I sat in my room, listening to everyone else outside. I was debating going, but there was something that stopped me. I stood up and walked to the door, until someone opened it. "Hi." Cesar greeted. I didn't really have the energy for round two, plus I can't help the situation, he made his decision. I just hugged him. "I'm sorry Luna." He whispered in my ear. "I hate you." I whispered back. He tried to pull away, but I hugged him tighter. "I swear to god, if you get shot, I'll kill ya." I said. "I know." He smiled. "How's Oscar?" I changed the subject. "Oh, that's why you've been hiding in your room." Cesar laughed. "Shut up! I'm still mad at you. Now tell me, how is he?" I yelled, playfully hitting his arm. "Defeated, perhaps traumatized." Cesar joked. I just stared at him, waiting for him to be serious. "Oh god, just see for yourself." Cesar groaned and pulled me outside. "Cesar, stop it, I mean it." I tried pulling back. He opened the front door, where I could see all the guys chilling outside. I had so many eyes on me, I couldn't even say anything. Until, they all started applauding me. I looked at them confused, feeling like something was behind me. "Yo, Sad Eyes, your mana's badass!" Joker pushed Antonio while applauding. "This is ridiculous." I laughed, walking down the porch stairs. "See, it's all good, you worried about nothin'. This is your familia, you're supposed to fight sometimes." Antonio said while hugging me, and handing me a beer.
I couldn't help but look at Oscar, who had the classic smirk on his face. I walked over to him, wanting to talk. "Oscar." I said. "Lulu?" He teased, knowing I hated the nickname. It was what my brother called me when I was little, but even he stopped using it. "Hey, I'm trying to be nice here!" I snapped at him. "Nice?" He asked, being even more annoying. "This is a peace offering. I'm sorry for disrespecting you, even though it was needed." I said, straightening my hand out for a handshake. "Wow, what an apology." He looked at me, honestly looking very good. His brows were furrowed, and eyes a beautiful brown, making it hard for me to think straight. I just looked at my hand, which was still out, waiting for him to shake my hand. He looked down at it too, and shook it, relief filling my body. "You lucky you're cute." He said and took another sip of his beer, before walking away. What? What the fuck just happened. My whole body froze. Did he mean cute as in toddler that just had a temper tantrum? Or cute as in cute? Oh my god shut up you have a boyfriend. I need to grow up, he would never see me in that way, I'm his best friend's little sister, just like he said.
