After the ridiculous situation that happened on Halloween, Y/N couldn't take her mind off Professor Snape's wounded leg. It's not like she's disquieted about the git's situation. Just a few days ago, Harry told the girl about Fluffy. It looks like someone's getting an exercise, no?
Of course, she's worried about Hermione being almost dead by the mountain troll, but her mind is too occupied by the story of Harry seeing Snape's leg.
L/N quickly remembered what Harry told her the other day before. That Granger suggested Fluffy is guarding something. They are not sure what but it should be related to the item that Hagrid fetched from vault 713 on Gringotts.
After the trio finally convinced Y/N to watch the quidditch game, there she is, sitting on the gryffindor bench with the other gryffindor glaring at her because she's a slytherin and a friend of Malfoy.
She decided to shrug it off by reading the book, 'The Standard Book of Spells' for God knows how many times she have read. Her muscles flinched. She groaned when Hagrid suddenly shouted.
"Whoooa! What's going on with Harry's broomstick?" Y/N put down the book on the bench and joined Hermione and Ron who's looking anxiously on the field.
"This situation looks severe." The girl muttered to herself, eyes wandering towards Harry and the tough quidditch match.
Hermione grabbed the binocular from Hagrid and started roaming her eyes to look for the one responsible. "It's Snape! He's jinxing the broom!" Y/N brows met each other. He won't do that. Despite his unwanted behavior with his students, the dungeon bat is not capable of such things.
"Jinxing the broom? What do we do?" L/N who grows impatient at the bickering of the gryffindors, she grabbed the binoculars from Hermione and see the scene herself. "Leave it to me." With that, Granger leaves the benches.
Y/N use the binocular and she can see Snape muttering some incantation while looking directly at Potter. Her head suddenly hurts and strangely, her eyes is seeing some weird events that she has never seen before. She shut her eyes to make the images on her vision gone. It all feels like a déjà vu for the girl.
"Dang! I can't believe this git will go this far!" She grumbled, putting her attention back on the conflict as Potter continue to dangled his one hand on the broom.
"Snape will pay for this!" She cursed as Ron nervously stares at Harry. Several seconds later, Y/N noticed that Harry is fine already. He went back to the game like nothing happened. While Snape on the other hand, glared at Potter who's now surpassing the Slytherin seeker.
Everyone cheered when Harry caught the snitch. Including of course Y/N who is hugging Hermione very tight.
"So, what did you do?" L/N asked, breaking the embrace. "Well. I put a fire on his cloak." A smirk is visible in Granger's lips. Y/N narrowed her E/C eyes on the witch and smile. "Blimey! Maybe I'll try it as well if I am given the opportunity to do so." Y/N give Hermione a high five as they now followed Potter with his team. Now, the girl felt quite bad for the professor who tormented her in the past few weeks.
It's everyone free time. Y/N rushes towards Snape's room with harshness on her footsteps. "I know that I am in no position to interfere with his wretched business with Harry but he almost killed him. I will only ask him for clarity. That's all." She gritted her teeth and smashes her knuckles on the wooden door.
"Come in." Just by hearing his deep usual voice it is already making her confused. She is not mad of her professor. Then what the hell is she feeling? Y/N entered the Potion Master's room with a glare slashing the dungeon bat in half. He is sitting on his usual chair, reading and marking the papers.
"What is your business here, Miss L/N?" Snape inquired without even looking up at the witch, as if she is wasting his time.
"Oh well Professor. Why do you want Harry dead?" Her fist is balled and her breathing doubled from the intensity of her emotions. Her E/C eyes is looking straight on the cloaked man, daring him. Y/N is actually nervous but she must know the reason why Snape wanted Potter dead.
The professor finally looks up at the brave girl while putting his quill down on the desk.
He slowly stands up, allowing his cloak to follow him swiftly from behind. His eyes met Y/N's E/C one. The air around them thickened. Snape leaned in closely and Y/N can feel his breath on her bare face.
Her heart started to race rapidly and her anger already cease to nothing. Her hands become wet and she feels like she will be going to go crazy if they continue to stay in the current position, they find themselves in.
"L/N." Snape growled on her ears, sending shivers all over her body. Y/N flinches on the sudden sound. Is it only her imagination or is it really happening? Too bad, the girl couldn't tell.
"I can't believe that a L/N can't really stop minding their own business. I guess, the rumors are true." Every word slashed her heart into pieces. The confidence Y/N have before she entered his room is now gone.
Snape move away from her with disgust and rolled his black eyes. "Isn't your father enough? Shoving his nose on other's people businesses?" Snape sarcastically remark, observing the witch. "I hope this will serve as a lesson, L/N. Put your attention on the affairs that only concerns you." The raven-haired man sigh and without any warning, she left the room with tears flowing down on her cheeks.
Her vision is blurry because of the tears that are forcing to come out from her eyes. Her feet dragged her to nowhere but it doesn't stop until she reached the forbidden forest.
Y/N made sure that she is very far away from Hagrid's hut before weeping loudly. "These stupid tears won't stop falling! I hate myself!" She screamed her lungs out, making herself feel a little better. 'How can a human like him exist?' she thought as another group of tears flow down on her cheeks. It is worst. She just let other people stain her family. It is official, she is the worst daughter in the world.
Her eyes are swollen like it had been stung by bees. Y/N decided to lie on the cold ground of the forbidden forest. She doesn't realize it but she slowly closed her eyes and drifted into the unknown.

Meanwhile, Granger, Potter and Weasley is looking over on the Slytherin table to look for Y/N. Y/N promised them that she will come back on dinner. But dinner is almost done and she is still nowhere to be seen.
"I am not feeling really good about this." Hermione muttered while poking her food, definitely losing her appetite. "What if she went to the git and talk to him about jinxing Harry's broom?" Ron suddenly remembered, stopping his hand on picking the chicken. The three looks at each other then fixated their gaze on the ginger.
"Ron! What?" Harry desperately exclaimed while looking over on the high table. He spotted that Snape is looking on the Slytherin table and he seems like he is searching for something. No, for someone. The realization is slowly kicking in.
"Well, earlier she mentioned something about Snape is going to pay for jinxing your broom." Ron furrowed his brows as he took a bite of the chicken on his hand.
"I think Ron is right Hermione. Y/N went to speak with Snape! Maybe something happened." The golden trio quickly leave the great hall and went to the dungeon to look for Y/N. But still, there is no sign of the girl around.
Ronald's stomach growled, indicating that he's still hungry as they didn't finish their dinner before searching for their friend. "Oh no." But Granger just glared at him as they run towards the courtyard.
"She is not here either! Damn." Harry cursed, being frustrated. They stopped for a moment to catch up with their breath. Still, they didn't find the poor Y/N. "We should split up." Hermione suggested, heaving heavily. Harry and Ron agreed.
Hermione went to the library while Ron waited to the great hall and Harry went to the forbidden forest. But before he can put his foot on the ground of the forest, a giant torso welcomed his face.
"There's a reason why it's called a forbidden forest Harry." Hagrid bespoke, staring suspiciously at the boy.
"But—"
"No buts Harry. Come, let me walk you back to the castle." Harry looks at the forest with one last glance as he sadly walks with Hagrid.
It's already curfew and they end up meeting on the Gryffindor common room. "Harry!" Granger beamed as she and Ron walk towards him. Potter just shook his head in defeat and they all sighed.
"Guys, it's my fault. Again. Let's just hope she is on their common room by now." They nodded their head and sadly goes towards their bedrooms.
