"𝐌𝐘 baby look just like me." saniya turned the camera to show her ultrasound photos. "i kinda see rondo." heavyn tilted her head to the side, trying to get a better look.
"don't play like that." saniya put her face in the camera and blank stared her. Sky laughed.
"if my baby look like him i might just cry." saniya admitted. "rondo definitely gon fuck up my lil one." Sky frowned jokingly.
"i like that nickname." saniya smiled at the thought. she loved how supportive her family and friends were of her having this baby.
it was nothing but love towards her and rondos baby. part of her was terrified that they wouldn't except her and the baby.
"what lil one?" sky raised an eyebrow. "yeah it's cute." saniya smiled widely. "i'll call y'all back when i leave." saniya told before hanging up.
"you ever wonder what you'd do if von got you pregnant?" heavyn sat next to sky on the couch.
"i probably would abort it." sky looked down at the floor as she shrugged. "what? why" heavyn was shocked to hear that answer.
"i thought you would use that as a way to keep him." heavyn scratched her head. "i can't keep nobody who don't wanna be kept." sky affirmed.
"but im definitely not right for kids and besides im only nineteen." She told. "right right" heavyn flicked through shows on the Tv.
"watch this movie with me." heavyn smiled excitedly. before sky could respond booka walked into the house with all his friends.
"yeah... no." sky got up from the couch and walked upstairs to her room.
"don't nobody care about her little attitude." booka made a weird face. "the fuck happened?" heavyn returned the weird face.
"she got mad at me because i called her out on her shit." booka had no empathy for their argument.
"what shit?" heavyn suddenly got defensive over sky due to her not being in the room. "she don't listen and she gon fuck up her life moving the way she is." booka shook his head as he expressed the way he felt.
"she seem fine to me." heavyn scuffed. "whatchu mean how she moving?" La was confused.
"she irresponsible, she know she gotta get certain shit done but keep fucking up." booka explained.
"like remember when her parole officer came, she ain't even drug test her because her ass was high out her mind." he added.
"why you telling her business?" heavyn looked at him angrily. "not cool." she mugged him.
"she need to get her shit together bruh, don't be acting like she just normal." booka argued.
"ok she going through some real shit right now, just be there for her." heavyn argued back.
La watched the two go back and forth. He didn't feel comfortable giving his opinion for two reasons.
One sky wasn't in the room so it would be pointless to just be talking about her. Two they were all family, blood related he didn't wanna get in between that.
In the back of his mind La lowkey agreed with Booka. Him being close to sky and loving her like she was his blood he wanted what was best for her.
He tried to support her through whatever phase she was going through, because he knew she'd do the same for him.
"what real shit? Von??." booka waved her off.
"her and von do this shit every year, and he was just here yesterday. she holding on to a nigga who don't wanna be with her. she ain't doing nothing but hurting herself." he ranted.
"damn if that's how you feel, tell her bout it. you ain't never said that shit to her face." heavyn got up from the couch and followed sky to her room.
"am i wrong?" booka looked over at La who seemed to be lost in his thoughts.
"you could've came at it a different way, like heavyn said she is going through some shit just be there for her." La shrugged.
"you know how she is with von, this shit been going on for too long." booka said irritably. "it's personal for her i mean nun of us really know how it effect her but her" La responded.
"you right, but still." booka stated.

"𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐍 he gon say, you mad over a nigga who don't want you or some like that." heaven repeated as she sat on the bed next to sky.
sky laid on her back and stared at the ceiling. "i heard everything." Sky motioned to the nearby vent.
"oh..." heavyn trialed off.
"i just feel like none of yall know what the fuck i got going on. everybody needa just mind they business when it come to me." Sky said aggressively.
Heavyns eyes widened. Sky literally went from the calmest person in the world to the angriest. The look in her eyes didn't make it any better.
"not me though i'm on your side. i'll always be on your side." heavyn assured. Sky ignored her not having the energy to talk back.
a knock was heard from the other side of her door. heavyn looked over at sky who paid it no mind. Before anybody could say come in" or even get up to open the door saniya let herself in.
