◀----------▶

On  a Friday night, in the midst of the crazy party hosted by Beomgyu, Jay was there enjoying and drinking by himself.

It's not that he's a loner, he just wanted to drink but his friends wanted to go feral on the dancefloor.

Suddenly someone came in his zone, "The party's going crazy, right?"

Jay turned to look at him. "Yeah, but why are you here Jake?" Jay asked.

"Oh you know my name?" Jake said as he took a seat beside him.

"Ofcourse, you are pretty popular in the uni.." Jay said as he half shrugged.

"Now this makes me feel bad for not knowing your name" Jake said as he pouted.

"You can call me Jay" Jay said as he smiled.

"I'm gonna make you fall for me, Jay" Jake said as he smirked.

"Are you drunk or something?" Jay asked being completely caught off-guard.

"No I'm not. Why don't we get to know eachother?" Jake said as he drank from his glass seductively.

☆★☆

Oh boy. The small talk turned from telling eachother about their life to ending up on the bed at a pass by hotel.

Jay isn't sure if that was because of the alcohol or Jake's attractiveness but here he is.

Jay woke up first in the morning and realised he's naked. After getting flashbacks he instantly got ready and left.

He spent the whole weekend regretting that he lost his virginity.

☆★☆

As Monday came, he was now sitting in the cafeteria, eating lunch with Sunoo and Sunghoon.

Suddenly, someone called out his name, "Jayyyyy!"

Jake quickly sat and wrapped his arm around his shoulders.

"Hey baby, you left too early that day" Jake said as he pouted.

Sunoo had his mouth wide open. "You're friends with Jake!? Omg since when!??" He squealed.

"Oh no no we aren't friends, he's actually my boyfie" Jake said proudly and a bit too loud, making some students look their way.

"Since when?" Sunghoon said surprised as Sunoo was still processing.

"Since never. I don't what he's saying" Jay said trying to push his arm off his shoulders.

"Awww, don't be like that babe. I thought I made it up to you that night~" Jake said making Jay almost choke.

"Leave before you say something worse" Jay said as he looked away. But he was surprised when Jake grabbed his arm making him stand up.

"Okay then, let's leave" Jake said as he dragged Jay with him.

Jay chose not say anything as the entire cafeteria was watching them and he didn't want to embarrass himself.

☆★☆

Remember how Jake said he'll make Jake fall for him? That was exactly what was happening this whole week.

It isn't that Jay didn't like Jake, he was attractive, but if someone just tries to make you fall for them suddenly. Isn't that weird.

Well, that was what Jake thought at first but after seeing Jake be nice to him, seeing genuine care AND his looks, he couldn't help but fall for him.

♡The Library Encounter♡

Determined to forge a connection, Jake orchestrated a serendipitous encounter in the quiet corners of the library.

"Oh, sorry about that! I was so engrossed in this book, I didn't see you there." Jake said as he purposely bumped into Jay.

"No worries" Jay said.

"Wait. What are you reading?" Jake continued.

And just like that, their conversation about shared literary interests unfolded, creating an unexpected collision of worlds that left Jay both amused and fascinated.

At the end, Jay had a class so he had to go. Just when he told Jake about his departure, he stopped him.

"Wait! I have a question. Do you like me?" Jake asked while grinning.

"Wtf? No" Jay said and left.

♡The Unexpected Coffee Date♡

The next day, Jake sought to deepen their connection with a gesture of quiet warmth.

Jake, holding out a cup of coffee approached Jay, "I thought you might enjoy this. It's from your favorite spot on campus."

Jay,who was a bit surprised: "How did you know?"

Jake, replied with a grin "Just a lucky guess." He then sat infront of him, drinking coffee as well.

As they shared the warmth of the coffee and engaged in genuine conversation, the simplicity of the gesture began to dissolve Jay's initial reservations.

♡The Shared Sunset♡

Jake invited Jay to an enchanting spot to share a quiet sunset. At first, Jay refused but the other kept bugging him so at the end, Jay was here.

Jake said gesturing to the sky "I thought we could enjoy this together."

"It's beautiful." Jay said being captivated by the beauty of the Sun and the clouds.

The shared silence of that moment allowed them to appreciate the quiet magic of each other's company, creating a bond that transcended the ordinary.

♡The Thoughtful Notes♡

In a nod to classic romance, Jake introduced a touch of nostalgia by leaving handwritten notes for Jay.

Jake, handing him a note said "I wrote something for you."

"No" Jay said as soon as he read the note. Jake had wrote, "Do you like me yet?"

Jake left as he pouted but instead of getting annoyed, Jay found that cute.

