Arjun was pacing in the hall with his gaze fixed on the closed room.
"What are they discussing about. It's almost an hour I think" Arjun murmured.
"Don't act as if my wife is going to murder yours" he rolled his eyes at Arjun
"I can no longer trust the person who is involved with you" Arjun said angrily
"I don't know what she saw in you" Veer said glancing at him
"You better keep your mouth shut if you want to return home safely" Arjun warned
"I know I am more charming than you. It won't be a surprise for me if Anamika too wants to leave you and come back to me" Veer smirked
Arjun was about to lunge at him but suddenly the door opened and they both came out with a smile on their face .
They were interacting with each other as if nothing happened.
Arjun and Veer both saw them and were dumbfounded.
"Weren't they angry with each other?" Veer whispered
"I think something is wrong with them" Arjun murmured
"How is it possible?" Arjun thought
Anamika lifted her head and stood beside Arjun.
"Is everything fine?" Arjun asked
"Yea and after knowing everything I understood it was not just her fault but we all were guilty" she said and her eyes softened
"Arjun I.. " before Sukanya could say anything Arjun showed his palm and stopped her.
"She might forgive you but I won't" he replied
"Though I am thankful because of you I found a precious diamond" he replied with his gaze fixed on Anamika.
Anamika felt her cheeks heating up. Sukanya's face fell she knew she had hurt him.
Veer was observing her. His jaw ticked when he saw her guilty expression. He was envious of Arjun.
The attention he wanted was given to someone else.
"Now if you have already met her let's go our home" Veer said in a flat tone.
Sukanya nodded and hugged Anamika before leaving.
After they left. Arjun went to his chamber directly without sparing her a glance.
She knew Arjun might be upset with her. She followed him to his room and went inside.
He opened the buttons of the kurta and pulled it out throwing it on the floor.
He was standing there shirtless, the veins of his hands were visible.
Anamika was staring at him.
"Itna bhi gussa nhi krna chaiye" she said picking the kurta from the floor.
[It's not good to get angry]
"Aur itni jaldi maaf bhi nhi krna chaiye" he replied
[And you shouldn't forgive others so easily]
"Agar puri baat aapko pta chalega toh shayad aap bhi unhe maaf kr de" she slowly said
[If you get to know the whole story then you might not have the same opinion]
"Hum aapke tarha Mahan nhi hai" he replied
[I am not as great as you]
Anamika held his wrist and pulled him toward the bed.
He sat there along with Anamika.
"Ek baar bs puri baat sun lijye" she requested
[Just listen the whole thing first]
Arjun sighed helplessly and nodded at her to continue.
She told the whole story to him. Many expression came and went from his face. It was hard for him to digest everything for him.
He stood up and silently left the room. He needed time to think clearly.
Time went by and six more months passed.
In this few months Arjun and Anamika forgave Sukanya. Anamika informed about her pregnancy to the family everyone was excited for the new member.
Veer hardly came with Sukanya. Their relationship was still complicated. Many misunderstandings were yet to be cleared.
Anamika was laughing at something along with Sukanya when suddenly she felt a strong pain in her abdomen.
She cried in pain Sukanya understood it was contraction. She hurriedly informed the maids to call the midwife and prepare hot water for her.
Anamika went inside a chamber and the midwife entered. Anamika was crying in pain because of the contraction. Her forehead was covered with sweat. She was holding Sukanya's hand tightly.
"Sab thik ho jayega bs thora Der aur himmat rakhiye" Sukanya was supporting her.
[Everything will be fine just don't lose hope]
"Aah..." Anamika screamed
Here on the other hand Arjun was pacing outside the chamber. He was getting impatient with every passing minute.
When suddenly the door opened and a lady came out
"Badhai ho beta hua hai" She smiled
[Congratulations its a boy]
Arjun eyes became red, he was getting emotional . A maid came with a baby wrapped in clothes.
She passed it to him Arjun carefully took him in his arms and saw his little bundle of joy sleeping peacefully.
Everyone came one by one and saw the baby. He was very small with small fingers and was pinkish in color, his skin was as soft as cotton.
Ranisa, Maharaj Prithviraj and Ranvijay everyone took the baby in the arms and were busy with it.
Arjun went inside and saw Anamika lying in the bed exhausted and weak.
He took her hand in his and placed a soft kiss on her forehead.
"Thank you for completing my family"
"I am one of the luckiest man today with my wife beside me and a part of my life in my arms"
"Without you both I am nothing " he said
Anamika slowly opened her eyes and smiled weakly.
"Where is my child?" She asked in her weak voice
Arjun placed the child beside her. She turned and saw with tear filled eyes.
"He is soo small"
"What if I hurt him" she panicked
"Nothing will happen we are there to guide you don't worry" Sumitra ji said and kissed her forehead.
Sukanya was standing at a corner. Anamika saw her and indicated her to come closer. She hesitantly walked towards her.
"You are her maasima too don't you want to hold him?" Anamika asked
Sukanya nodded but was still hesitant. She slowly took him in her arms at the moment the baby slowly opened his eyes he was curiously looking at her.
"See even he was waiting for her masima's chance" Anamika chuckled
After few days a naming ceremony was held everyone was invited.
Anamika was getting ready when suddenly a pair of arms wrapped on her waist.
She turned around and saw Arjun in his royal look. He was in a peacock green color kurta with a metal bracelet on his hands.
"Kya kr rahey der ho rahi chalye sab a gye honge" she whisper yelled at him
[What are you doing we are getting late let's go guests might have arrived]
"Aapko hamare alawa sab ki fikr hai kabhi ek nazar hume bhi dekh liya kijye" he flirted
[You are worried about everone except me at least spare me a glace for once[
"Thora toh sharm kijye baap ban chuke hai" She punched him lightly on his chest.
[Have some shame , you are already a father now ]
"Sharm kiya hota toh aaj wo yha kaise hota" he winked
[If I would have been shy then he won't have been here]
"Besharm" she said and walked out smiling.
[Shameless]
"Arey hamari baat suniye toh" Arjun teased her further in return her cheeks turned more red.
Both of them were then called cause the priest had already arrived. They went together with the baby on Anamika's hand.
They did the rituals and the Priest asked to name the child with the letter l.
"Lakshya" Anamika whispered.
Arjun heard her and said loudly
"Hamare bete ka naam lakshya hoga"
[My son's name would be lakshya]
Everyone agreed with the name and sweets were distributed among people.
"Chalo accha hai kisie ka toh parevaar Pura hua" Veer taunted
[It's good atleast someone got his family]
"Akhir aapko hum sab se kya pareshani hai" Arjun asked in frustration. His mood soured as soon as he entered the palace.
[What is your problem with us?]
"Verakshi...kuch yaad aaya" Veer asked with his gaze fixed on Sumitra ji and Maharaj Prithviraj.
[Verakshi...do you remember]
The color from their face drained and their eyes went wide.
"Are you..." Prithviraj tried to speak when he got his answer
"Yes" he replied with eyes filled with hatred.

I know I have left you all in suspense.
Well the story was about Arjun and Anamika and they got their happy ending.
I am thinking of writing a separate story for Veer and Sukanya as well but firstly I have to clear about Verakshi.
And I might think of writing about Swarnika and Ranvijay as their story also needs a happy ending.