"y'all lookin depressed as hell." saniya laughed to herself. sky glanced at her then back at the ceiling.
heavyn and saniya started their own conversation which sky tuned out. "and then rondo asked me to move in with him." saniya told with a smile.
"i'm happy for yall he finally starting to come around." heavyn said excitedly.
Sky blinked away the thought of Von that crossed her mind as she heard the girls talking about their love life's.
"y'all they said we could go the studio with them come on!" Krissy barged into the room.
everybody walked toward the door but sky. "cmon you are not gonna sit in the house like this." krissy pulled her out the bed.
"but i want to." sky whined. "it's not good for your mental health boo." krissy frowned sarcastically.
"we finna leave yall." La peaked his head in the door. "we waiting on sky." saniya told.
"you good?" La looked over at sky. She nodded before walking out the door. the rest of them following behind her.

"𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐘 for keeps, play dat." La told. "It's hot as fuck in here." sky mumbled. "aye bro spitting for real." doodie hyped.
"it's one thing i never did." saniya and doodie rapped to each other. "and dats love a bitch!" they said loudly.
Krissy who sat on La's lap squinted her eyes at him. "it's just for the song." He laughed. "mhm hope so." she rolled he eyes playfully.
La stared at her face as she engaged in a conversation with heavyn and sky. It wasn't one thing he didn't love about Krissy.
La truly believed Krissy was his soulmate, and he knew she felt the same way about him. Everything was so simple when it came to the two of them.
they never argued or even broke up. the love was real and genuine.
"you love me?" La looked up at her. "huh?" she held a confused expression. "do you love me?" La asked again.
"you know i do , do you love me?" krissy laughed a little. La smiled and nodded his head. Krissy also smiled. she grabbed his face and kissed him.
La looked behind him when he seen the studio door open. sky was about to walk out. "where you going?" he wondered.
"i need some air." she told before walking out.
"hold on." La lifted krissy off his lap. he followed behind sky. He seen her walk out the back exit.
that door led the two of them behind the studio and into an alleyway.
He looked around and seen Sky talking to someone. He couldn't tell who it was due to them having a hood on.
Sky opened her purse and pulled out what La recognized to be the same blue pills Boss top introduced them too.
sky exchanged the drugs for some money and slipped it into her pocket.
she turned around finding herself face to face with La. "fuck you scared me." Sky held her chest.
"the fuck is you doing?" La raised his voice a little. "i told you i needed some air." sky repeated.
"stop acting dumb, you selling?" La felt his blood began boiling. "no y-" sky started but was cut off.
"stop fucking lying, what makes you think you can sell shit like this." he reached into her purse and pulled out some of the pills she had stashed.
"La it's no-" sky tried to defend herself but was cut off again when she heard someone shout from behind her.
"aye!" it was the same hooded boy she'd just sold the pills to. La and sky both turned their heads. "you La?" they boy smirked.
La eased his way in front of sky. "who the fuck asking?" La scrunched his eyebrows.
"600k bitch!" he spoke before quickly pulling out his gun. La and Sky couldn't even react before he pulled the trigger.
A bullet flew through the middle of La's head. he immediately fell to the ground faced down.
he then aimed toward sky and let off three shots. hitting her in her lower abdomen shoulder and the last bullet flew through her neck.
she fell on her side. the boy ran off. sky gasped as she felt the hole in her neck.
La was surrounded by a pool of blood while sky leaked blood everywhere.
she crawled over to La and flipped his body over. she cried but couldn't scream due to the hole in her neck.
she grabbed his shirt and shook him as her tears fell into his body. her blood now mixed with his.
she felt her energy draining, she already knew she was dying. she laid flat on her back next to La and stared into the sky.
her eyes blinking slowly. everything around her slowed down. she could see the stars from the night sky moving, she heard the crickets hopping around her and even heard the wind blowing.
this was the most at peace she'd ever been.
Sky accepted her fate. she accepted the fact that she was going to die and that her closest friend her brother was already dead laying next to her.
she blinked for the last time. Skyah had let death consume her.
