Cara POV:
I took a deep breath before making my way to the entrance of the building and go inside.I look around a bit and see a women sitting behind a big front desk.She smiles at me and i smile back before i can say anything she speaks up.
,,You must be our new signing" she says with a big smile and i nod
,,Ah yes..Cara Gross" i say smiling
,,I know..i call and let Jonas know you are here" she says and grabs the telephone.
I nod and look a bit around why am I suddenly so nervous? I mean I'm just changing the club and the country I live in and well my move will be the biggest transfer fee ever in women's football. Ok now i know again why im so nervous i took again a deep breath and the women speaks to me again
,,Jonas is on his way" she tells me and i thank her and wait for him.
Just a few minutes later he comes with a big smile around the corner
,,Cara..finally.Im so excited to see you again" he says all smiley
I smile big and we hug each other for a short time ,,Well im glad to finally be here"
He smiles and nods ,,Ok so im gonna show you everything a bit and then we gonna sign the contract.Make some Photos and you have to do one or two interviews before you can meet the other girls.They have Training to day and because of all the rumours about you moving here they will be excited to finally see you which they dont know till later" he says and i nod with a big smile
,,All right sounds good" i say.
Jonas shows me the whole training ground before we sign the contract and make the first photos with my new Shirt and my new Number.At Wolfsburg i always had the number 7 for the National Team i always have Number 21 because these were taken i choose Number 14.Which was more than okay since Robby one of my best friends had his birthday on an 14th.
,,If you have nothing to do later we would like to do a few photos in the emirates stadium" Jonas says to me and i nod
,,I would love too" i said and smile again for the next pictures.
I do a few interviews for Arsenal before i get all my Equipment and when i say all i mean all my Equipment.Shirts,Hoodies, Sweatshirts,Sweatpants,Bags,Jackets.
Litreally two full big bags and i even had to leave something by my locker that Jonas showed me because i couldnt fit everything in.I looked to the lockers next to me and read the names.Lia Wälti and Katie Mccabe.I know both a bit Lia played with a few of my Friends at Turbine Potsdam a few years ago and well i know Katie from football everytime we played against each other we got into a bit of a fight but nothing serious because later we just hug each other and are good again.
Jonas smiles to me ,,Wanna meet the Girls ?" he asks and i smile
,,I would love too" i say and we go out to all the training pitches.
I still wear the new Arsenal Shirt with my Number till we just got done with the Photos and i feel more than comfortable in this Shirt.We talk as we walk to the training pitch were i can see the girls running before we reach the pitch and Jonas whistles to get everyone together
,,So Girls..i would like you to meet someone" he says smiley ,,Our new record signing Cara Gross from Germany" he says and i smile to the Group
,,Hey..nice to meet you Girls" i say and shook everyones hand
,,You can thank her because you now got a short break" Jonas smiles and goes away with all the other coaches.
,,You look good in Red" Lia says and i chuckle a bit ,,Thanks"
,,Were all the offers real ?" Jordan Nobbs asks and i nod
,,Yes except the one from Bayern Munich..this was years ago" i smile a bit and look to her.I know her i played against her a few times with Wolfsburg well i knew most of them.
,,And you choose Arsenal over Barcalona and Lyon ?" Vivianne Miedema asks
,,Yes..i like London and well i heard London is red so this one blue club in London had no chance" i say which makes a few them chuckle
,,Are you gonna train with us today ?" Number 6 asks.Leah Williamson well i definitely know her.She pissed me off a few times when we played against each other and she was really beautiful so this face was not easy to forget.
,,I would love too but i dont think so..also i dont have my cleats with me" i answer with a smile and get one in return.
I look to the coaches and steal the ball from Lias feet
,,But if you guys want we can play a bit" i say with a smile and everyone agrees.
We make two teams and do an small 6 vs 6
Manu,Steph,Lotte,Katie,Beth and myself at one team against Lydia,Jen Beattie,Leah,Jordan,Kim and Viv all the others decided to watch and we go to all smaller play field
,,Dont get injured" Lia says to me with a small grin
,,Me ?Never" i say with a grin and i look to Viv
,,Dont go to hard on me..im wearing Jeans" i say with a chuckle and she smiles
,,We will see" she says and i grin a bit.
The little fun match begins and i knew right away that Beth Mead and i will destory this league.Nothing will beat our chemistry we never played together but we know right away what the other on does.Just a few minutes in the score is 2:0 for my Team and i clap hands with Beth.She did score both goals after my assists
,,The next one is yours" she says with a smile and i grin a bit.We go to the middle i clap hands with everyone else except Manu i gave her a thumb up and smile.
