JIMIN POV
"Pack, it is a night of
celebration."
"A night with which to
celebrate the birth of a new
pack member, kookie, son of
Jungkook and Jimin, brother
of Dalsu."
Joon stood on the hill
buck-ass naked, something
that would've shocked the
heck out of me only a year earlier, something that now seemed so just normal.
"It saddened us that Jimin
and Dalsu joined our pack in
a small ceremony instead of
a run, like we are about to
have this evening, under
the glorious moon."
"We cannot change the circumstances that required
such action but we can take tonight to revel in the joy of
all that resulted from it."
"Our brother Jimin stands

That one brought cheers from the pack.
Jungkook handed kookie back
to me and Jungkook and I
stood to his left along with
the other betas, his alpha
omega on his right.
"Our pack is about to enter
a new phase and with it will
bring both challenges and
joys."
"After the next Omega Moon,
we will begin integrating with
our new pack brothers and sisters."
"It is a time of excitement
as well as adjustments."
"Tonight, as you run, be ever cognizant of what you can
bring to the table to help with adjustment and for the love
and to save my mates
garden, eat all of those
fucking rabbits."
The crowd laughed, the
tension officially broken.
"And now, as Alpha of the
Busan Pack, I command you
to Run." He turned, shifting midway and the group joined him, only Grams and my
family still in our skin.
"You sure you don't
mind?" I asked as she held
out her grabby hands.
"Do I look like I mind?"
"I have been waiting to get
my hands on this kid since
the first time I saw him."
"Go. Run."
"He'll be at my place."
The pack omegas took turns
on who would watch the kids who couldn't run yet but I'd
been so nervous, he was so young.
I saw now that it hadn't been
my choice at all.
Grams was one determined person.
My family couldn't be luckier, having her adopt us the way
she did.
I handed kookie to her, peppering his face with
kisses first.
"Now run you three and get those rabbits."
"I am so sick of hearing about them." She settled him in the baby buggy and off she went.
Dalsu was bouncing on his
toes, looking off into the distance.
"Are your friends waiting for you?" I asked.
"Please, Daddy?"
"Please can I go with
them?" He pleaded.
Pleaded to go with his friends.
Real friends, something he
never had before this pack.
"Only if you promise to try and get a rabbit." His eyes opened wide and he slowly nodded.
He wasn't going to get a
rabbit but fair enough.
Neither was I.
I might be a full wolf now but
I had years of being human telling me that was gross.
"Go, sweet boy and have fun."
He jumped, shifting mid leap.
"When did he learn how to do that?" Color me impressed.
"He's a natural." Jungkook
took my hand in his.
"Did you want me to teach
you how?"
Did I?
Probably but I was still
working on the shifting gracefully, the fancy tricks
would have to wait.
"It's just you and I."
I stepped in close.
"I wonder what we should do now?"
"I can think of a few things."
He bit his lip trying to be all sexy-like but I could see the playfulness in his eyes.
He wanted a chase.
I called my wolf to me,
bolting off into the cool night
air, not daring to look back.
It wasn't fun if I made it too
easy for him, although being caught was the best part.
I ran and I ran and I ran,
not trying to be clever, just counting on my speed to
get me where I longed to be.
Run. Run. Run.
The clearing in sight,
Jungkook reached me, his
wolf pouncing on me and
shifting as he rolled us
over, my wolf following suit.
"Caught you, omega mine."
"Or maybe it was I who caught you." I nipped at his bottom lip.
"I seem to remember it was
me who saw the Omega
Moon's true light."
Not that I had a freaking clue what it had meant at the time.
"That is true."
"You win."
"Just like that? I win?"
"Just like that."
"I don't need to win."
"I have everything I could
ever dream of in my life
already."
"I have the mate fate sent to
me, the sexiest business

earth and two beautiful kids."
"You can have your win." He nibbled on my mating mark.
"Now the question is, what
do you want for your prize?"

I nuzzled into his neck,
inhaling his scent.
