"Hell is loving you in my sleep and waking up alone"
Toby's POV
"Are you... how do you feel?" I asked nervously
She said nothing.
"I'm sorry... about everything. About keeping you here. We- I didn't know what else to do-"
"Toby"
"I just wanted to... I wanted to break that fucking spell, I didn't want you to get hur-"
"Toby"
"And y-you can leave if you want to. You... I get it, if you don't want to stay with me, if you don't feel that bond anymore-"
"Toby" she said, interrupting me
I looked up, scared.
She shifted forward across the bed, closer to me
Taking my hand in hers.
Did she...
"I missed you" she mumbled quietly, staring at our hands
"You did?" I asked, she looked at me. And my world started turning again
"I did" she smiled softly
"I'm sorry I..." she faltered
"I don't know what happened, why I... but I want you Toby. You're all I ever want" she said
I blew out a breath
"You have no fucking idea what a relief that is" I smiled, my heart had dropped the moment she woke up
But she felt it. She wanted me
She wanted us.
"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry you even got into this, I should have protected you" I said, sitting on the bed, pulling her into my arms
"It's not your fault" she mumbled
"I'm never letting you out of my arms again" I said adamantly
"That'll be a bit difficult Toby" she chuckled
"No, it won't, I'll carry you everywhere, you'll never need to be without me" I said determined
"Toby" she laughed, looking up at me
She was so beautiful.
She leant up, kissing me slowly.
"God I'd give up the world for you" I let out as she pulled away
"Oh really? All your Lego builds? Hm? You'd give up marshmallows and your PlayStation for me?" She teased, winding her arms around my neck
"I'd burn it all for you" I said honestly
She nearly made me insane when I met her
When I had to be without her
But nearly losing her?
No. Never again.
My heart couldn't take it.
Blossom's POV
"Maybe we should... think this through" I said worriedly
"Think what through?" Sin asked
"This whole... council meeting, what if they lean in favour of Kean? I mean... we haven't exactly won over the demons have we? What if they think that a trial isn't needed? What if they let him off? What if they go the other way and demand his death? I asked
"Bloss, you're a wonder to them, they think you healing my wings was some sort of generic wolf power, that they're more interesting than they originally thought" he chuckled, pulling me closer as we lay in bed
"And me? I'll make a fucking example out of that bastard, the pain he put Toby and Maisie through, I couldn't imagine having to feel that if he had actually managed to poison you" he admitted
"Sin" I tried
"I love you Bloss, we decided to do this, to rule this fucking hellhole, we can't back out now" he said
"I know" I groaned
"Besides, you're a perfect Queen, I need you to balance me" he said
"Balance you?" I echoed
"Yeah, look once we have this meeting, we can go back home for a while, start ruling over the real world" he smiled
"Yeah" I smiled back
I had thought my life would be so much simpler
I had thought I would finish school, maybe even get a degree, find a mate and rule my pack
Now college was a distant thought as I worried over two worlds
Ruled over two worlds
And worried for the man beside me, having to bear the weight of it all.
"We should get ready" I said, sitting up
"Already?" He asked
"I need a shower" I said. After yesterday and what.., Killian did
After what me and Sin did in said shower... I definitely needed another one
"I'll join you-"
"No" I tried to sound firm
"Yes" he said simply, following me out of bed
"Sin" I tried, before he picked me up, making me squeal as he carried me into the bathroom.

"You're late" Asteria said
"Yes well, we have a lot of commitments" Sin said coldly
Commitments... to the shower.
"How is the boy?" She asked
"He's fine, dad said he hasn't come out of her room in hours so... we think they're okay" Sin said, hand in mine
"Good. Then shall we- what are you wearing?" She asked, looking over me
"Clothes" I said halfheartedly, I was done running from myself
I was a Queen. And a Queen sticks up for herself
And this was me. This was how I dressed and I'm not about to change myself just because of Hell.
The pity was none of those words came out to Asteria
"Right... just... get in here, and appeal to your new council" she said, opening the doors.
Blossom's Outfit

