"Y/n, I've already paid our food in the beginning." the french boy spoke in amusements, holding his laugh back when he saw the disbelief in her face.
"You could've said so earlier!?" Y/n whisper yelled with a pout, almost threatened to throw the ice cream she's holding towards Loki, but she stopped whatever violent thought that she had when the boy pecked her cheek, his lips lingering at the place where he kissed it as he pulled away with a cheeky grin. "Come on, you know you can't stay mad at me forever."
Oh, how she HATES that he's saying the truth.
Julian Loki. The guy that knows his ways with words, and will forever stay like that. He's always known to be the kind gentleman, just by that alone, he managed to charm plenty girls around their age.
And Y/n herself is half convinced she's one of them, though she still hates how cheeky he can get at times. Especially during these type of times when he knows what he's doing and saying.
"You're unbearable, you know that?" an irk mark appeared on the purplenette's forehead, her free hand swiftly making it's way to pinch his cheek, but oh was she a fool to think the God Sprinter himself won't be able to catch her hand.
Deciding to take advantage of the moment, Loki brought her hand close to his lips, kissing each of her knuckles all the while he was making eye contacts with the most 'innocent' smile ever.
He stayed in the same position, turning her hand so that her palm is the one that's grazing on his lips, the said lips twitching ever so slightly in mischief as his smile shifts into a smirk. "Am I? I'll need you to explain that point, I'm quite clueless when it comes to myself."
Weak. She felt so weak, why was he treating her so differently when he's always been polite with others? Sometime, Y/n wished that he'd act overly polite with her just so that she won't feel these butterflies erupting in her stomach.
If she can, she would've tried to wipe that goddamn smirk off of his face. It's too attractive for his own good.
"You should learn how to shut up. Do you want me to do a full tutorial?" Y/n said with the most sarcastic polite tone ever known in existence, a tight lipped smile with her eye twitching at irritation over the fact that she almost fell for the guy infront of her.
"S'il vous plaît, madame." he said lowly, finally letting go of the poor flustered girl, now deciding to joke with her, putting his arm ontop of her head as if she's his own armrest item.
"The disrespect you hold for me is insane."
"Ey, be grateful. I only do this with people I'm comfortable with." he retorts with a snicker, letting his arm fall to her shoulder as both of them walks down the downtown of Tokyo.
"Well I wish you hadn't been so comfortable then..." she murmurs tiredly, her body leaning against his, not caring about the close proximity at all which made Loki smiles smugly, but decides to not say anything to ruin the calm atmosphere in between them.
Despite their usual bickering, online or real life, there's no need to lie over the fact that they have deep chemistry in between them. Yes, they had approximately only known each other for 10 months, so what?
With those simple 10 months that people thought to be a short time, Y/n had shown Loki the definition of comfort and happiness. Which is why he's so comfortable about showing her his much mischievous side, he himself know that she doesn't mind it at all, no matter how many time she protest about it.
How tsundere-ish of Y/n.
"Are you doing fine these days?" the said girl whispered, looking at anywhere but Loki, which made him chuckle heartily, intertwining their hands together as he swing it back and forth.
"Hm, nothing out of the ordinary. Just that it feels more boring, you really should visit France again. Charles misses you alot."
"Or is it you that's missing my presence?" hearing those words coming out from Y/n's mouth made Loki blink in suprise, never had he expected for her to joke back like this, which resulted on him to laugh brightly, leaning his head down towards her own while the both of them stayed like that for awhile.
"Right, I miss you plenty. How did you guessed that? Are you a mind reader?" he hums, his eyes softening in the slightest as he took a whiff of the floral scent coming from the purple silky hair that he had always found to be fascinating just from the color and visual of it alone. "Oh no, how did you figure that out? Now my cover's all blown away."
Both of the teens couldn't help but laugh simultaneously, both of their chest rumbling from both of their contagious laugh.
God, how he missed this moments so dearly. Every nights, Loki swore he always got reminded of Y/n's smile. The smile that manages to make the darkest atmosphere lighten up in an instant, the smile that never fails to catch one's heart, no matter females or males, and the laugh that's so melodious that he would've want to hear it on repeat if he ever get to record it.
Sure, they don't interact much in real life noting the fact that both of their countries are across the globe, but Loki will never be shy to admit that they bonds well even when they've usually texts each other.
Even when the girl texts simple things like 'good morning' or 'good night', he'd feel just so giddy at the fact that she even have the time to say that to him out of all people.
Yes, Julian Loki is completely infatuated. But will he ever say it? Not soon, that is.
He knows if he ever tries to chase the girl, it'd simply be a death wish. Coming from the fact that she had many other guys chasing over her.
But...he's already happy with how it is in between them. He's happy that he can be truly open with someone, and he's satisfied just by being close friends with Y/n.
As much as how he desires to be the one nexts to her, he equally loves it when he can see her smile brightly and genuinely.
Her eyes and smile, both of them shines even brighter than Sirius and he'll be deemed as a fool if he ignores over the fact.
"...I'll try finding the right time to go to France again."
Loki froze at those words, blinking thrice as he look at the purplenette in suprise. Is he dreaming? No that can't be, everything feels to real to be a dream.
"I'll go back to France when I can. Which is why..." the girl confirmed any suspicion Loki had earlier, a smile making it's way onto Y/n's lips as she looks up at him "Don't miss me for too much."
A moment of silence interrupted them, that's until Loki burst out of laughter again, his eyes smiling along with his lips as he squeezed her hand slightly "Alright then, I'll be treating you for today. Just so that you can spend your money at me once you went to France~"
Hearing those words, Y/n couldn't help but let out a small scoff out of her mouth, although a smile made it's way onto her lips as she basks in the warmth of their interaction "You...you really are unbearable." she murmurs softly, albeit with slight affection in her tone.
Both of them might not admit it right on each other's face, but they care for each other deeply in thwir own ways, and never have they thought about the possibilities to break whatever they have in between them. For the reason that they like it as it is.
