Oliver was know as the only junior peaky blinder whose still in school.
And that's what's made him the Shelby's favourite. They love the fact that he still goes to school and plans on finish it.That's how Oliver got a good relationship with Esme. Oliver was know to write little short stories and get Esme to read them.
And Esme loved to read them,she loved the way his imagination worked and the way he writes. If Esme could read his workers everyday she would. She would love to see his work published in a book.
Esme remembers the day she met Oliver he was on his lunch break in the betting shop and he was reading a Christmas carol for a fourth time.
She remembers seeing the little annotations he did in his book to show what stuff meant.
Oh how she could remember it all.
"So you a blinder now ah?" Polly asked Oliver when he walked into the betting den.
"Yeah got my hat this morning!"
Esme got up and hugged Oliver whilst holding his cheeks. "Oh well done sweetheart"
"We'll have to toast to that."
"My dad Doesn't know." Oliver answered sadly
