a year ago, your friend/sibling had died in your arms trying to protect you. it was hard to move on and handle the grief of losing them. very difficult in fact. you were very close with them after all. however, you handled your grief differently than others.
lately, you've been... talking to them for the past few months. as if they were right there in front of you. every night, you've been talking to them, as if nothing ever happened. they only came around when you were alone. they had wanted to talk to you more and you were fine with it, since you didn't want to see them ago.
however, there was one person who grew more and more worried for you.
and that person was (crush). they knew about the death, and they were really worried for you, seeing how you were handling all of this. that same day, you were chatting away with your friend/sibling like nothing happened. however, you didn't know that (crush) was coming by to visit you.
once you had opened the door for (crush), they had headed in, but gave you a confused look. your friend/sibling wasn't there anymore.
