i sit there, trying to figure out what to tell brady. i honestly feel bad, ever since i felt jealous when he said he had liked brooke,
i had WANTED her to say no. but now, i feel horrible for wanting that. sometimes, i need someone to tell me it's not about me.
"hey, honey." mom says as she enters my room with laundry. "hi, mom." she puts it on my dresser.
"so, i talked to anna (brooke's mom) and she wanted to see if brady could come," i looked up.
"apparently, brooke needs to talk to him 'in person' or whatever" she explains. "okay that's fine. would he get a ride with us?" i ask.
she nods as i go to tell jack to tell brady. "sounds good." she leaves as i shut off my phone.

"so, i heard." brady says, coming into my room. "sorry." i look up at him, he gives me a pity look. "i didn't know." he sighs.
"about carter? yeah, i guess i was just wanting you to not be upset." i sad smiled at him. "thanks. we should get over this."
he says, referring to our rivalry. i give a mischievous grin. "absolutely not. this is fun!" he laughs. "shut the fuck up." he flips me off.
"rude!" i say, ready for it by taylor swift plays. "what's this trash?" he asks. i scoff and look at him. "be so for real." i point to my eras poster.
"who's taylor swift, anyway?" he asks.
