“why” He asks. His arms were crossed and his brows furrowed. I knew I was going to have to face this.
“I don't like the way she is with him, I just need you to distract her from him. Is that too much to ask for?” I say starting to get angry.
“I already got rid of her dumb friend, she was never even supposed to be a target, I'm trying to help her, either she stays away or she ends up like Chisom!” I spit the words through my teeth, my anger getting the best of me. My body shook with rage. There was no need for me to be this mad but I couldn't control it, I just hated it when things don't go my way. I would have easily gotten away with what I did if it weren't for that wretched girl, Funke. I was lucky she didn't see my face.
“What do you mean you got rid of Chisom?” He asks clearly confused. I can't help but roll my eyes.
“Chisom didn't kill herself,” I say smirking, “I did. I pushed her from the last floor”
He looked at me like I was crazy. Of course, he doesn't believe. Nobody would believe someone like me would do something like that.
“You don't believe me? I did it! And that Funke girl she saw it, she didn't see my face but she knew what really happened that day, you can ask her if you want. I honestly don't know why she says Chisom killed herself but lucky me I guess” I laugh to myself as I said this.
“You're crazy, just get away from me. YOU ARE MAD!” He exclaimed.
It wouldn't be the first time someone called me mad, or crazy. I was used to this the words didn't affect me, actually it only made me feel better, it gave me pride.
He turned to leave but I grab his arm before he can.
“tell anybody what I said, and I won't hesitate to end you” I threaten. “just cooperate and it'll be fine”
He turns slowly then looks at me before he says “I'll only do this to protect Funke from you... freak”
He drags his hand from my firm grip and leaves. I watch him walk away. Then slowly a smile spread across my face.
I love it when things go my way.
