Lisa was sitting in the library, reading a book, when one of the most popular girls in school walked up to her. Her name was Jisoo, and she was known for her beauty and popularity.

Lisa had never even talked to her before, so she was surprised when Jisoo invited her to her party.

Jisoo said, "Hey there, Lisa. My family and I are throwing a huge party at our mansion this weekend. It's going to be the party of the year. Would you like to come as my guest?"

Lisa was stunned. She couldn't believe it. She never thought Jisoo would even notice her, let alone invite her to her party. She was torn between wanting to go and wanting to stay home and be alone.

"I don't know.. I guess I'll think about it later." Lisa replied.

Jisoo showed her a smile, "No problem! The party's gonna be fun, make sure you'll go okay? See ya!"

"What do you mean you'll think about it? I thought you're moving on? Well this is a great thing." Sana punched her lightly.

"Well, you're right... Okay, I'll go if you'll go."

Sana clapped her hands and smiled, "Of course!"

She finally decided to go, and when the day of the party came, she showed up at the mansion looking beautiful and confident.

As Lisa walked through the mansion, she could hear the music and laughter coming from the main room. She walked in, and she was amazed. The mansion was huge, with beautiful furniture and artwork everywhere. There were people everywhere, talking, dancing, and having a good time. Lisa felt a bit overwhelmed at first, but she soon settled in.

As Lisa and Sana made their way through the crowd, they saw Jisoo across the room. Jisoo was surrounded by a group of her friends, all wearing matching outfits. Jisoo saw Lisa and waved her over.

"Lisa, I'm so glad you could make it!" Jisoo said, giving her a hug. "This party is going to be epic."

Lisa felt a wave of relief wash over her. She was glad that Jisoo approached her.

Lisa smiled, "Hey, thanks for inviting me. I also brought my friend, Sana. Is that okay with you?"

"Oh, no problem! This party's open for everyone. Anyways, if you guys need me I'm just at the dance floor. Enjoy the night, guys!" Jisoo happily welcomed them.

"C'mon Lisa, you heard her. Let's enjoy this night!" Sana happily dragged Lisa into the bar area and asked for drinks. Lisa doesn't drink alcohol, but tonight's different. She's here to have fun.

"Give me one more!" Lisa shouted, and Sana laughed as she gave her a glass of whiskey once again.

~Later~

Lisa was feeling the effects of the alcohol, and her vision was starting to get a little cloudy. She stumbled through the party, looking for Sana, but she couldn't find her. As she made her way through the crowded room, she realized she needed to use the bathroom. She spotted a door, and quickly went inside.

Little did she know, the door she chose led to one of Jisoo's relatives' rooms. She opened the door and entered the dimly lit room, not realizing what she had done until it was too late. She stumbled over to the toilet and started vomiting. The room was filled with the sound of her muffled vomit.

Lisa was feeling extremely drunk. She couldn't see straight and her legs were weak. She stumbled and fell on the bed. She felt a strong urge to vomit again, but she couldn't find the strength to get off the bed. She laid there, feeling helpless and miserable.

Suddenly, the door to the room opened and someone walked in. Lisa couldn't see who it was because the room was dimly lit. She tried to speak, but her voice was too weak to be heard. She laid there, feeling hopeless.

Suddenly, the person approached her, but Lisa couldn't recognize her.

"Ijuswanna seep." Lisa couldn't even talk properly.

The person was taken aback to see her on her bed, extremely drunk. She despises it when people barge into her room, especially if they are not close to her and are obviously drunk. But, seeing Lisa's state, the person simply stood by the side of the bed, carefully studying the drunk girl on her bed. She was amused by her behavior but also intrigued as to how she had ended up here.

Lisa, on the other hand, was trying to see the girl next to her but was too drunk to open her eyes. So she gave up and closed her eyes, but she was still awake. The girl leaned carefully closer Lisa's face, as if she was still examining her. She has no idea why she is doing it actually.

"Yousmell gsds" Lisa once again muttered.

The girl tilt her head, she doesn't know what the drunk girl's saying.

"What?" She asked.

Lisa finally opened her eyes, and smiled maniacally at the sight.

