As Devyn prowled through the hallways, a sinister grin etched across her face, the weaker students trembled and crumbled beneath her malevolent presence. The stronger ones fought valiantly against her wicked influence, struggling to resist her ill-intentioned power.

With a merciless grip, Devyn seized a girl by the neck, her elongated nails piercing into her victim's eyes, extracting the eyeballs with sadistic delight. Feasting upon her gruesome prize, she reveled in the terror-stricken screams that erupted from the girl.

"Argh!!!!!" Her helpless screams filled the air.

Devyn's depravity knew no bounds as she swiftly tore out the girl's tongue and severed her head from her neck, casually discarding the lifeless body.

"Tasty!" she muttered in her deep, bass voice, licking off the blood on her fingers.

Basking in her newfound power, Devyn reveled as more souls gravitated towards her, their collective energy fueling her strength and dominance.

"What madness is this?!" Reva exclaimed, materializing amidst the chaotic scene.

Her eyes caught the sight of the fallen students lying almost everywhere on the ground and she frowned.

"How nice of you to join the party" Devyn sneered, her grin widening.

"I don't join parties, I ruin them" Reva declared and sped to her.

A single intense glare from Reva sent Devyn hurtling through the air and crashing outside, but it failed to keep her subdued.

Her scorpion turned into a gigantic one, but Reva turned it into nothing but ashes with a spell.

"What have you done?" Devyn roared and sped towards her with the anger burning in her eyes.

"Devyn, as the queen of this school, I demand an end to this senseless violence" Lucinda proclaimed, striding purposefully towards the scene.

Devyn cackled malevolently, locking eyes with Lucinda.

"Stay out of this!" Reva warned.

"You should be the one doing that" Lucinda retorted.

"And if it isn't the weak witch" Devyn chuckled darkly.

"Shut up!" Lucinda growled, conjuring fireballs with swift precision.

However, instead of striking Devyn, the fireballs twisted and morphed, becoming a part of Devyn's arsenal as she flung them back towards Lucinda. The force of the attack sent Lucinda hurtling into the walls, her body crashing into them with a resounding thud.

"My baby!" Principal Hazel gasped, appearing suddenly, and rushed to Lucinda's side with concern etched on her face.

Meanwhile, Reva attempted to ensnare Devyn with a powerful spell, only to have it shattered as Devyn threw a poisoned dagger. In the frenzy of the attack, Reva received a shallow cut on her arm, causing anger to surge within her veins as she watched her blood trickle.

"I've had enough of this!" she snarled, her eyes glowing a fierce red.

Her untamed hair billowed in the wind swirling around her. Charging towards each other, Reva and Devyn engaged in a ferocious battle, their conflict unfolding from the ground to the air. The darkened sky and howling wind bore witness to the intensity of their clash.

A smile appeared on Lucien's face as he stood in the corner, witnessing the immense power emanating from Reva. He was captivated and pleased by her strength.

"She's one strong witch" Phoenix muttered in amazement beside him.

Vernon, observing the intense confrontation, felt a sense of urgency.

"Don't you think you should help her?" he asked Lucien.

"I believe she can handle it" Lucien shrugged.

"She may be capable, but Devyn has drained a lot of energy from students" Phoenix pointed out, expressing concern.

"This should be her lesson for talking rudely to me" Lucien smirked and folded his arms, watching the unfolding spectacle with pleasure.

Devyn's power of vision granted her the ability to anticipate most of Reva's attacks, allowing her to dodge with remarkable skill. Yet, Reva, determined to overpower her, chanted a powerful spell.

"By the power of death and life, let your bond be broken!" Reva's voice resonated with dark energy, causing the souls within Devyn's body to be drained.

"Argh!!!" Devyn's agonizing screams filled the air as the power within her began to wane.

She fought against the overwhelming force, but it seemed inevitable. The last remnants of her energy were mercilessly sucked away, leaving her weakened and vulnerable.

With a final surge of power, Reva unleashed a tremendous force, sending Devyn crashing to the ground. The impact was so powerful that it created a deep hole where she landed, accompanied by a resounding thud.

Reva gracefully descended to the ground, her eyes returning to their calm state. She walked towards where Devyn lay and saw that the evil spirit that possessed her had been destroyed.

Principal Hazel, who had been observing the entire battle, approached her with a warm smile.

"You have done well once again" she praised, her voice filled with admiration as she walked toward Reva.

Reva ignored her and began to walk away, her steps resolute and determined.

Alice's eyes fluttered open slowly, but they still felt a bit blurry. The room seemed unfamiliar, and it took her a moment to realize she was in her bed. As she tried to gather her thoughts, a familiar voice broke the silence.

"You have to pay me for carrying you" said Vesper, her roommate, who was sitting on the bed next to hers.

Sitting up slowly, Alice held her head as it gave her a slight ache.

"What happened?" she asked, trying to make sense of the situation.

"Devyn opened a soul trap" Vesper replied with a grave expression.

