Meeting the Stars

"What did you do!" Nick grabbed Lady Mia's collar...oh he doesn't know what his doing...Lady Mia glared at him...She kicked Nick's gut and he fell right into the ground hard
"You do not disrespect A Guardian of Alterria, Thief!" Lady Mia spoke every word with venom... the bandits held their swords and began circling them again
"Hmph!...Thief?.of course what should I expect from someone like you,judging someone without even knowing..well I'm sorry to break your bubble...guardian, But this thief holds your life" Nick countered with an evil glare
"You! All of you are the same.. noble blood?! more like mud blood!!.. all of you nobles are the same, you take advantage on everyone that is lower than you and you!...che! guardians of Alterria my face! you are no different!" By now the bandits started circling them again
"You dare talk to us that way?!" Lady Mia did not stopped glaring at him, she hated him, she hated every bandits, she hated everyone like him
"No, YOU dare talk to us that way?! We have your lives in the blade of our swords!"
"Yah, and we are the ones taking advantage...yah very true" Tara whispered, though because of the silence, everyone heard it..loud and clear
"What?" Tara asked when everyone's eyes turned to her, Tara and Lara are currently sitting on two large rocks and if I must include..calmly.... Tara is playing with a stick, while Lara is looking uninterested
"I agree with her" Lara muttered when silence took over
"Why you-"
"Are you not the one judging people without knowing them?" Tara said turning her attention from the stick to Nick
"are you not the one who have ambushed us to get our gold?"
"Are you not a thief then Sir Nick?"
"Are you not the one threatening our lives if ever we speak of you wrong"
"Are you not talking to yourself then, Nick?" Tara said staring at him
"Why you-"
"We're not insulting you Nick, we're saying the truth, and I hurt to burst your bubble but we don't care if you kill us right here and right now, though I doubt you could do that without losing half of your number, we're not afraid of fighting, why do you think we came here in the first place, in the middle of war....but you should remember..." Tara started mimicking him
"When we die, he and that dies with us" Lara said pointing to the injured man and to the kingdom guarded with high walls
"and if that happens, what for are you fighting then?".... Nick didn't answer, he knows they were right, about him... though he don't believe in prophecy, his country men did...
"Did you really think I believe in prophecy?!" He smirk
"I don't blame you for not believing, cause the truth is, she do not believe either...but unfortunately, it's 2 against a million" Tara answered him back...referring to Lara and to every people who believes to the prophecy
"It's your lose Nick, not ours...you'll be doing us a favor whichever you chose"
"............You are the one who broke the deal!"
"we didn't broke any deal...Alterrians never broke their promises"
"You mean...he's okay" Lady Mia rolled her eyes
"Only one way to find out"
"What do you mean?"
"Well the powder works when the patient-"
"FOR NARNIA!!!" everyone's attention turned to John.... he was now sitting raising his hand...eyes close...then slowly it opens...meeting the weird looks of his comrades
"screams weird things while at sleep" Lady Mia continued....then silence filled the air....it was already dark...the air is getting cold and with the silence...it's getting colder

"Well I guess the powder did work"... then everyone started laughing and lowering their swords...the Bandits then welcomed back their injured comrade...While Nick on the other hand lowered his head until someone taps his shoulder...it was one of the bandits, Jack
"You know you should apologise to her...that's not how you treat a lady Nick" Jack wink at him
Nick just sighed, he know, Jack is right, He know, it was his mistake...but I suppose pride runs through every man, whatever status he might be in....

