Sharpening my sword..my soul..teeth and nails all along..
This time they won't get me..being too kind is no longer the vice that belonged to me..
Hitting harder..today no shame in me..
I defend the self I have..as a broken heart resides in me..
Pigeons caged in my chest..unable to break free..
Butterflies in my stomach..no..not brought by joy..only anger masked by fear..
Waiting patiently..losing horribly..gathering shards of what i have left of me..
In the crowd..sheer loneliness is what I hear..
Oh god..please..save me..
