Moving on can be a difficult decision to make when faced with constant rejection. For Lisa, it has been a heartbreaking process, especially that she have strong feelings for Jen who has been rejecting her. However, she reminded herself that it's important to prioritize your own happiness and well-being and know when it's time to move on.
So ever since she made that promise, she never talked to Jennie again. She ignores her completely, like she doesn't know her.

Lisa walked through the hallway towards her next class. As she turned the corner, she saw Jennie talking to her friends.
Jennie was looking at her strangely, as if she was trying to figure out why Lisa was avoiding her. Lisa could feel her heart racing as she tried to ignore her and keep walking. But it was no use, Jennie kept looking at her as if she couldn't believe what she was seeing.
Lisa felt her feet trembling as she approached the staircase. She wanted to run away and hide, but she knew she couldn't. She had to face this moment head on.
She took a deep breath and walked up the stairs, trying to act as if nothing was wrong. Jennie was still staring at her, and Lisa could feel the tension in the air.
"You got this, Lisa." Lisa whispered to herself. She took a deep breath and was about to take another step when—
Sana was walking to class as usual when she suddenly spotted Lisa. Sana was surprised, but also happy to see her. She walked up to her and said, "Hey, Lisa! I didn't expect to see you here. Do you want to go to our class together?"
Lisa looked at Sana, then smiled. "Sure, Sana. Lead the way."
She's thankful that her friend came, but she can still feel a pair of eyes staring at her.
"I saw that." Sana whispered as she clings her arms on Lisa's.
Lisa arched her brow, "Saw what?"
Sana rolled her eyes, "Ugh, you know what I mean. But don't worry, I got you."
She winks at her friend and starts dragging her away.

As the math exam approaches, anxiousness floods the air. Students are hooked to their study notes, poring over equations in a desperate attempt to memorize them all. The sound of pencils scraping across paper is joined by the occasional sigh or groan. The pressure becomes obvious as the clock ticks and study hours pass. Despite the stress and tension, there is a sense of faith that if they study hard enough, they will do well on the exam.
While everyone else is anxiously studying, Lisa appears unbothered about the upcoming exam. She is quietly observing her classmates as they cram their lessons, their pencils leaving fast scratch marks on the paper. Despite the hustle and bustle of studying, Lisa appears to be prepared and relaxed. She seemed to have mastered all of the math topics that her classmates have not yet mastered.
Lisa's eyes scan the room, taking in the hectic activity of her classmates. She notices Jennie, who appears to be stressing to keep up. Lisa knows that her own time is valuable, and she cannot afford to be dragged down in order to help someone else. So she hesitantly goes away from Jennie and went towards her friend Sana, who also appears to be struggling.
Jennie noticed Lisa stand up, she was expecting her to come to her, perhaps ask if she needed help, knowing that Lisa is usually there to bother her. For her, it's annoying since she hates people talking to her, and then there's Lisa, who is insistent in garnering her attention, which irritates Jennie. As Jennie sees Lisa move towards her, she is ready to shove her away again, but what surprises her is Lisa's path, which is to her friend Sana, who is behind her table. Lisa didn't even give her a glance, instead looking at Sana and smiled.
Jennie was surprised that Lisa wasn't pestering her today, and she even pretended she didn't recognize her. Jennie furrowed her brow as she watched Lisa sitting alongside Sana.
"Do you need help?" Lisa smiles at Sana and offers to help her study.
Sana puts down her pencil with a frown, "Obviously, this shit is so hard, I might just give up."
Lisa laughed and took Sana's pen.
"Here, I'm going to teach you some of the methods I've learned so listen carefully. But before that, I have something to tell you." Lisa said.
"Huh? What is it?"
Lisa leaned forward and whispered, "Is it just me, or was Jennie looking at me earlier? Do you suppose she's confused about why I'm ignoring her?"
Sana squinted and whispered back, "Maybe? I mean, she's literally there in front of us, and she'll witness you walk past her."
Lisa hummed in response.
"And I'm proud of you! Look at you moving on. Great Job." She added.

The bell rings, indicating the end of the math subject and the start of gym class. As the students gather their books and head to the locker room, the air is filled with talks. People are talking about the math exam. They feel relieved because they know they won't have to focus about math for the next hour or so. Instead, they can get some exercise while also having some fun. The sound of the gym teacher's whistle breaks through the chatter as they begin to warm up for class.
As students approached the gym, they were welcomed by the cool whirr of basketballs bouncing off the walls and the squeaking of shoes on the floor. The smell of sweat and liniment filled the room as students began their warm-up activities. The gym teacher, a tall woman with short blonde hair, stood in the center of the gym, carrying a whistle and a stopwatch. She blew her whistle as students began to stretch, her voice bouncing off the walls.
As the students returned to the locker room, there was noticeable relief in the air. The exercise session had provided a pleasant relief from the stress of studying for the math exam. The sounds of lockers closing and backpacks opening filled the air as students prepared for the next class.
The other students had already left, leaving Jennie and Lisa alone in the locker area. Jennie was arranging her uniform and makeup, while Lisa had just completed putting her uniform. She was now fixing her things and placing them in her bag. The room was silent, with only Lisa's bag and Jennie's makeup making a low noise. It was awkward for Lisa, of course, especially since she is not used to not taking this chance to talk with Jennie. Lisa usually took advantage of these chances to speak with Jennie, but this time was different, and she wanted to leave the room as soon as possible.
And Jennie is aware of Lisa's sudden behavior of not speaking to her anymore. A part of her is relieved that she has finally realized that Jennie doesn't like her and would never give her a chance, but there is something more she is feeling that she does not want to admit right now.
Typically, after gym class, Lisa would wait for Jennie to finish her activity and offer her a bottle of water and a towel, even if she was met with straight away rejection. But now, Lisa doesn't seem to acknowledge Jennie's presence as she tries to appear busy and avoid looking at her.
Jennie, on the other hand, was unconsciously waiting for Lisa to say something, but nothing happened. This is new to her, Lisa has never gone a day, hour, minute, or second without speaking to her, even if she says harsh things.
So, why does Jennie expect her to talk? Isn't that what she wants?
And before she knew it, Jennie was alone in the locker room while Lisa made her way outside.
Jennie was confused, there was clearly something wrong, and she wanted to know about it.
Isn't this what she wanted? For Lisa to leave her alone? This frustrates her, and she has no idea why she is concerned, after all, she should be celebrating, right?
As Jennie went out of the locker room, she spotted Lisa talking with their classmates outside. She looked at her with furrowed brows, and Lisa may have sensed someone looking at her, so she averted her head. Surprised, she caught Jennie looking at her again. Lisa's smile faded, and her gaze steadily shifted away from her.
Jennie scoffs, "What's wrong with her?" She thought as she watched Lisa wave goodbye to their classmates before dragging Sana away with her.
Suddenly, Jennie got mad as an incident flashed through her head, and she grabbed her handbag tightly while staring at Lisa's back.
A girl suddenly patted Jennie's shoulder, and Jennie snapped her head in anger.
"What?!" Jennie exclaimed, staring at the girl.
"Woah, Jen, calm down! Why are you so angry? I'm about to invite you for a snack. You seem to be furious, and I can see smoke pouring from your ears and nose." She joked.
"You're stupid, you know that?" Jennie rolled her eyes.
"Why so harsh to your cousin, huh? Are you saying that you're stupid too because we're blood related?"
"Shut the fuck up Kim Jisoo, I'm not in the mood!" Jennie replied and stormed out of the gym.