Lisa's thoughts was now consumed by the girl's image due to her drunkenness. Hot, gorgeous, and sexy. Lisa suddenly placed her hand on the girl's nape, softly bringing her closer. The other girl's eyes widened, clearly startled by the action. But before she could react and back away, Lisa had smashed her lips on the girl. The girl widened her eyes and froze in place. She could feel soft, lush lips on hers. She just froze, and their lips remained locked. Lisa pulled her closer, tilting her head and deepening the kiss. She moved her lips, but the other girl stayed in stunned silence and did not move.

After Lisa pulled out, she already fell asleep.

"You're dead.. Manoban." The girl whispered.

_____

Lisa lay there, feeling groggy and confused. She tried to sit up, but a sharp pain shot through her head and she winced. She could hear murmurings and voices around her, but she couldn't make out what they were saying.

She lay back down, feeling dizzy and nauseous. Her head was pounding and her stomach felt like it was in knots. She closed her eyes and tried to block out the noise around her.

Suddenly, she felt a warm, soft hand on her forehead. She opened her eyes and saw Sana leaning over her.

"You're here," Lisa said weakly, her voice barely above a whisper.

"Of course I am," Sana replied. "You were so drunk last night. Do you remember throwing up in one of the rooms?"

Lisa felt a wave of embarrassment wash over her. "I don't remember much. I'm sorry, Sana. I don't know what happened."

Sana sighed. "It's okay, Lisa. These things happen. Just take it easy today, okay? And maybe lay off the alcohol for a while."

Lisa nodded weakly. She felt grateful to Sana for taking care of her, but she also felt guilty for putting her in such a position. She vowed to make it up to her somehow.

"Yeah.. After I called my brother to get your enormous ass off of Jisoo's mansion, you owe me a wingstop. And oh, you'll be shocked when you find out who asked me to come grab you from one of the rooms—"

Lisa covered Sana's lips with her hand as she complained that she was talking too much.

"You talk too much, clever, and my head is still hurting. I feel like I'm about to throw up again, so please leave me here for a little while. I already thanked you for taking care of me."

"Okay but you literally have to know this—"

"No, I've heard enough. Now please give me space!" Lisa groaned.

"Excuse me? This is my house, and I will not take orders from you." Sana crossed her arms.

"Pfft, fine. We'll talk later, just leave me alone for a moment." Lisa replied.

Sana sighed, "Okay nevermind, just clean yourself up and come downstairs, I cooked food for you."

_____

Lisa sighed deeply when Sana had left. She looked for her phone and was surprised to see her notifications. She realized what day it was and stood up swiftly, despite her painful head.

"Shit, Manoban, you are so fucked up."

She keeps cursing at herself, and this is the day that her parents have scheduled a family date with their business partners. Lisa is the only child, thus her presence is really important. She looked at the time and cursed again because it was now 3 p.m. and their meeting was scheduled for 4:00. She's certainly fucked up.

Sana saw her friend rapidly fixing her things as she went downstairs; it seems like she is in a hurry.

"Hey, I made a soup for you!"

Sana called her, but Lisa simply smiled and said, "I am so sorry, Sana. But my parents have something major planned for today, and I need to be there. Don't worry; I'll still give you wingstop. Thank you for taking care of me, luv ya!"

Sana didn't have time to respond because Lisa had already dashed away. Sana shook her head; if Lisa had told her, she would have woken her up early in the morning.

                              ______

The restaurant is bustling with people, the hustle and bustle of patrons eating, talking, and dining. Lisa's family's business friends have all arrived, and they're sitting at a large table together, chatting and catching up. They look up as Lisa approaches, their expressions changing from neutral to warm and welcoming.

"There she is, finally!" Lisa's mother exclaims, motioning for her to come join them. Lisa makes her way over to the table, feeling the eyes of the business friends upon her. She takes the remaining seat at the table, feeling a bit overwhelmed by the crowd.

Her family, however, makes her feel at ease. They ask her about her school projects, her new friends, and her latest activities. They also talk with her about the family's business, and Lisa listens intently, trying to catch up with all the updates.

Despite the busy restaurant, there is a sense of comfort and familiarity that comes with being surrounded by family and friends. Lisa is grateful for the opportunity to spend time with them, and she feels a sense of belonging as she laughs and shares stories with those around her.