"A soul trap?!" Alice's eyes popped wide open in shock.

"Yes!" Vesper nodded solemnly.

"Why would she do such a thing? She knows how dangerous it is" Alice rushed her words.

"She was possessed by a spirit and had to live up to her nickname" Vesper shrugged nonchalantly.

"I always knew there was something creepy about that crazy witch" Alice scoffed, remembering Devyn's eccentricities.

Vesper's gaze shifted to Alice's frail form.

"You should work on yourself, your body is too weak" she remarked.

"I'll try" Alice mumbled, lowering her head.

"Were you affected by the soul trap too?"

"I was, but not like you were" Vesper replied.

Just then, Reva entered the room. Alice's face lit up with joy, and she hurriedly got out of bed to embrace her.

Taken aback by the sudden display of affection, Reva hesitated for a moment before breaking the hug.

"Did your brain suddenly forget the 'No Hugs' rule?" she asked, her voice laced with annoyance.

"Sorry" Alice muttered, biting her lower lip slightly in regret.

"Are you hurt?" Reva asked.

Alice shook her head, a radiant smile on her face. She was genuinely touched that Reva cared enough to ask.

"No, I only passed out. What about you?"

"Since when did I become a weakling?" Reva scoffed.

"I know no one beats the dark queen" Alice winked.

"Keep having your rest, I'm leaving" she stated abruptly and turned to depart.

"Thanks for checking on me" Alice shouted after her, her gratitude evident in her voice, and Reva simply rolled her eyes in response.

Observing Vesper's intense gaze fixed on Reva as she left, Alice couldn't help but ask.

"Why are you staring at her like that?"

Vesper shook her head as if dismissing her thoughts.

"Thought I saw something, but it's nothing" she replied, attempting to brush off her momentary distraction.

Alice shrugged, accepting her response, and went back to lying down, allowing her tired body to recuperate.

<LUCIEN'S ROOM>

As Lucien stepped into his large bathtub filled with flower petals, he relaxed in it with his clothes on.

Remembering how fierce and strong Reva was when fighting, a smile appeared on his face.

"She never ceases to amuse me" he muttered to himself.

Just as quickly as his smile appeared, it faded into a frown. Before him, a flame of fire materialized out of thin air, hovering ominously.

"Lucifer!" Lucien growled, recognizing the familiar presence within the flames.

"Yes, son" came the voice from the fiery manifestation. "It seems you're quite content in your new surroundings."

"Cut your crap and tell me why you're here" he snarled. "Are you checking if I've grown strong enough to vanquish you?" A mischievous smirk danced across his face, prompting Lucifer's laughter to reverberate through the flames.

"I see that your time here has improved your sense of humor" Lucifer chuckled and he frowned deeply.

"I'm starting to like your mate. She possesses all the qualities of a perfect queen for Hell" Lucifer continued, his voice dripping with malice.

Lucien's expression hardened, his eyes narrowing.

"Make sure y…"

"Save your speech for your demons" he retorted, dismissing Lucifer's words with a snap of his fingers. In an instant, the fire vanished into nothingness.

"Annoying old man" Lucien scoffed and sank completely into the water.

<BASKETBALL COURT>

"I should bounce this ball on your face for being an idiot" Phoenix said to Dagen as he spun a ball effortlessly on his index finger.

"Aren't you being an idiot now?" Dagen shot back.

"You know, for a disciplined moron, you've got guts" Phoenix smirked.

With a chuckle, he tossed the ball directly at him. Dagen's reflexes kicked in, catching the ball just inches from his face.

"I hope you have learned your lesson now?" Phoenix added with a smug as he turned to leave, leaving Dagen to contemplate his actions.

Dagen stared at the ball in his hands, and without a second thought, he flung it forcefully into the nearby basketball net.

"I always wondered what that beating felt like" Miles said as he hung his hand on Dagen's shoulder.

"How about I use your body as the example?" Dagen glared, swatting away his hand.

••••••

Perched on her rooftop, Reva savored the captivating night view that held a special place in her heart. Her face remained serene, devoid of any discernible emotion.

A gentle breeze caressed her, infusing the air with a rejuvenating freshness that she needed. Amidst this moment of tranquility, Reva's gaze shifted towards the moon, which showed that it would be full the next day.

Her gaze was abruptly interrupted by a sudden pull on her attention. It's the injury on her arm from the fight earlier. Instinctively, she tore away the fabric concealing the wounded spot, revealing a deep gash that marred her skin.

The wound possessed an unusual countenance, far from the appearance of a typical cut. Its presence vexed Reva, for it bore the unmistakable mark of poison. As she examined it closely, a mixture of irritation and anger flickered across her face.

"I should have just killed that bitch for this" she glowered.

Refusing to allow the wound to consume her thoughts, Reva averted her gaze from the poisoned cut. She knows bothering about it would be useless cause it will eventually heal before morning. After all, she had faced much worse than this.