The Dance Under the Stars♡

On a starlit night, Jake orchestrated a moment of timeless romance.

Jake, extending his hand said,  "Care for a dance?"

"Here? Now?"Jay asked. He didn't know what happened but he wanted to try.

So, with a portable speaker playing their favorite tunes, he led her into an impromptu dance under the open sky. The music, the stars, and the warmth of their connection created a magical ambiance that etched a lasting impression on Jay's heart.

♡The Heartfelt Confession♡

As the week unfolded, Jake found the perfect moment to confess.

Jake asked as he was looking into Jay's eyes  "Do you like me now?"

"Well, maybe a little more than I expected." Jay said as butterflies danced in his stomach.

This time, Jay's "yes" resonated with the warmth of a heart touched by the simplicity of Jake's gestures, confirming that sometimes, it's the thoughtful and heartfelt moments, adorned with dialogue and genuine connection, that lay the foundation for the sweetest of love stories.

But this 'love story' soon took a huge turn.

First, Jay always caught Jake staring at this girl called Maeji. After sometime, he came to realise that she was Jake's ex but he trusted Jake and thought it was just something else, NOT cheating or anything.

Afterall, he was always reassured by Jake's gestures and his pretty smile.

Until one day, Maeji came up to them both when they were hanging out at the school garden.

"Jakeyy oppa, I want you back. I realised that I wasn't happy after leaving, I missed you a lot" She said as she held Jake's hand.

"Excuse me? He's taken now-" Jay got cut off.

"Ofcourse baby, I missed you so much" Jake said as he kissed her cheek.

"What the fuck?" Jay asked as he stood up.

"Oh Jay, I hate to break it up to you but this whole thing between us was just a game. I was never interested in you." Jake said as he hugged her waist.

"You thought you were special? How naive. Jake wanted me back, and you were the pathetic excuse he used." She said as she kissed Jake's neck.

Jay's whole world stopped. How could this be true?

"You played with my feelings?" Jay said being teary eyed.

"Better luck next time sweetheart " Jake said as they both left, leaving Jay alone.

Seated on a bench in the quiet garden, Jay feels the warmth of the evening sun fading into shadows. The soft rustle of leaves and the sweet scent of flowers surround him. But amid this peaceful setting, a storm rages within Jay.

Tears roll down his cheeks as Jake's heartless words replay in his mind. The garden, once a haven of calm, now seems to echo the hurt he can't escape. It's like the flowers and leaves, once lively, are now witnessing the unraveling of Jay's heart.

The memories of shared laughter and stolen glances with Jake feel like a distant dream. The gentle breeze, which used to be soothing, now carries the chill of his betrayal. Jay's heart, once full of hope, now feels as fragile as the petals scattered on the ground.

In the midst of blooming flowers, Jay recalls the moments with Jake – promises made under the shade of a tree, whispered confessions surrounded by blossoms. But now, every bloom seems to taunt him with the illusion of a love that crumbled like fallen petals.

The vibrant colors of the garden, once a backdrop to their budding romance, now mock Jay. He wishes he could turn back time, erase the moments he fell for Jake's charm, and preserve the garden's innocence before it became a witness to his heartbreak.

Amidst the blossoms, Jay yearns for the boy he thought he knew. The sunlight, once comforting, now casts shadows that dance with Jake's deceitful grin. The garden, which once felt like a safe space, now seems like a maze of thorns, each step painful and confusing.

As the garden falls into a hushed lull, Jay hopes for healing rain to wash away the remnants of a love that never took root. The garden, with its simple beauty, becomes a silent companion to his struggle. Jay, alone on the bench, fights back tears, feeling the weight of betrayal in the delicate petals that now fall around him like fragments of shattered dreams.

You may think that he is being too emotional but the pain of being a second option, or more likely, someone using you and then suddenly leaving you is so hard to deal with.

The next day, he sees them together and Maeji was sitting on Jake's lap and feeding him lunch. It was so heartbreaking to witness that.

Not once or twice but he kept on spotting them way too often making Jay feel a insecure.

He was not that friendly person everyone knew, after all, almost the whole school knows about him getting played. He doesn't want to be infront of anyone.

He doesn't talk to any student accept his friend Sunghoon and Ni-ki. The two boys felt bad for him. Their was a totally different person now. The once confident Jay they knew was no longer the same. They despised Jake and Maeji for changing him. They utterly hated them.

But seeing his ex together with Maeji wasn't the only painful thing he had to suffer from, the taunts and the mocks made by various students made him want to just go somewhere where nobody is.

He was betrayed by the boy he loved...
