*after hugging for a long time, they heard catnap's belly make a noise, indicating that he was hungry, he got embarrassed for the noise as his ears and tail went back down duo to embarrassement*
*Dogday and the others couldn't help but laugh as Catnap's belly sounded a bit loud, revealing that he was likely hungry at that moment. The kitty then got a little bit embarrassed about everyone hearing his hungry belly noises, which made the doggo feel a bit sorry for the cat, as this was probably uncomfortable for Catnap.*
Bobby: "Oh my, someone's really hungry!" *She said as she made sure to cuddle Catnap even tighter.*
Catnap:shut up....
Dogday: "Oh, someone's feeling so embarrassed by their own noises." *He joked, making the others laugh as well and Catnap's face got all red out of embarrassment.*
Bubba: "Poor Catnap, it's so funny to see him embarrassed like this."
Kickin: "I mean, who would have thought the hungry cat would have been the one to be embarrassed."
Crafty: "It's honestly impressive, how Catnap just manages to get himself into embarrassing situations so much..."
Picky:oh!
What if we went on a picnic?
I could cook some food and we could eat all together like old times!
*When Pickie suggested going on a picnic and cooking for everyone, the whole group seemed interested in this suggestion, as this was something they hadn't done in a while together.*
*The others seemed excited to follow Pickie's idea of having a fun picnic and having a nice meal outside all together.*
Bubba: "This is perfect! We should totally do this!"
Kickin: "What kind of food are you planning to cook for all of us? I'm curious about what delicious thing you might cook up for us!"
Picky:idk, I'll see what I have in the fridge!
Come on, we'll get catnap back to the playcare
*The doggo was happy to learn that Picky will be cooking for all of them, since she always had this creative cooking capabilities where she would end up making something delicious and surprising.*
Dogday: "Sounds good! And yeah, we should definitely take Catnap back to the playcare, as this kind of fun is something he could use right now."
*The doggo looked over at Catnap and gently nudged his arm with the hope to get him moving, so the kitty would follow them back to the play care, so he could rest peacefully.*
*the only problem was that despise catnap being better, he still had injuries, even tho they were bandaged, he couldn't exactly walk, so dogday had the brillant idea to carry him in a bridal style, so he got up and picked catnap up, catnap got embarrassed again as he hid his face with his paws, his ears and tail going back down*
*Dogday's idea of carrying Catnap was honestly very cute, as it showed how much the doggo really cared for the cat, to be willing to carry him around in his back to help him. Catnap's embarrassment was quite adorable as well, which caused the doggo to giggle once he saw Catnap hiding his face with his paws.*
Bobby: "Oh, someone looks like a blushing bride right now!"
Kickin: "Can't believe Catnap is letting himself be carried like this."
Bubba: "I can't resist the cuteness..."
Catnap:w-why did you pick me up like this!?
*Dogday was amused by Catnap's reaction to him carrying him in that way, which was quite fun to see, since the kitty had become totally embarrassed again just by being carried in that way.*
Bubba: "Oh come on Catnap! You just look too adorable like that, you almost look like a bride!"
Bobby: "But you're still missing the veil, or are you expecting someone else to put that on you? *she joked, as everyone laughed except Catnap, who was still feeling embarrassed.*
Hoppy:so it's official then?
Dogday and catnap are getting married?
Catnap:we are not getting married!
*The whole group found the idea of Dogday and Catnap getting married as a little bit funny, but the cat clearly wasn't enjoying the idea of it, as he immediately denied the statement, while the doggo was also trying to laugh it off. Despite being embarrassed, they all had a good laugh at the cat's reaction.*
Bobby: "Cmon Catnap, don't be like that, no need for you to hide the truth by denying it, we all know it!"
Kickin: "I'm sure dogday would love to marry you, Catnap."
Catnap:stop!
I thought we were gonna have a picnic, not talk about marriage!?
Bubba: "Yeah, maybe it's a little too soon to talk about marriage."