As the dinner progresses, the conversation becomes more relaxed and enjoyable. Lisa feels like she's part of a group, and she feels at home sitting among people who care about her and her family. The night goes on with food, fun, and laughter, and Lisa feels content knowing that she has a solid support system in place.

The restaurant was abuzz with the chattering of business partners and their families, everyone enjoying a delightful meal. Suddenly, a girl entered, causing heads to turn as her presence was felt. Lisa watched as the room became quiet as everyone stopped to admire her stunning appearance. She was dressed beautifully, with a radiant smile on her face.

But what caught Lisa's attention was when she heard the business partners' voices calling the girl their daughter. She could barely believe her ears as she looked at her. She was none other than Jennie!

Jennie didn't notice Lisa at first as she went to greet her parents. When she sat down at the table across from Lisa, she noticed her and raised an eyebrow in curiosity. Lisa was shocked to see her here, and she didn't know what to say.

"Mr. and Mrs. Manoban, this is our daughter, Jennie. She attends the same school and year as Lisa. She's the one I've been telling you will take over our firm soon! I hope we will be excellent partners someday, as well as with our daughters." Mr. Kim proudly introduced her only daughter.

Meanwhile, Lisa looked everywhere but Jennie. It was surprising to find her here, and if Lisa could have fled away, she would have done so if it hadn't been for her parents' business partners. The person she is avoiding is here. What a wonderful thing to happen. Lisa pretended to be busy by stirring her already cold meal.

"She's so pretty! Just like you, Mrs. Kim." Lisa's mom complimented.

"Same as your daughter! And oh, by the way, sweetie, do you know Lisa? Your schoolmate." Mrs. Kim said.

Jennie's fancy eyes shifted to Lisa, who was not even looking at her, but rather at her food. Jennie arched her brows; it's unusual to see Lisa not talking to her; she's always there to bother her, but today is different given that the latter doesn't even give her a single glance, as if she doesn't even notice her there.

"Yeah, I know her." Jennie replied, her eyes were still fixed on Lisa.

"Well that's great then!" Mrs. Manoban said.

Lisa felt eyes staring at her, so she looked up, only to regret it when she noticed a pair of eyes she had been ignoring. She quickly looked away. Jennie, on the other hand, scoffs when she sees Lisa's reaction. Lisa would normally ask Jennie gibberish or weird questions, but she is doing the exact opposite right now because she is quiet, which caught Jennie's interest.

"If Jen knows her, then Lisa knows her too. Am I right, honey?" Lisa's mother asked.

Lisa cleared her throat, obviously she knows her too well. Jennie's that cold, mean girl that rejected her so many times. Of course she knows her.

"Yeah, I guess?" Lisa replied shortly.

Jennie was wondering what had happened to this girl; the last she knew, Lisa was head over heels with her. Now it seems that she doesn't even talk to her. Jennie shook her head and continued to eat. A certain moment was running through her head, which bothered her slightly.

"Now, shall we get down to business? You see, me and the Manoban family are business partners. And, because you are our only daughters, we expect you to get along and be great partners someday, just like us."

Mr. Kim announced, and both the girls watched closely. Lisa has a feeling that something was already planned, and she is not surprised. What surprised her the most was the way Jennie's gaze remained focused on her. But Lisa seems uninterested; after all, she's moving on, right? Jennie is probably staring because she thinks she's weird.

Everyone was expecting for them to answer, and Jennie was the first one to react.

"Sure. I'm sure we'll be fine." Jennie answered, smiling at her parents.

Jennie has always been obedient to her parents and wanted them to be proud of her. So she does exactly what she says.
As she answered, she looked at Lisa, who appeared uninterested. She raised her brow , Lisa was acting strangely.

After Jennie spoke, Lisa merely nodded.

"Yes, sir." She replied.

Lisa watched Jennie smiling for the first time, as she usually sees Jennie angry and annoyed. Lisa's heart sinks as she remembers her previous rejection by the girl.

Right, she rejected you. Many times, Lisa. She doesn't like you. As a friend or even as a person that she knows. Get it together, Lisa. Move on. Forget about her.

Lisa breathed deeply, today's the start of change. No more chasing, no more rejection, and definitely no more hurting.
