He brought me to the school rooftop and sat on the bench, looking a little bothered about something.
I sat beside him and studied his face, "What is it you wanna tell me?"
Taehyung, not able to look into my eyes, finally spoke, "Things haven't been going well for us huh."
With that, I knew what he's trying to tell me.
"You... want us to break up?" I asked him in a weak voice.
He looked at me, and then he slightly nodded.
My heart tore and I felt a lump in my throat. Part of me felt like yelling at him, but at the same time I thought it was best to let go.
"Okay," I replied to him and pursed my lips, looking away.
"But, we still can be friends right?" He asked, and I shrugged.
The bell rang, which meant the break time was over. Taehyung sighed and got up, dragging his feet as he walked away from me.
After he left the rooftop, I slouched and buried my face into my hands, weeping bitterly.
My final year in high school infact was hell, including the fact that I had to pretend nothing happened between Taehyung and I.
