perhaps he just wants to be treated like a normal person."
Lilith: "Nonsense! He's a titan, for Titan's sake!"
Hooty: "Uh, Lulu, I think we have a bigger problem."
[They notice King and Chot-San have gone missing.]
[Scene changes back to the storage area. None of the Coven Scouts notice a still-disguised Eda, Luz, and Vilador.]
Luz (disguised): "I would have appreciated some kind of reaction. These were hard to get."
Vilador (disguised): "Patience, Luz. We don't want to blow our cover."
[The Coven Scout gives them the key. Luz, Eda, and Vilador enter an elevator by using the key.]
Eda (disguised): "Why's everything going our way now?"
Luz (disguised): "Maybe our luck's finally turning!"
[They enter the warehouse and start to look around.]
Eda: "Woo, boy, we're gonna need to split up if we want to find Francois."
[The two take off their disguise helmets. Eda gives Luz her staff.]
Eda: "If things get hairy, you fly out of here as fast as you can. Hey, Vilador, can you watch Luz's back?"
Vilador: "Of course, Eda. I'll make sure nothing happens to Luz."
Scene transitions to Luz and Y/n sneaking around a corner of the warehouse while Vilador keeps watch.
Luz: "Thanks for coming with me, Y/n. I feel better having you here."
Y/n: "I wouldn't let you do this alone, Luz. We're in this together."
Luz: "I just hope we can find Francois soon. King needs him."
Y/n: "We'll find him, don't worry. And we'll get out of here without any trouble."
Luz: "I know, with you and Vilador watching my back, I feel a lot safer."
Y/n: "That's what friends are for, right?"
Luz: "Right. Let's keep moving."
As Eda and Luz are being dragged away by the Abomatons, Y/n and Vilador appear from their hiding spot.
Y/n: "Luz! Eda! We have to help them!"
Vilador: "I'll take care of the Abomatons, you go free Luz and Eda."
Y/n nods and rushes forward, using a plant glyph to grow vines that trip up the Abomatons holding Eda and Luz. Vilador attacks the other Abomatons with a powerful spell, causing them to malfunction.
Luz: "Y/n! Vilador! Thank you!"
Eda: "Nice work, kids. Now let's get out of here before more scouts show up."
Y/n helps Luz up and they both run towards Eda, who is still struggling to free herself from the net.
Luz: "Eda, are you okay?"
Eda: "I'm fine, just get this net off me."
Vilador uses his magic to cut through the net, freeing Eda.
Eda: "Thanks, Vilador. We need to regroup and come up with a new plan."
Y/n: "What about King? We can't leave him alone."
Eda: "You're right. We'll go back to the Knee and figure something out together."
The group quickly makes their escape, with Y/n and Vilador providing cover for Eda and Luz.
Scene switches to the secret base of the CATS. The group is gathered around the table, with Y/n and Vilador sitting next to Luz, Eda, and King on the bunk bed. Hooty and Lilith have fallen asleep beside the table. Eda opens her bag and brings out Francois.
King: [Squeaking happily.] Francois! [Hugs him.]
Eda: [Brings out a cardboard box.] Look what else is in here.
Luz gasps in surprise and Y/n leans in to look at the box labeled "EDA'S LONGEST TOENAILS (DON'T OPEN!)" Luz opens it hesitantly and finds the palistrom wood.
Vilador: Ah, the palistrom wood. I remember when you first received it, Luz.
Luz: It's... palistrom wood.
Eda: I thought you'd wanna carve your palisman. What do you say? [Brings out a chisel from her hair.]
Luz: I shouldn't. The Day of Unity is in two days, I have to focus on stopping Belos.
Y/n: But carving your palisman could also help you prepare for what's to come.
King: Yeah, we have teammates now. Meow, meow!
Eda: Exactly. You're not in this alone, Luz.
Luz: What if the palisman doesn't like me?
Vilador: I highly doubt that. You have a strong heart and a determination that's hard to ignore.
Eda: [Releases her from the hug.] Plenty of witches would've ditched this rock already. But you keep learning and you keep fighting... what's not to like, huh?
Luz: Thanks, everyone. [Sniffles and grabs the box.] I think I'm ready to carve. [Chuckles.] Um, you're gonna show me how to do this, right?
Eda: Of course. My dad taught me the ropes. Here, let's make sure we have some space. [Takes the wood and sets it upwards.]
King: [Eagerly.] Are you gonna carve me?
Vilador: Maybe next time, King. This is Luz's moment.
Eda: [Chuckles and takes the chisel.] Calm down, King. [Luz sets the box aside.] Now, let's take it slow.
Scene zooms out to show a view of the Titan's head.
Eda: [Voiceover.] We've got all the time in the world.
Scene switches to the secret base of the CATS, where Y/n is sitting at a table with Luz, Eda, and King. Y/n is holding a piece of palistrom wood in his hands, looking at it nervously.
Y/n: I can't believe I'm finally going to craft my own palisman. I've been waiting for this moment for so long.
Luz: You're going to do great, Y/n. Just take your time and let your intuition guide you.
Eda: That's right. And don't worry, we'll be here to help you every step of the way.
King: Meow, meow!
Y/n: Thanks, guys. I just hope I don't mess it up.
Eda: Don't worry, Y/n. The palisman chooses you just as much as you choose it. Just focus on your connection with the wood and let your emotions guide you.
Y/n: Okay, I'll try.
Y/n takes a deep breath and closes his eyes, focusing on the palistrom wood in his hands. He begins to carve slowly and deliberately, letting his intuition guide him. As he works, the others watch quietly, offering encouragement and advice.
Luz: That's looking great, Y/n.
Eda: Yeah, you're really getting the hang of it.
King: Meow, meow!
Y/n: Thanks, guys. I'm just trying to stay focused and let the wood speak to me.
As Y/n continues to work, the others turn their attention to their own tasks. Luz is practicing her glyphs, Eda is sharpening her claws, and King is playing with Francois.
Vilador enters the room, followed by Chot-San.
Vilador: How's everyone doing?
Luz: We're good, just practicing and crafting.
Vilador: Ah, I see. And how's your palisman coming along, Y/n?
Y/n: It's going well, I think. I'm just trying to take my time and let the wood guide me.
Vilador: That's the spirit. Remember, your palisman is a reflection of your inner self. Take your time and let it reveal itself to you.
Y/n: Thanks, Vilador. I'll do that.
Chot-San barks and wags his tail, looking up at Vilador.
Vilador: And how about you, Chot-San? Ready to help Y/n with his palisman?
Chot-San barks again, wagging his tail even harder.
Y/n: Thanks, Chot-San. I could use all the help I can get.
As Y/n continues to work on his palisman, the others offer words of encouragement and support. Together, they are a team, ready to face whatever challenges come their way.
