Cara POV:
Since Germany didnt qualify for the Olympics 2020 i had the whole Summer Break time to reflect the last season and to start my Training.
After the ending of the Season i had a two weeks Vaction in the US with Robby and Elena who came with me.We had an amazing time in Los Angeles but i decided that two weeks were enough for me and wanted to start my training again and to improve my game.
I was back in my Hometown and in my Parents Home since my father is gonna help me with my training.He was an Athlete and is still very fit since he is a headcoach for an Ice Hockey Team so he knows what it needs for me to be in an amazing shape.Before i head to the Home Gym my Dad has i decided to make an Instagram Post about my Vaction in LA.

Had an amazing time in LA with two of my favorite People now its time to get back to work and to start the training for my first season in London.

My Father and i sat down together to make a training plan and decided to do a Gym Session and a Pitch Session every Day.Luckliy i still have a good contact with my first Football Club in my Hometown so we can train on their field.
The training went perfectly and I was able to improve in many things and learn new things. In addition, I was able to add a lot to the strength training. In my free time I watched the Olympic football games and decided to write Leah before the quarter-final game against Australia
Cara:Hey, I just wanted to wish you luck and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you get to the semi-finals
Just a few minutes later my phone rings with a notification
Leah (Skipper): Thanks but why are you writing me in the middle of the night ?
I look at the message confused before remembering that she is in Tokyo and we have a time difference of 6 hours
Cara:Oh Shit..im sorry i forgot we have a time difference😳😅.Why are you awake then ?I looked and its 3 in the morning in Tokyo.
Leah (Skipper): Haha no problem.I cant sleep anyway.I'm really nervous and try to calm myself down with Sudoku
Cara: Sudoku ?Wow that's boring
Leah (Skipper):Eyyy i like it and it calms me down.
Cara:Sorry.You dont have to be nervous.You are an amazing player who can make the diffrence.Just have fun out there and enjoy this moment.Not everyone has the chance to play at the olympics.
Leah (Skipper):Yeah im trying.I promise.
Leah (Skipper): How are you ?Still in Germany ?
Cara:Yes, but I was in London for a few days to set up my apartment
Leah (Skipper): And what does it look like ?Can you move in yet ?
Cara: Well, I have all the furniture there and put it together. Now all that's missing are a few boxes and my clothes, which I'll do in the next few days
Leah (Skipper):Did you set everything up by yourself ?😳
Cara:Yes, I haven't had any problems with that. I like building things 😊
Leah (Skipper):Good to know 👀
Cara:Haha..now you should go to sleep Miss Williamson.I expect a Goal from you tomorrow 👀
Leah (Skipper): Me and GoaIs ?.Nooo thats your Job.I'm there at the back to make up for the mistakes people like you make at the front 😉😚
Cara:Me and Mistakes ?Never.
Now sleep Williamson! Otherwise you'll fall asleep on the pitch tomorrow.
Leah (Skipper):Im sure you make mistakes too! But okay im trying to sleep now.Good Night Cara!❤️