"You know you should say something to him" Lady Tara suggested
"And why?" Tara sighed at the answer, well pride runs through womanhood too,
"It's getting dark" Prince John sighed joining the ladies
"No, it's already dark" Prince Luke corrected, this is the first time the princesses heard their voices in this trip...so much for being the knight in shining armor
"Woah...you mean your still alive?" Tara asked sarcastically
"Honestly I thought those guys killed all of you....well Its better if they did, at least you have a reason....for not doing a thing" Lady Mia added,..the Lords looked guilty as well as the guardians and the soldiers...they should, they had no reasons not to..all this time they were saved by the princesses they are tasked to protect
"Forgive us your highness" The soldiers bowed
"Forget about it!" Tara shook them off...while Lara sighed and walk away
"Please Excuse me..." She whispered just enough for them to hear...Her comrades look at her as she went nearer to the water...where she is alone...
This day is very tiresome for her...she don't know what to feel, scared, happy, amuse...or suspicious...
Scared of what will happen to them with this bandits ready to kill them any time
Happy that there is another way to get inside Lothian
Amuse that now she knows what happens to a person hit by the arrow she used to shoot
Or suspicious that they are being followed... All this thoughts are running through her mind she thought it was over... All over but she was wrong... It has only just began
"May I disturb you?" a voice stopped Lara from thinking deeper
"Nick?"
"Forgive me with my actions earlier" He said rather shyly
"You know very well I'm not the one you should ask for that"...he sighed
"Is she....angry with me?"
"Who wouldn't?" Lady Lara raised her eyebrow smirking...gaining a glare from the young man
"Thanks for the support" Nick said sarcastically
"Your welcome...now about the deal" Lara continued...She didn't want to forget her true purpose in going here in the first place....She needs to go to Lothian....she needs to,..before her time runs out
"It's in the other side of the forest, it's entrance is well hidden, it was created by rebels before"
"Let me guess...the night isn't helping right?"
"Exactly, It's an underground cave...with rocks and waters and if your lucky friendly crocodiles is on your way...so we really need daylight to go inside"
"So...what you mean is, we saved your Comrade and you give us a 'death way' to go inside"
"You...could put it that way" Lara glared at him...how dare he?!
"what?! you only said a way in!!... and besides there is no other way in, unless you want to dig that pile rocks!" He reasoned, Lara sighed...he's right, she can't do anything...and she hated that...Nick took a sit in some rock near the river...and invited the princess to sit too...gaining a weird look from her
"You do realize your talking to a princess, right?" She look at him
"Your not in Alterria" He pointed out....She sighed yet again...She knows He's right....She sits on a large rock next to him,,..
"I feel.......awkward sitting on here" She blurted out... She did fell awkward sitting on rocks with a dress...and this made Nick chuckled at her
"You mean sitting with a theif" Nick confirmed, He knows exactly what Lara would say...every girl says the same thing whenever he talks about the subject, every girl including the princess...well at least that was what he thinks...Lady Lara stared at him for a while and then turned her attention to the river
"And that too".........................
"...You know your suppose to say that...'that's not it' or 'there's nothing wrong with sitting with me' or something!"
"There's nothing wrong sitting with a thief?" He glared
"I'm not a theif!"
"Your the one who called yourself that"
"but-..."He sighed, he fell on his own trap...this girl is different, weirdly different

"Oh.....he wasn't shot...he was stabbed"
"Stabbed? by an arrow?"

"This nobles...do they have a carriage pulled by four horses and another four horses with four men?"
"......Ye-ah,,,,,," He said unsure
"Oh...continue then"
"......well....we found some men, having an eye on the nobles.." he gulped as Lara's eye turned dark
"They are about to do something when we..stopped them....and then came a fight and John was stabbed and they run away...so i think you know what happened next"

"........Lara?" at the sound of the name Lara turned to face Nick
"What? Your Lara right?...or is the other one Lara....wait what's the name of your twin again?"
Lara stared at him for a second, then chuckled...This man had dared to call her in first name
"...nothing, I have a feeling I know this nobles..."
"uh....ha...ha...well..." He nervously laugh
"...and i have a feeling you know this men" that caught him off-guard
"........hmm...well every.....thief knows who they are....Their rebels, against all kingdoms....I wasn't sure it was them...until the poison....how do you know it was mhnyx anyway?" he put emphasis on the word thief
"......I....know...."
"a..ha........your one of them aren't you?" he stared at the princess the princess stared back blankly.... until Nick cut the silence
"I was just kidding..." he said...confuse at Lara's blank face
"Hey...are you still there?"
"Yah"
"did I say something wrong?"
"no"
"ok"
"Nick?"
"Yah?"
"Why are you a thief?"

"Is there a heartbreaking reason ........or it's just a hobby of yours to take anything not your own"

