Theodore's Pov:
"Dear students, due to recent events, we have decided to end this Hogwarts year a bit earlier, the date being June 2nd. Meaning, the O.W.L.S and N.E.W.T.S shall be held earlier as well. I shall publish the exam schedules in about a week, and the objectives shall be what you've learned from the start of the year to last week" Professor McGonagall announced at dinner in the great hall
"I trust you will all respect the reason behind this decision and study well. Thank you"
The rest of the students in the hall went back to murmuring and chatting, whereas Mattheo and Aliyah looked quite uneasy. "We're going to have to leave early this year?" Fidgeted Mattheo with the rings on his fingers, Aliyah doing the same.
"I really don't want to go back, and I think I've lost my appetite" she got up to leave for the Astronomy Tower.
To not raise Mattheo's recent suspicions, I followed behind her ten minutes later. And there she was, leaning against the railing. "Why'd you leave?" I wrapped my arms around her from behind
"Didn't want to be there anymore..." she replied with a sigh "Theo, what am I going to do?"
"I'm not sure, but what I do know is that you have to talk to me on the phone every day and you need to keep going. That's part of what you should try to do"
"And, what's the other part?"... "I'm not sure. What I'm sure of is that I love you" I kissed her neck softly. "What I'm sure of is that Mattheo would kill us both if he heard that" she joked and we both chuckled.
"You're damn right" someone's voice called out from behind. We both turned around to see Mattheo, Oh no.
"Matt, I-" "Cut the bullshit, Al, how long has this been going on?"
We both stayed silent. "Theo?" Mattheo questioned. I kept silent, trying to form the right words but they just wouldn't come out.
"Theodore, answer me" "What" "How long?" ... "I don't kn-"
"Theodore answer me, how long have you been fucking around with my sister?" He asked angrily once more.
"We've never slept together, Mattheo" Aliyah replied, "I don't give a shit, how long have you been keeping this from me?!" He yelled
I sighed, "Since mid-March" I admitted. He scoffed, "Almost three months, then? Aliyah, almost three months and you didn't tell me about this?" He scolded
"I promise you, we wanted to tell you earlier, but we wanted to be secret for a while, and we knew you'd be mad, I'm sorry" she apologized.
There was a pause of silence "He treats you well?" He asked. Excuse me? "Mattheo, I treat her amazingly- ", "I asked Aliyah." He cut me off, raising a brow at her
"Mattheo he treats me better than any other guy ever has" I felt my heart flutter at her words.
... "You keep her safe and out of trouble and we're good, alright mate?" He sighed. "Of course".

Aliyah and I were studying together in the library. The day was extremely hot, so she wore a short-sleeved shirt. Normal, right? Wrong.
Lucian Bole and Adrian Pucey were both snickering in the corner of the library with a few of their other friends. Short-sleeved tops meant the scars from Voldemort and Bellatrix were very visible.
"Fucking assholes" i mumbled angrily as I stared at them, gripping my quill which Aliyah stopped me from almost breaking. "It's fine, I don't really care, let them laugh" she rolled her eyes, but I didn't let it pass.
"I'm serious, Leah, if they whisper something else about you I'm going to absolutely fucking lose it", She chuckled "Theo, really, I couldn't give a shit less, I have more important things to do other than make fun of others" she said that sentence loud enough for them to hear.
They just giggled like the idiots they are and whispered something else to each other with a laugh. I stood up to go start a fight, but she simply gripped my hand "Calm down, we'll just leave"
She gathered her stuff and we left to study in the common room. "You heard her, go somewhere else" Adrian teased. I wanted to punch him in the face, but she stopped me again "Don't, Theo. Really immature of you two, by the way, how are your grades doing? Under the average as usual I might suspect" she snapped back at them

About an hour after studying, I made sure Aliyah couldn't find me as I left to search for Adrian and Lucian, finding them outside in the garden. "Aww, Theo, calm down, listen to your little girlfriend" Lucian mocked.
"You think it's funny to make fun of her?" I almost lost it. "I mean..." Adrian chuckled "have you looked at her properly? She's a freak" Sorry?
"What did you just say?" I raised a brow. "Said she was a freak, it's nothing but the truth" Lucian repeated, and he crossed his arms. I was out of it.
I punched him hard in the face and he stumbled backwards "What the fuck's wrong with you?!" Yelled Adrian, who I punched next, making his mouth bleed. Lucian was back on his feet and punched me.
I kicked him and turned to Adrian, punching him in the face again and Lucian punched me in the stomach. I attacked him with a kick to the balls, earning me a kick in the back of the knees from Adrian. I fell to my knees but used it as an advantage to punch him in the chin.
The boy stumbled backwards and Lucian got off the ground just in time to punch me in the face and I held my now bleeding nose in pain "You piece of shit!" I groaned, elbowing him in the hip.
By now, a crowd had formed around us, watching the scene unfold as we fought. I punched Adrian as he was on the ground relentlessly "You never talk about her again, you understand?!" I yelled. Lucian attacked me from behind, pulling my hair to move my head back and punching me.
I got off the ground and pinned Lucian to the tree beside us, kicking him in the stomach just as Adrian managed to kick me. "Fuck!" I fell to the ground, groaning.
They smirked "Not so strong now are you, Nott?" Adrian punched me in the eye. Lucian attempted to kick me, but I caught his leg in time and dragged him onto the ground.
I stumbled up and held Adrian by the collar "You don't know what I can do if I really want to" i uttered.
I was about to swing at him again, before Marcus held Adrian back and George held me back as well. "You alright, mate?" He asked, "Piss off" I got out of his grip and stormed off to the first place I thought of — Aliyah's dorm.
I knocked on her dorm door, "It's open!" She said, and I walked in. "Hey, Theo- " she looked up from her book, her gaze worrying as she saw my state. All bloody and beaten up.
"My fucking merlin, what happened?!" She dragged me into her bathroom. I sat on the counter as she brought out a first-aid kit and began to clean my face with a wet rag. "Go on, explain yourself!"
"Bole and Pucey were talking shit about you, beat them up both" i groaned as she began to put antiseptic on my open injuries. "Seriously, Theo? I told you to ignore them, why'd you make a big deal out of it?"
"Sorry" I chuckled. "I appreciate you did that Theo, but fights are not the answer to everything" she remarked. "Mhm".
She bandaged up my nose and placed a cold, wet towel on my bruised eye. "Hands", "Yes ma'am" I put my blistered hands into hers that she started to clean up. I winced at the burning sensation, squeezing her hand. "Relax, the pain'll be over in a minute"
My other hand made its way into her hair, bringing her closer "Theo you do realize kissing won't make the pain go away" she chuckled, "does for me"
