I was texting Elijah when I heard Jamal breathing heavily behind me. I turned around and saw he had his face against the AC with it blasting.
'You can't turn the AC up that high. You're gonna blow the power' I told Jamal. 'Dani!' Both Monse and Olivia exclaimed. 'Hi!' I exclaimed back with wide eyes. They're still friends, so she doesn't know.
'I need to regulate my body temperature' Jamal said panting.
'I have to pee so bad. And I'm sprouting major turtle-head' Jasmine said, jumping up and down.
'Daniela, can you ask Oscar to get out of the bathroom?' She asked me pleading.
'He doesn't listen to me' I shrugged. 'You ask him' she looked at the bathroom door hesitating before saying she'll hold it.
'What kind of game you wanna play?' Ruby asked Olivia. 'You guys feeling words, pictures, cards?'
'How about a game that reveals your innermost feelings and secrets?' Olivia suggested. 'Or KerPlunk?' Jamal said, making me chuckle.
'How about smash, marry, kill?' Olivia asked, looking around at everyone. Before anyone could answer, the power went off.

'I think that was a sign that we shouldn't play this game' Jamal said, holing his phone flashlight to his face.
'Can I talk to you in the kitchen?' Ruby asked him. 'No, thanks' Jamal responded nervously. 'Jamal, if you come to the kitchen, I'll show you where the snacks are' Ruby said, making Jamal follow him instantly.
'Dani, wanna play with us?' Monse asked me. I shrugged and went to joint them by the table.
'Let's go find some candles first. I can't see shit' I told them, holding up my phone flashlight. We began looking for candles, Jamal, Ruby and Jasmine joining us soon after.
'So, everyone's good?' I asked them all as we lit the Jesus and Maria candles we found. 'Yeah, why?' Monse asked confused. 'No reason' I shrugged.
I saw Jamal look at me from the corner of my eye. 'What?'
'Can I talk to you in the kitchen?' Jamal asked. Before I could respond, he pulled me to the kitchen, leaving the rest to light the candles.
'Do you know something?' He asked me with wide eyes. 'Do you know something?' I asked him back.
'I might know something' he whispered. 'I might know something too' I whispered back as we both looked at the others to make sure they couldn't hear.
'What's the thing that you know?' I asked him, making him shook his head. 'I can't tell you until you tell me what you know'
'I can't tell you' I shrugged. 'Well, then I can't tell you what I know' Jamal shrugged back.
We looked at eachother suspiciously, looking eachother up and down.
'You don't know' I smirked at him. He just wants me to give him Cesar's secret. 'Well, if Cesar walks into the house before my alarm goes off and I will hear the thing that I think that I know you know is the thing that I know you know' Jamal rambled, making me gasp.
'You know!' I whisper yelled at him, making him gasp back. 'And you know!'
'Cesar and Olivia!' Jamal shushed me. 'I'm so happy I can finally talk to someone about it' Jamal whined. 'Cesar only has fifteen minutes before I can't keep his secret anymore' Jamal showed me his watch.
'If you tell his secret, I'll kill you' I told him seriously, making him gulp.
'The fuck is that smell?' I asked, scrunching up my nose. 'Jasmine peed in the sink'
'You guys coming?' Ruby asked. Jamal and I went back to the table and sat down. Jamal looking around nervously again.
We began the game, Ruby going first and taking his time as always.
'Go, Ruby! We don't have all day!' I sighed as he kept thinking.
'Actually, we do. We're locked in' Jasmine responded, making me raise an eyebrow at her. 'Don't give me attitude' I told her, making her quickly nod her head.
'I'm a gentleman, I make love. I don't smash' Ruby said, making us roll our eyes. 'Well, then you're not doing it right because if you want a girl to bow, then you got to plow' Jasmine said, giving him a flirtatious smile as Ruby backed up. 'Right, Daniela?'
'Anyways' I sighed, rubbing the sides of my head. These kids give me a headache everyday. 'Make love, Marry or Kill' I asked Ruby.
'Maybe we should ixnay the undemay' Jamal suggested.
'No more rewrites, Jamal' Monse sighed. 'I'll go first. I'd kill Jasmine' Monse said, making Jasmine shrug. 'I'd make love to Ruby-'
'That's really considerate, just as I would be as a lover' Ruby interrupted. 'And then I'd marry Jamal'
'Seriously?' Jamal asked offended. 'Why not make love to me and marry Ruby?'
'We're married. We're having sex' Monse exclaimed annoyed. 'What about the marital death bed?' Jamal pestered.
'Fine, I'm changing my answer. I'd make love to Jamal and marry Ruby. Happy?' Monse sighed, looking between the both of them.
'I am. Because even though we're married, we're having sex and a lot of it' Ruby smiled smug. 'She made me get clipped' Ruby whispered to Jamal, even though everyone could hear.
All of the sudden, we heard Oscar's laugh from beside us. He was leaning against the wall, looking and laughing at us.
'You want to play?' Jasmine hesitated. 'Okay' Oscar nodded, making me roll my eyes. 'I'd kill you' he pointed towards Jamal. 'I'd kill you' he pointed towards Ruby.
'I'd smash you' he pointed towards Olivia. 'I'd smash you' he pointed towards Monse. He looked toward Jasmine. She began showing off her boobs and smiling at him.
'Fine, I'd smash you too' he said, making Jasmine smile proudly. 'Then I'd kill you' her smile gone now.
He went back to the bathroom. I quickly got up and followed after him. 'Anything about Cesar?' I asked him before he could close the door. 'Nothing' he shook his head.
'Is Enrique..' I asked him. 'At the hospital' he answered. 'Te dire algo if I know something about Cesar' he told me before closing the door again.
I walked back to the table and it was my turn. 'You guys are all kids and give me a headache' I sighed. 'I'd marry Monse and Olivia and kill the rest of you' I said, making the three of them open their mouths in betrayal. 'You didn't pick make love yet!' Ruby said, winking at me.
'I'd fuck Micheal b Jordan' I shrugged, making the girls agree with me. 'I see it' Jamal shrugged along.
'My turn' Jamal said. 'I'd marry Olivia. Monse and Dani can be my side pieces. And I'd kill Jasmine' he decided.
'All right, now it's starting to hurt' Jasmine said, making me snort. 'Okay, my turn' Olivia said smiling.
'I'd make love to Monse-' 'Excuse me, can you say that slower?' Ruby asked her, making me roll my eyes.
'I'd make love to Monse' Olivia said slower, Ruby smiling smugly. 'I'd marry Ruby. And I'd kill Jasmine'
'All y'all can suck a bag of buttholes' Jasmine said scoffing, Olivia, Monse and I chuckling.
I saw Jamal kept looking at his watch. I pointed to his watch with my head to ask how long till he was gonna explode. Jamal mouthed 'one' to me with a panicked expression.
All of the sudden, the door opened loudly, making us all jump and look at Cesar who was standing there panting.
'Cesar!' I exclaimed. 'You had me worried sick, idiota'
'You kissed Olivia?' Oh shit. Monse asked him. The lights suddenly went back on as we all looked between them,
Jamal's timer went off. 'It wasn't me!' Jamal cheered.
