Background:Ryusei's father is kohai of Gowa-ji's grandmaster. He spent his childhood on dojo training Gowa-ji. His dream is to become the next grandmaster of Gowa-ji. Later he departed himself into journey to hone his skill. On the end of his journey he went to mato. There he encountered dozen of shuuki and fought them countless time. During one these battle he was witnessed by mato defense 7th unit. After seeing Ryusei being skilled fighter Kyouka wants Ryusei to join 7th. Kyouka was shocked when Ryusei removed his hooded cape and revealed himself to be a male. But Kyouka was still willing to invite Ryusei to join 7th unit.

Allowing him to coat his body or weapon with life force making coated part several times stronger. At the same time increasing coated part defensive ability
Chi sensing:Variation of chi manipulation. Ryusei is able to predict enemy's next move by sensing the life force of enemy.
Divine wing Mastema: Ryusei's peach's blessing gives him a pair of angel wings granting him ability to fly. The feathers of wings are strong enough to protect him from incoming attacks and yet razor sharp allowing him to shoot his feather as a projectile having enough power to pierce through shuuki's flesh.
Seraph wings:Seraph wing is the trump card of mastema. Coating wings with ethereal like energy that gives wings ability to reflect incoming attack, but with more than double the power. It also give wings more offensive power even strong enough to slash one of Rairen's arm.