I smile because of the whole conversation we had but then it hits me.Leah is not Single.Leah is with Jordan and is not available besides that im not in London to find a Girlfriend im there to play Football.So just focus on that Cara
A few weeks later I am standing at the airport with my parents to start my trip to London. Everything was now ready in London and the preparation would begin in a few days, which is why I would fly there today. My mother is probably hugging me for the third time now.
"Mom, it's a two hour flight and this isn't the first time I've lived alone," I tell her with a smile
"I know, but from now on you'll be living in a different country. Before, it was only an hour's drive to get to you," my mother says and I roll my eyes slightly
"I understand your mother... it's just a small difference," my father finally said and I nodded with a smile,
"I know but you really don't have to worry. We write and we talk on the phone often and I come to visit you and you guys are welcome at any time," I say to the two of them and hug my mother again.
"Thank you.. thank you for everything. Without you, I wouldn't be able to go" I say and smile at the two of them.
"We thank you..you are the perfect child" says my mother and i chuckle a bit a little later I go into the airport.
After a roughly two-hour flight, I find myself in London Heathrow and take a taxi to my apartment.
Tomorrow I would pick up my new car from an Audi car center. After all, I have a cooperation with them, but I have to take a few pictures with those responsible In return I get a beautiful Audi A7 in completely black.
When I get to my apartment, I briefly contact my parents to let them know that everything is fine before I clear out the remaining things from the suitcase and finally find myself in a finished apartment.
I look around with a smile and am glad that everything was finished on time.
After a while I grab my keys and go to one of the supermarkets that is only a few minutes' walk away to buy something for this evening. I had no plans for today but would just relax and enjoy the peace and quiet before the season would start.
When I get home, I cook a rice dish with meat and eat in peace before the doorbell rings. I look confused at my watch on my wrist and get up to open the door.
I stand in front of smiling faces and look at them confused
,,Have I forgotten something or why is the whole team here?" I ask the group and laugh slightly,
"Well, we found out that today is your first day in London and we thought we would visit our newcomer"says Beth and I smile
"And by we do you mean the whole team?" I ask and all of them laugh a bit.
,,Not the whole team a few of us didnt have time" Leah says to me with a big smile.
I step aside and watch how Leah,Jordan,Lia,Beth,Viv,Jen,Steph,Katie,Kim,Laura,Manu,Noelle and Caitlin step inside.
They all go to my living room and take a place i step infront of them and take a deep breath ,,Okay..what do you guys want to drink ?" I ask and i stand just a few minutes later in my kitchen making some drinks while the Girls are ordering some Pizza.Luckliy i always have drinks at Home and like to be a Barkeeper
Leah comes up to me and i smile at her ,,Everything all right ?" I ask her
Leah POV:
I came up with the idea to suprise Cara and have a little Team evening.Sadly not everyone had time but the most of us came and it was definitely worth it.The reaction in her face was priceless
I watch after her and look at her while she stands in her open kitchen and makes us all some drinks.She is already a good hostess because she makes the effort to fulfill everyone's wishes
I decide to stand up and look at Jordan ,,I help her a bit" i say to her and she just nods and goes back to talk to Caitlin.We had a small fight before we came to visit her because Jordan didnt want to come which I don't understand.Cara was nice and seemed very open and wanted to get to know us.
I walked to her and smile ,,Yes i just want to help you" i say and lean against her Kitchen Island
,,You can slice the lemons if you want too" she says and takes out a few glasses from one of the cupboards.
I nod and she hands me a board, a knife and the net full of lemons
I start to slice the lemons and look over to her and watch how focused she is making the drinks.
"Are you excited?" I ask her with a smile and look back at the board to continue cutting the lemons.
"Yes...I'm looking forward to it starting soon and would like to get to know the team further," she tells me and I nod with a smile.
My gaze goes over to the group where they were all chatting before I look back at Cara "How did you and Lia actually meet?" I ask.
"We have mutual friends and have always had good contact with each other," she explains to me and I nod
"And...is there more between you?" I ask. I just wanted to know whether Cara might be interested in Lia or whether she already has someone at her side. Cara looks at me with a slight grin and shakes her head.
"No...we're just good friends. Plus...Lia is definitely interested in Caitlin if you haven't noticed yet," she tells me and I smile
"That might be true about Lia and Caitlin, but that doesn't mean you don't feel something for Lia," I tell her, grinning slightly
"I know," she says, nodding, "But there's really nothing...we're just good friends," Cara says and smiles at me. She has a beautiful smile and generally seems very nice, I notice again
"How are you? How are things going with Jordan?" she asks me and I sigh slightly
"I'm fine, actually, but...well, Jordan and I are having a little stress again. But it'll definitely work out," I tell her, smiling slightly Cara nods and looks over at me.
"If you need someone to talk to or for advice, I'm always available," she tells me and we smile at each other.
"Thank you.." I say lightly and she nods before we go back to the others.
We all sit relaxed in the group and chat before Beth stands up and looks at us.
"It's time for truth or dare" she says excitedly and most of us don't feel like it
"You suggest that every time Beth" Jen says, rolling her eyes
"So what? It's funny and so we can get to know our newbie a little more," she says and everyone looks over at Cara, who looks slightly overwhelmed, which looks pretty sweet.
"If necessary," she says and drinks her glass
“Yes, it has to,” Beth says shortly and sits down next to Katie
"Cara...truth or dare?" Katie asks her and grins slightly
"Since the evening is still young, let's start with truth," says Cara with a smile
Katie and Beth look at each other grinning before looking at Cara
,,With who of this group would you go out on a date if you had too ?" Beth asks and Cara just rolls her eyes slightly before laughing a bit.
She looks at the group and looks back at Katie and Beth "Leah...but since she's taken I think Lia" she says and Lia laughs a little like everyone else except Caitlin and Jordan who didn't seem to find this funny at all
"But Lia and I would never date each other," she says and Lia nods
"That's right...Cara only has one-night stands with other soccer players and no serious relationships," she says with a grin and Cara just shakes her head and grins
"Oh, I want to know more about that now," says Beth and a few others finally nod
"I've had relationships, it's not like that, but I try to avoid having long-term relationships with people in the same job as possible and have only had one-night stands with other female footballers," she explains to us
"But why?" Jen asks
"There was once a big problem with an ex who was also a footballer and I've been trying to avoid it ever since," she answers and smiles slightly
"And who are these soccer players you had something with?" Beth asks and Cara grins slightly
"Well, now it's my turn to ask questions," she says Caitlin was more relaxed now but Jordan still didn't seem to like her answer and that's what she looked like.I decided to ignore her and have a nice evening with my friends.
We continued playing truth or dare the whole evening and it was really fun. We got to know more about each other and Cara didn't seem to mind opening up either. Gradually everyone left and I helped Cara clean up in the kitchen
"Leah, just drive home... there's not much left and I can do it on my own," Cara says to me again, smiling
"But I would like to help as a thank you for the great evening," I tell her
"I have to thank you then, okay? And now get going. It's late," she says and takes the glasses out of my hand and I just sigh before she brings Jordan, Beth, Viv and me to the door
"Come home safely," says Cara and we all say goodbye with a hug
"Sleep well and we'll hear each other" says Beth and we all say goodnight before we finally left and Viv first drove me and Jordan home and then was alone with Beth.
I liked Cara as a friend obviously and im sure that soon we will be very good friends who are there for each other and im very excited for that.
