As the scientists made their way down to the pool area, yet again, they were so tired and dragged the hose behind them. "Now he wants us to fill it again?! He just drained it AND put up a wall to secure that waste of a ride!" complained one of the scientists as the others stayed quiet and connected the hose to the tank and turned the valve releasing the water into the pool. "Now we wait.." the lead scientist says as he sits on the ground and leans his head back flowing his eyes. "Take shifts everyone, we will be here for a while" he says as the rest follow his lead to get sleep, but one stays up to water the water. "This will take a long time" as she looked at the whole width of the pool and how much water pressure is coming from the hose. "Hey it's not strange though.. why would he want the Smiling Critters in this pool, but not the kids?" asked one of the scientists. "Maybe it's because of the scratching that goes from the filter?" suggests a scientist but she gets odd looks from the others. "Scratching?" they all look at her with interest "yeah, when I was cleaning the filter, I seen orange and yellow fur in it, I had asked Dogday about it, and Kickin Chicken, but the two said they didn't use the big pool" she tried to explain, but then one scientist piped up "do you think the scratching could also be the thing that growled at me when I cleaned the filter?" he asked in a small voice making everyone look his way. "What do you mean?" she asks the younger male and he explains "when I was cleaning the filter the other day something in the filter was growling, and what sounded like gurgling as well" he explains as another scientist's head shoots up "wait, so something's living in the filter, something that can scratch, growl, and what, maybe is drowning in the water?" he asks as the scientist's all look at each other. "So... what could it be?" he asks as none of them have a clue.
