Luna couldn't help but roll her eyes at the flurry of comments suggesting she and Jobe were dating. Feeling frustrated, she decided to video call her friends, Alyvia, Xotchitl, and Momona, to vent about the situation.
"Can you believe this nonsense?" Luna exclaimed, annoyance evident in her voice.
Alyvia shook her head. "It's ridiculous. People will believe anything they see online."
Xotchitl chimed in, "Making assumptions based on one picture? That's just unfair to both of you."
Momona nodded in agreement. "Rumors spread like wildfire. But I'm sure Jobe will understand."
Luna sighed, feeling a bit better with her friends' support. "Yeah, but it's still going to be awkward hanging out with him after all this."
Her friends offered reassurance, reminding her that things would settle down eventually.
Luna's friends were eager to hear more about her upcoming trip to Germany for the Euros. "So, when are you heading out?" Alyvia asked, her eyes shining with excitement.
"In five days," Luna replied, a hint of anticipation in her voice. "We'll be staying at a resort, well actually it's like golf resort that has a strange number of football pitches, it'll only be us. Plus it's near an airport so the players can go to each stadium right away."
"That sounds amazing!" Xotchitl exclaimed, her imagination already running wild with visions of luxury accommodations. "Are you going to be spending a lot of time with the players?"
Luna hesitated for a moment before responding. "Not really," she admitted, a touch of disappointment creeping into her tone. "During events like this, the coaches usually prefer the players to focus on bonding with each other, so I'll probably be spending more time with my dad and the other player's relatives."
Her friends nodded in understanding, realizing the demands of professional sports and the importance of team cohesion. "Well, at least you'll have some time to explore and relax," Momona offered, trying to find the silver lining.
Luna smiled gratefully at her friends' support. As she made plans for her trip, Luna felt a surge of excitement coursing through her veins, eager to embark on this new adventure, albeit with a touch of trepidation.
After wrapping up the call with her friends and settling onto her bed, Luna absentmindedly scrolled through Instagram stories. Amidst the flurry of posts, one in particular caught her eye – it was Jobe, shirtless, his gaze fixed off to the side as he lifted his shirt.
