i'm currently writing chapter 13, and hopefully by the time I start on chapter fourteen chapter 8 will be published, ik weird type of thing.

OK IM GOING IN DEPTH ON MY POSTING SITUATION
So basically in my mind, I've created a system, where I always need to be 6 chapters ahead.
As an example for what I mean; as stated earlier, I'm writing chapter 13, yet you'll see I've only published to chapter 7, so once I'm writing, or finished writing chapter 14, I'll post chapter 8 and so on. So like I said I want to be 6 chapters ahead in writing from what's published.
Why? I know I'm prone to get major writers block, so im preparation, I'm doing this, so that if i does hit me, I'll have a few chapters to be posting while I garner motivation and ideas back!

OKKKK SOO GIRLIESSSS, WE HIT 3K READSSSS
This is insane, every time we hit another milestone I have to sit and think that this book has been opened at least 3 thousand times. In February we had hit 1K, and thought I forgot to have a celebration for 2K I'm sure it didn't happen too long after that. I've taken a break on writing, mentally preparing myself to go back to school again, but I assure you once I get back to school and get back to being bored in my math class I'll think of so many more details to create chapters of the plot points i created already. Anyways...

AND AGAIN TY TO MY BAES WHO LIKE COMMENT AND VOTE, THEY ACTUALLY LIKE HELP ME WRITE MORE. ALSO YOU GUYS NEED TO START YELLING AT ME TO WRITE BECAUSE IM SUCH A PROCRASTINATOR. Anyways we still have like 80 million chapters to go, I'll see you when they're there!!!

IT SEEMS IT'S ONLY BEEN 4 MONTHS SINCE WE'VE REACH 3K READS, which is why I'm so utterly grateful that in those four months we've been able to hit 4K reads now. It's now a common tradition I offer my gratitude for each new thousand reads, and now it seems I have something to gift back.
With the recent change of face claim, which changes graphics, I've had to make a change of a trailer of course. No, cause the old would would just not do! So in honor of 4K reads, with 150 new ones in the last few days might I add I present you a new trailer I've put together!
I'm working on chapter 15 as of now, and can't wait to round off this book with around 20-22 chapters, we're almost nearing the end! And we're halfway there!
To my avid readers, even if you don't vote or comment, just know I see you and I appreciate you, you are the motivation I have to keep writing!

so, This book have officially hit 5 thousand reads.
wow.
I'm honor of this mile stone i'm not even sure what to do, because now we're only half way to 10k reads which seemed so far away. As we approach 2024 i realize it'll actually be 2 years since i started writing this fic, and it's already been one year as of yesterday since i've republished it.

It's been crazily long but i still can't believe where we are now!!

So no one was going to tell me we hit 6K? Holy shit thank you! It's only been three months but we've gone from 3K reads to doubling that within that time, and I just, wow.
I know I haven't posted in a while, and I am trying to work on chapter 15, but it's taking me some time to get over the next couple of chapters. I would like you to know that we may only have 5-7 chapters left in the story after chapter 15 is posted, and hopefully it will be, along with 13 and 14.
I have taken a break from writing my moon and I have been over on tumblr working on Remus one shots, which and I'm also posting over here! So If you'd like more shorter, but frequent content check out my book Moon Song! Which is a collection of those little oneshots!
(this sentence I'm writing a few hours later, but I've written another 1K words for chapter 15 so maybeee a new chapter will finally come out soon ;)

so who tf was gonna tell me that we hit 7K reads? NONE OF YOU! THIS IS PURE INSANITY-LUNACY, PURE LUNACY
for those who are keeping up I'd like you to know that I'm trying my darn hardest to complete chapter 16, and start chapter 17 so that I can get chapter 14 out to you all. (I know, what whack ass scheduling and organization I got going for myself, but it keeps me in check so.)
Maybe I've putting off these chapters because soon it'll be the end of book 1, but it's Remus' birthday in a month so I'M GONNA TRY AND PUSH THROUGH

2 year anniversary celebration

So, many people do not know this, but My Moon was never originally published on Christmas Eve of 2022.
Over two years ago I was in desperate need of running away from the regular Harry Potter fandom, commonly related to TERF bitch J.K. R*wling. I stumbled far into the Marauders fandom, past the first layer of what it seemed to be just looking upon it. It wasn't just a little cute subculture! It was a queer asf, feminist, men of my dreams and of the highest standards little happy place!! Omg yes queen slay house boots down devour 8+20 minus 12 divided by 2= ate purr squared.
I'm going insane
Anyways, I wasn't that far into the fandom, but what I was head over heels for was Mister Moony. I had been dealing with a great deal of writing block, every idea I had would fizzle out, and I could never develop a whole plot well, let alone find an audience to read it. So, during that period I finally rekindled my love of writing with a new idea sparked in my head.
And on March 10th, 2022, I created a draft on Wattpad. I had no idea that it was Remus' birthday, but I'll just call it fate.
I had released the first few chapters, they had little reads, and I was still dealing with terrible writer's block. So I unpublished it and left the series alone for half a year before coming back to it in December later that year. That was when I published it for good, truly started working on it, and it finally took off.
But at its core, the entire complicated plot and love story you'll all get to know very well, very soon, was created today two years ago. So happy birthday Remus, and Happy birthday to My Moon!
HELLO, YOU'VE MADE IT TO THE END. You may have noticed that the celebrations for 8K and 9K are missing, and that is because I simply didn't make a celebration post. I was anticipating the day, that underneath the title of my book, would display the number 10K, and today is that day. I'm giving my thanks for this milestone and the past too.
I have gained more support for this book in the past month than it has ever had before! Since we hit 4K back in December, this book has been skyrocketing ever since, almost as if I've been gifted a new thousand reads each month, which to me is still insane! I've been almost very actively writing ever since! I'm proud to say it only takes me a few weeks to finish a chapter instead of months, (the standards are at the ground).
I have been developing and adding and filling in the details of Mila and Remus' story since two years ago, and knowing now that there are at least a handful of people who would like to follow them as well is so encouraging and heartwarming! Knowing My Moon is displayed on the second page when searching Remus Lupin is crazy.
Though I do have to note that these posts for every single new thousand read we hit will now come to a close, and these thank you's will start coming more rarely, say every new 5K or 10K. The more readers that come through, the more compelled I am to write, and the less time I have to say the bigger thank you's that come along. You all are awesome.
Now, we're many chapters in and my babies still haven't kissed, but I'd love to tell you all that their first kiss is currently the chapter I am preparing to start 🤭 Chapter 18 (not yet published), I must tell you all, started off as a scenario I've dreamt up in my head, and it spiraled out into a whole love story. We're at 10K reads, and I only need to write three more chapters until I'm done with this book. (Maybe that's why it's taking me four days to even write the first line of chapter 18...)
To everyone still reading till now, this is only the beginning. You're scheduled for an estimated 3-4 books, so strap in, a seatbelt would hold you enough. The only reason I can look ahead to writing those books is because you all, the strength to my motivation and support, and the ones who keep pushing me to do what I love, writing.
I am forever grateful to anyone who reads my work. Thank you.