"That was... okay" I tried to find the bright side
"It was long" Sin sighed, as we headed up the stairs
"But it was okay? I was okay?" I asked
"You were perfect" he assured me
Three of them don't think we should be able to hold the title of King and Queen
Whilst seven do and yet they demand that Kean be made a violent example of
And seem to be of the opinion that Sin should rule in a similar way to the last king
But Lucian died for a reason
Because he was hot headed and ruled on fear.
Sin and I didn't want to do that
We wanted to establish authority. Not control
"Toby? Safe to come in?" I asked, knocking on the door
"Sure" Toby called back
We walked in to Maisie's room, to find Toby and her wrapped up in each other's arms
"Everything alright?" I asked
"Everything is perfect" Toby said
They were very... passionate as they sat together
"Good, one less thing to worry about" Sin grumbled
"Sin" I warned
"What? It is. I'm happy for you brother" he said
"See? Must be good if Sin's cracking out sincerity" Toby smiled before he leant his head against Maisie's, smelling her hair
"We'll leave you two to... talk" I said awkwardly
"To fuck" Sin grumbled, leading me out of the room
"I heard that" Toby called out
"You don't have to be so vulgar" I joked
"And you don't always have to be so nice" he said, scooping me up into his hold
I wrapped my legs around him, as he carried me down the hallway
"You would cry if I was mean to you" I teased
"Yeah, my heart would bleed" he said blankly
"I mean it, if I was mad at you, you wouldn't cope" I huffed
"No, you're right, I would drag you back to my side and beg for forgiveness" he relented
"Exactly" I said, proving my point
I lived for these moments
For fooling around with my handsome mate
I couldn't wait until we got back home
Until we could be back at the house
And see our friends again
And feel... somewhat normal

"A security force?" Sin asked
"I told you he wouldn't let her go easily" Alexander shrugged
We knew that, but an entire security restructure in exchange for Maisie's transfer?
"Fuck sake, are you going to give it to him?" Sin asked
"Of course we are, she's Toby's mate, we wouldn't let him take her back. She belongs with us" Sophie said
Thank goodness
Toby would go wild if he had to be separated from Maisie again.
"Are you both ready to leave tomorrow?" Sophie then asked, looking at us expectantly
"Yeah, once Kean is tried, we'll come back home for a while, figure out our next steps" Sin explained
"Good. Because we think it's time we start moving things along" Alexander said
"For what?" I asked
"The coronation" Sophie said obviously
"Mom-"
"We are not getting any younger darling, and if you want to take over Hell, then fine, but it doesn't mean you abandon your duties at home" she said
"I'm not saying that, but come on, we just took over" Sin tried
"And you've proved you can handle it" Alexander said simply
"There's a lot to do before you're even crowned" Sophie argued
"Like what?" Sin asked
"Like organising the ceremony, your council, Blossom's ladies in waiting, we picked a few women but Maisie was a strong candidate and now of course she isn't in the running bu-"
"Take a breath love. I think they understand" Alexander interrupted her.
"Did I hear we were going home?" Toby chimed, walking in with Maisie hand in hand
"Yeah" I nodded
"Thank god for that" Maisie said
"Wait. Do I not get anything then?" Toby asked
"What do you mean?" Sophie asked
"I thought I'd get a title. A crown or something" he asked
"I told you already, you don't get anything down here" Sin snapped exhausted
He frowned, sitting down as he pulled Maisie into his lap
"I never get anything" he grumbled annoyed

"You think it'll really go badly tomorrow?" I asked Sin
We were sat on our balcony, looking up at the sky
Well... what passes as a sky down here
Darkness swirls into itself
It's mesmerising
I sat back into his arms, as he pressed kisses into my hair
"I think we have to accept that it's more violent down here than it is at home. We'll have to make tough decisions here" Sin said
"But we... we won't lose us will we?" I asked
"What do you mean?" He asked, his hold slowly tightening
"I mean... you won't end up Lucian. I won't... I won't want the violent outcomes" I said, facing him
I was scared this world would corrupt us. Change us into people we weren't.
"No. I'll always think of you. And what you would say. And you'll always think of them. And their feelings, because you're compassionate. And loving. You're everything a kingdom needs" he said lovingly, staring into my eyes as he stroking my hair out of my face
"I love you Sin" I said
"I... I can't wait to rule with you" I said honestly
"Good, because I can't wait for my lifetime with you" he chuckled, pulling me down to rest upon his chest
"We just have to become Alpha and Luna now. Then we really will be stressed" he joked
I smiled at the thought
"My Alpha" I said warmly
"Mm, yours only" he said quietly.
We are nearly at the end! Can you believe it? I am so happy for Toby now! And Sin and Blossom are too cute, I just can't! 😭
