*Catnap, one of the smilling critters, who has betrayed them all over prototype 1006, was bow back to normal as he wasn't under prototypes Control anymore, of course he wanted forgiveness from the others, despise knowing that it would take a LONG time to get their forgiveness, he tried, he was even able to get dogday his legs back, but despise all of that, they found it strange that catnap was helping them after being free, but not talking, tho they didn't think much about it*
*The other members of the party were still a bit wary of Catnap, which was obvious, although they knew that what happened had been the fault of the Prototype, so they at least knew that they hadn't acted with bad intentions. Although their trust towards Catnap had been damaged, they knew that at the very least they could be sure that he wouldn't do something like that again.*
*Dogday was laying on the sofa, he when he suddently woke up, he looked down and felt...his legs?
He got his legs back? But he had a blanket on top of him....he wasn't chained anymore....he was in a house....*
*After looking around, Dogday managed to see that it was a room, with a sofa where he was placed, and next to him a tray with some food and water which he started to consume quickly.*
*After he finished he stretched and got up, looking down and seeing his legs, he was happy to have them back again. But the question of who brought him here, began to haunt him, he quickly got up and started to look at the door and the hallway of the house, trying to figure out who brought him here.*
*but he was completely alone in the house, he then saw a picture frame on a table, it was....a photo of the smilling critters with...catnap....but the glass of the frame seem to have been broken, but glued back together, as if whoever destroyed wanted to keep it as a memory*
*Dogday approached the frame to look at its contents closely, seeing his group united and smiling for the camera, as the glass of the frame had been broken, it seemed that it could have been during the time Catnap betrayed them, and then he fixed the frame to remember and regret what he did during that time.*
"So this is the reason..." *Dogday thought looking at the picture without saying anything, thinking that it was Catnap who had brought him there and taken care of his treatment, although he still couldn't be sure.*
*he then looked at the kitchen and saw that whoever bought him there had made food for him*
*Dogday quickly walked into the kitchen, trying to figure out who would be able to give him food after everything that had happened, being able to notice the delicious aroma of the food. He was amazed, as he had not had a decent meal in months, trying to look for clues about who would be the person kind enough to do this.*
*after that, he was walking around the house, it seem that every door had one of the smilling critters name, he tried the doors and they all opened, except for catnap's...which seem to be locked, however the key was on the door, so he could unlock it*
*Dogday quickly went to Catnap's door and noticed how the key was hanging from the doorknob, which he removed and immediately unlocked the door and stepped into the room, expecting to see Catnap or something that would clarify what was happening.*
*of course, catnap wasn't there, but the room was very clean, and had a lot of things*
*Looking at the room, Dogday could notice how neat everything was, with nothing out of place, and looking at the contents of the room the only thing that caught his attention was the large number of pictures of the Smiling Critter group from various points in time, as well as a few more pictures with Catnap taken at different points, where both were smiling happily.*
*there was a photo album on top of catnap's desk*
*Feeling that the photo album could contain important answers, Dogday approached the album, seeing if he couldn't discover something inside the photos besides a simple memory of the group, although he was also aware that he would need to look very carefully at each of the photos to see if he could find clues.*
*all of the smilling critters were in the photos, Dogday, Bubba, Hoppy, crafty, kickin, bobby, picky and catnap....they were one photo of every single one, and a lot of them in group, but mostly photos of dogday and catnap...*
*Looking through the photos, Dogday could only feel his heart aching, as although he was smiling and happy to be next to his friends in the group photos, he could see that he and Catnap were not only constantly together, but that a lot of pictures were just the two of them alone, almost making it feel as if the others weren't there.*
*And he couldn't help but wonder if the one who had brought him there was somehow Catnap, as he was the one who was in the most photos and whose room was where the photo album was kept.*
*whoever the last photo was....of dogday when he was chained up?*
*Dogday could notice that among these photos there was one that completely caught his attention, as he recognized himself when he had been stuck in a dungeon, tied up with chains. It was the only non-happy photo of the entire album and where he looked a lot thinner and malnourished.*
*But all over the photo was written in basically a doctor Handwritting "I'm sorry"*
*Reading those words was something that broke Dogday's heart, as he thought that whoever had written those words knew what he had been through and was sorry for it, seeing how his photo was different from the others because of his pained and tortured look. He really wanted to find out who had written those words, even if he had a very strong suspicion of who it was. As he saw how the other pictures in the album were all happy memories.*
*he then closed the photo album and saw a notebook that is from catnap, laying next to the desk*
*Curiosity was already getting the best of him and he decided to pick up the notebook lying on the desk, with the intention of taking a look inside to see what it might have inside.*
*it was just pages with apologizes written all over, some even had a little drawing doddle of dogday in the conners, but it was the same doctor Handwritting as the photo album....that meant it was catnap's Handwritting...*
*Reading the pages of apology, Dogday couldn't help but feel moved and sad, as he saw that Catnap was really guilty after everything that had happened in the group during that time, although seeing the little drawings of him as a way of apologizing and remembering him, felt somehow comforting even though those memories were painful for Dogday.*
*Finally reading all about those apologies, Dogday felt like he understood the reason why he had all those pictures of his and Catnap's time together, as the way he had written the apology notes made it seem like he missed Dogday and regretted everything. The poor guy had to learn to forgive at least what had been before the betrayal, even if it would take a long time to regain the trust and friendship they had before.*
*he decided to look around the room, and he saw a shelf where there were plushies of the group, the whole group was there, everyone....*
*Seeing all those plushie plushies made the heart of Dogday beat faster, as seeing them together again reminded him of what they had been in the past. Despite everything that had happened, seeing those toys of his friends made him happy to have found them, and he approached the shelf to touch them, feeling the softness of the plushies, making him feel more comfortable.*
*Looking again at all the plushies of his friends and also with all those photos of his time with Catnap, Dogday felt as if all of his previous sadness and anguish had started to dissipate, making him feel happy, relieved and safe. It was as if the person who brought him there did not really want to cause him harm, but rather to protect him, as he had never felt so sheltered in his life before, and he couldn't control feeling comfortable with all the comfort and warmth that surrounded him.*
*he then heard the front door open downstairs*
*Dogday was surprised to hear the sound of the door opening and his ears immediately picked up, hearing the footsteps of someone who had just entered the house, making him question who had entered and if he was safe or not, staying completely still and listening carefully to what was happening down there.*
*he then heard silence for a moment before hearing someone with a broken voice*

*The sound of that broken voice made him shiver, instantly recognizing the voice as Catnap's, and it caused him a lot of fear and tension, making him stay in place listening carefully. It seemed that whoever was there had found him, and Dogday knew that he couldn't trust what this person was going to say next.*
*after a bit of silence, he heard the front door opening and closing again, following by complete silence*
*Feeling that silence was not a good sign, Dogday went towards the door and tried to listen to what was going on, but couldn't hear a thing, as all he could hear was a quietness full of tension, with that silence causing him a lot of discomfort. Finally opening the door and looking outside cautiously, trying to see if he could notice what had happened.*
*but nothing, it's as if catnap had left him alone in his house....again...*
*That left him with even more concerns, as although Catnap had given him a home, made sure that he was comfortable and taken care of him, he had also left him there completely alone. So even though Dogday was comfortable and happy for having all those plushies and photos in the room, not having Catnap or anyone else left him sad and worried again, even more when he remembered that he had been left alone during the time of the betrayal.*
