The reed household was known for their business with the peaky blinders. Especially since Oliver reed was apart of the gang.
The only problem was is that his farther hasn't been at home in years and nobody knew that. Cause Oliver was the one sending the checks back to the peaky blinders.
Except now when Oliver woke up this morning he found his dad downstairs in the kitchen.
"Hello son" Elliot greeted when he saw his Oliver standing still at the bottom of the stairs frozen. "Are you not going to greet you old man hey!" His voice suddenly becoming stern.
"I'm sorry I just didn't realise you were coming home." Oliver was knocked out of his trace when a plate was thrown at his head.
"Sorry son didn't have time to send a letter or call,now come sit down I've made breakfast"
His farther placed a plate full of eggs on the table and he guided his son down to eat.
As Oliver was eating the eggs when there was a knock at the door, a knock which Elliot answered. "Ah Shelby's hello come in"
The Shelby brothers walked into Oliver's house looking around seeing the homely vibe it came off,they could see Oliver attempting to eat the eggs at the table. "What is it I can do for you lads then?" Elliot asked whilst walking back into the living room."Where to tell you son the news about tomorrow's raid." Thomas answered.
"Ay we'll go ahead I'm heading upstairs" as elliot dissapeard up the stairs Oliver stood up and put the eggs in the bin."Not nice aye!" Arthur laughed. "We have no raid tomorrow" Oliver shot back. Putting the plate on the table folding his arms.
"We know we just wanted to hand you something." John answered almost as if he could spot something was wrong with Oliver.almost as if the came in at the right time stopping something from happening.
Arthur pulls out a peaky hat from behind his back."Two years you've been apart of the gang and yet you've never had a hat"
"Didn't think I deserved it" Oliver answered rolling up his sleeves.