"Heartbreaking reasons huh?...you could put it that way..... ever since King Alcheon died...Lothian suffered, it's citizen suffered...though it still surviving, it's citizen are dieing...from lack of food...nobles takes advantage...you get the picture...I help them survive"
"what your the legendary Robin Hood or something?"
"That would be an honor"
"of course...will your highness it's getting dark...and if you want to get inside Lothian soon, we need to sleep early...well that is if it's ok for the princess to sleep besides thieves" He said standing
"The real question Sir Robin is, Are the thieves willing to sleep besides mud-blood"
"We'll survive" he said playfully and guided Lara back to where their comrades are making their own tent
While Lara and Nick are talking.... the others figured out they are staying for the night... Lady Mia argued at first but since The princesses agree with it...who is she to insist, right?...Well that was only half of the reason while she agreed to stay the other half is that Nick had asked forgiveness for what he did already.... while all of them are preparing their dinner...it was Tara's turn to be alone... well not completely alone
"You did great back there" Yah go guess...You should know by now Prince Luke has especial feelings to Princess Tara...all this time, he admire the princess way...of being a princess... He never believed that princesses who fights in the books exist until of course he met Tara... though the princess doesn't know it yet
"I know" the Princess smirk
"Your very humble..."
"I know" Luke sighed, this girl is unbelievable
"You like me don't you?"..Yup...totally unbelievable....
"Yup...very humble indeed" He chuckled
"Luke?"
"Yah?"
"What do you think of my sister?"................
".............What do you mean?"
"I mean...the first day you two met....you didn't get along, the second time...was when she was showered with arrows, and the third, well now.....I don't know.... what do you think of her"
"Well she's......elegant...smart....the perfect Lady"
"Unlike me?"
"Unlike you" Tara chuckled
"I like you, your honest!" It's Luke turn to chuckle
"You want me to be honest?...I like you better" that turned on the silence
"..............You...have just broken my trust...your royal highness" Tara said sarcastically getting up..
"Where are you going?"
"to sleep..where else?"
"Your gonna leave me in here?"
"What else?" Tara smirk...she never was the one, who likes this stuff....She never was romantic, one trait that made her different among the most...
The night came in peace...and a comfortable silence took over the new alliance formed between the two parties...the thieves and the mud-blood

As the night ends, the sun rises in peace, birds are chirping, trees are swaying...it was very peaceful indeed...in fact too peaceful.....
Lady Tara fluttered her eyes open...and then there it is, shining right before her eyes, a sharp swords ready to cut her face...
"Get up, Girl" A man wearing an armor, commanded Lady Tara..Perhaps soldiers trying to get inside the kingdom found them sleeping there...perhaps they thought their enemies...spies perhaps?
Whatever reasons they have...They are not scaring the group...they have been through this...
"Oh Come on, this is getting seriously annoying" Lady Tara sighed and muttered, with a blink of her eyes, she kicked the sword away from her face, since she decided to change her dress to something more comfortable for her...and go guess, a man's cloth as the Queen put it... and turns out it was a good idea after all
Knowing there is no turning back now..her comrades started fighting too...including the bandits
It is either the soldiers that caught them are weak or their just good, cause within a couple of minutes, they won
"We need to hurry, the others are coming" Prince John warned....and everyone started running to their horses..Nick lead the way, the group went deeper into the forest...deeper and deeper...until they entered a cave hidden by leaves... That if you didn't know better, you have thought it was large rock... but this is the case..they did know better... as they wen deeper the cave turns out to be a tunnel...and when they reach the end of the tunnel....then came to view...a beautiful paradise... the group stopped in the front of a giant cliff
The princesses got out from their carriage
"What now?" Lady Mia sighed really frustrasted about this trip
"there's a tunnel... and....Only horses could go in"
"So what your saying is, that we have to leave the carriage"
"Yup"
"But what about, our things?...We can't carry all that!!"
"We have to leave it!''
"Yah, we have to leave- I mean what?!!"
"We have to leave it if we want to go in"
"But-"
"Don't worry, your things are totally safe here" Lady Mia glared at Nick...It was not really comforting hearing it from a theif
"What was that?" Lady Lara finally said something
"What was what?"
"There's something behind that rock" Tara confirmed
"Let's go check it out"Dwain suggested.. The guardians went nearer to the rock...and there it is, a man in an armour started running...pathetic... The guardians started chaising the spy
"It's no good, they can't reach him on time" Lara stared at the chaise, she grabbed an arrow from one of the bandits
"Woahh..what are you doing?...that's too far your highness!"
"You do realize that your talking to Lara Arst Le Faye of Alterria don't you?" Tara asked
"Wha-" He was cut off with the sound of arrow flying...and from a far they could see the man fell down
"Woah!"
"Let's go"
Meanwhile the guardians that are suppose to be chaising the spy, carried it's body and hid it behind the trees
"I never liked that princess" Karl muttered
"Intimidating?" Dwain asked
"Very Intimidating!" He confirmed.. they laugh
"How bout you Nerth?"
"Yah, you've been quiet this whole time!"
"Huh?...ah... I think...she's quiet......... intimidating?"
"You'd just repeated the same thing"
"Did I?" They laugh again... and started heading towards the said tunnel

"We're getting nearer!" The light appears bigger and bigger...the horses runned faster and faster...until they reach the end of the tunnel.... people came right before their eyes...horses...soldiers running... and a very large castle
