He sinks to the floor, covering his mouth in a desperate attempt to swallow the tears that come with it. His whole body was shaking, and he was breathing so fast and desperate for air. Maybe if he died in this room, it would be better than dying underneath the shocked gaze of Lucifer once he found out what he had done.
Oh Lucifer, he thought, I'm so sorry.
The chains of his eternal leash are tight at his neck, but they relax in amusement to what he had done. He wanted them to suffocate him. The tears come and he can't bite them back anymore. He brings his knees to his chest and cries. The isolation and guilt eat at him but he keeps it inside him, wrapping himself into a tight ball and pushing his back against the wall. He better be used to the absence of Lucifer, his smiles, his arms, his warmth.