Bobby: "Especially since Dogday hasn't even asked Catnap to marry him yet."
Kickin: "But you have to admit that they would make a really cute couple."
*This conversation between the three of them got Dogday really embarrassed, as he couldn't help but blush at their jokes regarding the marriage, since he was starting to see Catnap as more than a friend for some time now.*
Catnap:can we just go...?
Picky:okay okay, we'll go now
I have a lot of food to cook!
Hoppy:I can't wait!
I'm really hungry rn
*At this point everyone agreed to go to the playcare so they could also start preparing for the picnic, so everyone got up and started following Picky outside of the room since she was the one cooking this time.*
Bubba: "I'm also very hungry."
Bobby: "Yeah, it looks like we are gonna have a really nice brunch this time at the picnic."
Kickin: "I'm so hungry I could eat a whole cow."
*They were walking to the playcare, dogday still carrying catnap*
*They eventually got there, as Picky went to the Kitchen to cook food for the picnic, while bobby and crafty went to grab the things for the picnic, kickin and bubba went to choose a place for it, leaving catnap and dogday alone*
Catnap:....
Dogday: "So, uh..."
*The doggo went a bit silent, feeling a bit awkward since he had ended up alone with Catnap once more. For some reason he felt even more awkward than when they had first met one on one, maybe it's because of how things had really changed between them now. The doggie had no idea how to fill the silence between him and Catnap, so he kept quiet for a bit, as he hoped Catnap would say something first.*
*Catnap just layed his head on dogday's shoulder, wrapped his arms around Dogday's neck, closed his eyes and said*
Catnap:wake me up when the picnic starts.....
*Dogday was surprised by Catnap's gesture, as the kitty suddenly just rested his head on Dogday's shoulder, wrapped his arms around his neck, and wanted to be woken up when the picnic started, to make it as if he was just sleeping peacefully in his arms. The doggo was honestly happy to see Catnap become slightly more affectionate, and decided to simply play along with Catnap's wishes.*
*The doggo gently petted Catnap's head, as Dogday decided to stay quiet until the picnic started as well.*
*after a bit, bubba, crafty, kickin and bobby came back with the spot for the picnic to happen and the things necessary for it, all that was left was the food, which picky was taking care of it, meanwhile the others noticed catnap and dogday*
*As everyone was coming back, they saw Catnap's head laying on Dogday's shoulder, which got some of their attention, as they had noticed the cat's affection toward the doggo. They all thought that what they were seeing was quite cute and some of them just giggled slightly in silence seeing their friends acting this way.*
Kickin: "Aw, they look so cute together."
Crafty: "The way he's sleeping peacefully on Dogday's arms is precious."
Bubba: "They are probably feeling super comfortable around one another now."
*Dogday was embarrassed with catnap's actions*
*It was cute to see that Catnap seemed to feel really comfortable around Dogday to the point of falling asleep, but all this cuteness had caused Dogday to become slightly embarrassed. Even if he was happy about Catnap being that affectionate, it was still really awkward for the doggo to witness, as he couldn't help but blush a little when he saw everyone looking at them both in this position of affection.*
*then, picky came back with a basket full of food*
Picky:I'm back!
So, where's the picnic gonna be?
Bubba:me and kickin found a place under a tree, follow us
*The doggo, still feeling slightly embarrassed, quickly looked at Catnap before saying anything, who was still on his shoulder, just waiting for the picnic to start. This made Dogday laugh a little bit, as it was as if Catnap had no plans of moving on his own, as if he wanted to be carried by the doggo the whole time.*
Dogday: "I guess we are going to be having our picnic underneath that tree." *he pointed at a nearby tree, that seemed to be a nice place to sit down for awhile.*
*they all followed bubba and kickin while talking, as they got to the tree, crafty and bobby put the picnic towel on the ground and they all sat on it, catnap was still asleep on dogday's arms, so tecnically he was sitting on dogday's lap side ways, since his tail was long, it wrapped itself around dogday's arm, bobby chuckle at seeing this happen*
Crafty:c'm on catnap
It's time for the picnic to start
Catnap:5 more minutes....