We play again and got a goal in a few minutes later from Kim but we play again i make get the ball from beth on the middle line.I got through 3 of the others and get a beautiful Goal after i send Lydia with a small trick to the wrong side as i go to the other.I smile and make brief eye contact with Leah who smiles
,,Next Time i wont let you through" she says with a grin and i chuckle
,,We will see" i say cheeky
The trainers are now looking at everything and going in to finish the whole thing.
,,That was very good. It looks like Cara fits in well. The training is over for today, we'll see you tomorrow" Jonas says and takes me to the side.
He tells me that the shooting in the emirates will be tomorrow and after that i can get my flight back to Wolfsburg to have my last two weeks there.
All the girls already went in and i follow them to the changing room.
,,Viv,you and me will be an amazing Attack Trio..i know that" Beth says and i smile
,,I think so too..we already have great chemistry" i say to her and take seat by my locker.
Katie comes out the shower and sits beside me
,,Do you have an Apartment already ?"she asks me and i nod
,,Yeah but i dont have furniture.So im searching for a Hotel for this night" i say while looking at my phone to find a hotel.
She nods and looks a bit around ,,Does anyone want to give our newbie a place to sleep at night? She has no furniture" she says out loud.
I look confused up to her ,,First of all newbie ?Really ?Second of all i will go to a hotel.I dont want to annoy anyone" i say to everyone who looks at us with a small smile.
,,Well you dont annoy anyone so you can sleep in my guestroom" Lia says who sits by my left and i smile a bit
,,Thanks" i say and i talk to Lia for a while
,,I give you the address so you can come later to my place" Lia says and i nod.
I take an Uber back to my Apartment and leave the Arsenal Equipment there because i dont need it in Germany.I take the luggage i came with and go to a wine shop to buy Lia one because i wanted to thank her.Before i go to Lia i take a walk around St.Albans to see where everything important is.
Two Hours Later im standing in front of Lia's Door and knock.
I thought Lia would open the door for me, but suddenly Leah stood in front of me. I look at her confused and look at the doorbell,
"I'm pretty sure your name isn't Wälti. What are you doing here?" i chuckle and she grins at me.
,,Team Night..well not Team we are just a few.So i would say Friends Night" she says and i nod taking a step inside.
I follow her inside and Lia stands up ,,There you are..sorry this whole Meeting was spontaneous" she says
,,Everything is okay..here for you as a small thank you" i say and give her the wine
,,Awww thanks but that wouldn't have been necessary" she says after giving me a hug and looks at the wine.
She goes away to get some wine glasses and i look at the others.Leah,Jordan,Jen,Beth,Steph and Caitlin i sit next to Beth and she takes out her phone
,,I need your number to add you to the group" she says and i smile taking her phone and give her my number.I look over to her phone and laugh a bit when i see what name she uses to save me
,,Really ?German Beast with a german flag behind ?"i ask her and she shows it around and everybody laughs a bit.
,,Well its true..you're like Katie just in German and taller" she says and we all laugh.
I get the notification that i have been added to the group and then put my phone away again.
Lia comes to the living room with the glasses and gives everyone one
,,Next time..not a wine thats that expensive.I checked"she says and i grin a bit
,,Maybe we will see" i say and we all take a sip of the wine.
Everyone has a conversation with someone and I've been talking to Beth and Jen for a long time who enlighten me about everything that's important
,,Soo Jordan and Leah have an On off thing the whole time..its complicated.Katie has a Girlfriend she plays for Aston Villa..Caitlin and Lia are maybe a thing we dont know that and everyone else is either with someone outside of football or Single" Beth says while we were outside in the Backyard from Lia's House and i nod
,,And Beth has feelings for Viv" Jen says which makes me laugh a bit while Beth is looking at her slightly angry but with a fun smile on the same face
,,Thats not right..i dont have feelings.I just like her" she says and i grin while looking to Jen who just rolls her eyes.
,,And are Leah and Jordan right now a thing or off in the moment ?" i ask while i finish the rest of my wine
,,Right now they are together but i dont know how long this will last..they argue often" she says and i nod.So Leah is not Single..wait why do i think about that ?Im here to play football.I take a short deep breath before looking at Jen and Beth again.
,,Are you nervous ?I mean you have your last Game in Wolfsburg in two Weeks" Jen asks and i smile a bit
,,Yes of course but im sure that this was the right choice.To make the next step" i say before we go inside again.
The Night was funny and long but i flew back the next evening after my shoot at the emirates which was cool.
Back in Wolfsburg i met Obi the same night and we did go to a restuarant were i told her everything that has happend and she was happy that i was happy with my decision.

Next Chapter will be a bit emotional.Cara will leave Wolfsburg and will then move to London.
