Newt had decided to go to Diagon Alley to pick up some food for his animals as well as check up on the animals in Magical Menagerie to make sure they were all ok and fit and healthy to be sold off to the community Pickett was in his pocket as normal and Teddy well...
Lets just say that he was again looking for the Niffler again as he had somehow ran off even when he tried to summon the creature he didn't appear which was completely normal for Teddy, he sighed as he was looking for him but said Niffler was running all across Diagon Alley exploring and hoping to find something shiny
As Newt was looking for Teddy he noticed two uncompiled children outside said Magical Menagerie chatting to each other about what animals they could see and what animal their 'papa' can get them when they end back home, he watched them for a while before heading into the store to look around
Newt smiled to the owner as he went still displeased with how the store was kept but it wasn't down to him how he kept the shop clean but he just wished that they would he had told them many times about it but it appears that its again fallen on deaf ears
He noticed two sad puffskins in a cage their bright colours dull as anything, he gave them some insects to eat and went on his way to see the other animals, he came across a Steelers that looked healthy he gathered up some of the poisonous slim thanking them before going off again to look at bats and smiled they were perfectly asleep in a nice warm and dark cave like area and their food was topped up, lastly he went to look at the cats smiling when he spotted Teddy with the baby Nifflers
"There you are mister come along now we must go" he picked Teddy up and held him close another Niffler looked to say youre taking him no far bring me along, she climbed up onto Newt to say you're taking me like it or not making him sigh, he paid for her and the to Nifflers settled down
As Newt left the shop it was getting dark and the two boys were now huddled close and crying he sighed and went over to them and knelt down Len went on the defensive and stood in front of his brother
"Who are you and what do you want?" he growled to Newt who sighed
"I want to help you"
"Why we don't know you!"
"Len I wanna go home, I want papa!" whimpered Kam as he took hold of his brother's sleeve he hadn't seen Newt yet and if he did he would of noticed he was from the book he was reading
"Hello I'm Newt are you two lost?"
"I'm Len this is Kam and we aren't lost..." he blushed a bit because if Errikos knew he would be in time out an would lose his pudding for the night
"Galen don't like papa doesn't like liers..." he turned to Newt and gasped "you're the one that wrote the book I'm reading!"
"Which one would that be?" asked Newt to the boy
"Fantastic Beasts! I love the book! um... can you help us get home?" asked Kam to him
"Kamari he's a stranger!" said Len
"Who's idea was it to Floo here?! screamed Kam to his slightly older brother
"I know I know I shouldn't of done it but come on they gave us so much sugar..."
"Galen Thomas Peverell I don't care I wanna go home and be with papa!" cried Kam he was the emotional twin out of the pair Newt watched the whole thing and the female Niffler climbed down and went into Kam's arms to hopefully calm him own which he did
"Well it seems I have two lost boys on my hands and it looks like that little one likes you... its Kamari?"
"Yeah my name is Kamari Severus Peverell" he hugged the Niffler close
Newt sighed and then realised who the two boys where they were Lord Peverell's twin boys in front of him he thought for a moment and summoned his Bowtruckle Patronus
"Tell Tina that I will be late home tonight so she doesn't have to wait up I'll be back after I've sorted out this" the Patronus went off
The boys looked "wow can we do that?"
"When you are old enough you look to be no older than 8"
"We're 6 we've just had our birthday before New Year" they both said to him smiling he whole time
"Oh wow" he summoned another Patronus and looked at the boys and smiled before turning to the Bowtruckle again
"Tell Lord Peverell that I have hold of his to sons who happened to Floo into the Alley on their own..."
"We we're being babysat by Fred and George Weasley they gave us Poptarts and then Len and me went through the Floor" said Kam
"I see..." said Newt again turning to the Bowtruckle "find a Fred and George and tell them that I found the boys and will be taking them home" he watched the Patronus go again
"I so wanna learn that!" said Len more so then Kam as he was hugging the Niffler close and almost falling asleep
"You won't learn it until your a 7th year at Hogwarts sadly"
"Oh" he pouted
"Come along and we will head to your home" he took them to the Leaky Cauldron and went to the Floo and took some Floo powder making sure both boys were in his arms and called out Peverell Manor within a flash of green they disappeared
Once they landed the boys ran off but Newt couldn't move no further than 3 feet away from the Floo due to the wards locking him in place
"Who is you?" said the twin elves as the popped in
"I am Newt Scamander I found the two boys of Lord Peverell, I have returned them home"
"Mr Newt can you read to me your book? what you standing there for?" ask Kam as he came running in with the book Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them
"Master can release wards" said Tit
"Only Master can" said Tat to the man in front of them
"That's fine I can wait for when Lord Peverell returns I haven't done anything to hurt the boys besides bring them home"
"I have Penny!!" said Kam as he looked at the Niffler in his arms that didn't want to leave it appeared she had chosen who she wanted to be with
"Master will no like this" said Tit
"Master will bes shocked" said Tat
"Twin House Elves I didn't think it was possible I've only known House Elves to give birth to only one child at a time and they are very few and far between Newt transfigured his handkerchief into a chair and sat down as Kam sat as close as he could so then Newt could read to him
A few hours went by and Errikos returned home quite happy and proud of himself he had managed to get the bill stopped where most of them who were against creatures wanted it to go through one of them being Dumbles of all people why in Merlin would he want to stop it and let Remus into the school when he's 11 he didn't know
"Oh Mr Scamander welcome to Peverell Manor, I see that you got my boys home safe and sound and I thank you for that" he waved his hand and keyed Newt into the Wards
"That's quite alright Lord Peverell..."
"Call me Errikos please"
"Very well Errikos, call me Newt I found your sons outside Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour and I wondered why there were alone and then they headed to Magical Menagerie where I was visiting the animals and they were looking through the window as I worked, I came out and asked them where their parents were and it seems that they were lost..."
"Freddie and Georgie couldn't find us so we stayed in one place and Mr Newt helped us, papa can I keep Penny?" asked Kam holding up the sleeping Niffler
"Thank you Newt for bringing them home I'll send a message to the twins about them but at the same time I think they need to learn a lesson about giving sugar sensitive children a load of sugar and letting them get to the Floo system" he sighed knowing he would have to lock the Floo from his sons if this was going to become a habit
"Papa can I?" Kam gave him full on puppy eyes
"Kamari a Niffler is not an appropriate creature for a pet they love anything shiny..."
"Please"
He sighed making Newt smile
"What about these instead?" he held out two tiny balls of fluff who rolled over in his hand one was blue and the other purple "they are siblings they are called Pigmy Puffskins both female why don't you have them instead"
"Oo I want the purple one papa can I have her?" asked Len coming in wondering were everyone was
"If you must Galen and me and you will be having words about using the Floo system without a responsible adult around"
"Yes papa I'm sorry, take the Puffskin and thank Newt for her"
Len turned to the man who had helped them holding the baby Puffskin to himself
"Thank you for helping us and thank you for Puffskin Newt and sorry for being so silly with the Floo" he ran off after speaking the other Puffskin was on Kam's head asleep
"Thank you again Newt for helping my boys get home"
"You're welcome" he soon left leaving the Puffskin's and the Niffler to Errikos

the two puffs are a creation from mine and @japgal94 wild minds their names will be told in a later chapter but remember this....
Kam's puff has four children Snap, Crackle, Cheerio and Pebbles
Len's puff has five children Pop, Coco Pops, Lucky and Charm