*Bobby was amused by Catnap's reaction, as he didn't seem to be wanting to get off of Dogday's lap and preferred to keep sleeping there, as he asked for five more minutes before he would wake up. Dogday seemed to be just fine with the kitty still napping on him, as he had decided to stay quiet for now, letting Catnap get all the rest he needed.*
Kickin: "We could let him sleep if he wants, I mean, the poor thing has gone through a lot of trouble."
*they decided to just let catnap sleep while they started eating and talking wig each other*
*After about 20 minutes catnap woke up, but he still didn't get off of dogday, he simply used his tail to grab the food cause he was to lazy to move, he took his arms off of around dogday's neck grabbing the sandwich that he took with his tail, still in the same place, with his head on dogday's shoulder, he just stared at the others while they talked and just ate the sandwich in silence*
*Catnap was now awake, and for some reason he didn't seem to want to get off of Dogday's lap, which made Bobby a bit curious about this fact. It also made Dogday feel a bit flattered, as he really enjoyed the company of Catnap.*
*Dogday watched Catnap eating, which was cute since the kitty was taking the food with his tail, it also was funny since he didn't move from his own position, which just made the doggo slightly chuckle.*
Bobby: "Is he planning on staying in that position the whole time?"
Hoppy:probably
Crafty:hey catnap!
Catnap:hm?
*He looked at them with curiosity*
Kickin:when's your and dogday's wedding?*laughs*
Catnap:tomorrow.*joking*
*He just went back to eating his sandwich, as they others went silence and stared at him*
*Hearing Catnap reply to their jokes about Dogday and Catnap's wedding as if it were going to happen the next day made everyone burst into laughter, as they were really amused by Catnap's sarcasm, but they all didn't actually think that the kitty would really marry the doggo at any point in the near future.*
Bubba: "Oh god, now I actually have to buy a cake as a wedding gift!"
Bobby: "I'm gonna get them something to match their bed!"
Kickin: "I guess I have to make some funny little rings for them!"
Catnap:make it a red velvet cake
*The doggo was laughing with the kitties' answer regarding any possible future wedding, as the kitty had basically given the exact details of what he would want for his wedding if it ever came to happen. To be honest, even Dogday was starting to seriously consider that it was gonna happen in the near future, as he was slowly falling in love with Catnap.*
Bubba: "So I guess we should actually get all the details for the wedding ready then."
Kickin: "And we should choose some decorations too for their potential new home together."
Catnap:make it a purple, white and orange theme

*Catnap said as he took another bite of his sandwich*
*Everyone was so amused by the way Catnap already got prepared in case a wedding actually happened, as they all felt like it was going really well if that were to be the case with the doggo and the kitty. Catnap clearly had thought about that possibility for some time before this.*
Kickin: "So how much do you want to spend on the wedding?"
Bobby: "I'm sure Dogday will happily cover the costs, as long as it makes his partner happy."
Catnap:he's not my partner
*Yet*....
Plus I'm just "joking" about the whole wedding thing
*The kitty's reply made some of the group laugh again, as he clearly wasn't taking this whole wedding thing seriously yet, but they all couldn't deny that his "jokes" actually could turn real sooner than later.*
Bobby: "Oh, so now you want to add 'yet' to that answer?"
Kickin: "If you keep this kind of jokes, Dogday is gonna end up proposing for real."
Catnap:kind hoping he does
Cause I ain't doing it
*Dogday just stayed quiet hearing how much Catnap wished that he proposed for real. The doggo wasn't ready to make any big moves yet, but he was getting gradually more and more certain that he would soon ask the kitty to officially be his boyfriend. So, hearing Catnap say that he wished that he did made him feel a bit more motivated to do that.*
*The doggo smiled and stayed quiet after Catnap's reply, as he just enjoyed the moment that the kitty was spending in his lap.*
