i changed things up and made this a faster tempo than other chapters

the burst of your alarm blasted you awake, the sound scared the hell out of you as you jumped out of bed and instantly started getting ready, you walked over to your bathroom and started brushing your teeth you spent the time multitasking as you also tried to put an outfit together
you chose a white shirt with a white jacket with a nice brown belt and some suit trousers
(one of my favorite outfits Cillian has worn, that's why i chose it)
when you finished getting ready you walked into the main lobby you were met by the rest of the cast with the only people left to wait for was Tim and Jenna, they were most likely having a short meeting as you were told they were the first ones up and ready,
you look around the cast and take notice of their outfit choices
"i'm starting to feel that maybe i overdressed" you joked

"i don't know Y/n every time i see you, you have a great outfit on" she compliments
"yeah, its not overdressing if its your style" Percy says as he slouches in a chair

"its true, but if you look around this room and say who's best dressed it would definitely be you and hunter, you can tell the rest of us prefer to have a casual street looking style" Georgie joked

"well I'm relieved you guys think i have a good sense of style" hunter smiled

"are you kidding me your outfits never miss... you know now that I'm thinking about it. it looks like you and Y/n are matching outfits, only your jacket is more of a cream color and his clothes are from an expensive brand" joy laughs

"i wouldn't say they're that expensive, this outfit would only cost close around $200 if you add everything up" you say fixing your jacket "then again i got these clothes for free from a sponsor"
as you say that everyone just chuckled, you hear a door open "well well well aren't we all dressed fancy this morning" Tim says walking through with Jenna

"your looking good yourself man" you say giving him a handshake which as you do you look behind him to see Jenna staring at you when she realizes you made eye contact with her and the both looked flustered remembering last night and the towel
you took the sight of her outfit in as she smiled at you

"looking good L/n" she says walking past you as the scent of her perfume hit your nose
you shook your head trying to get these thought out of your head, " hey Y/n, did you see you and Jenna are trending on twitter" Percy said you were expecting Jenna to be surprised but she wasn't "yeah it's kinda fun watching all of them trying to figure out and decipher who i hugged in that picture" Jenna said shooting you a chuckle
"I'm pretty sure they figured it out though" hunter laughed
"yeah cause Percy was stirring the pot too much" you said
"hey its not my entirely my fault there was that person who figured it all out" Percy retaliated
"yeah i know" you sighed
"yeah didn't they say that they met you here in new York and they saw that i called you?" Jenna questioned trying to remember what the person said
"yep i thought she was a fan so i had a little conversation with her, well, turns out her job is that she updates on her socials about celebrities" you answered
"so you already knew about this? Jenna" you asked her
"yeah i saw it yesterday i also posted about it, well my manager got me to post about it" she says truthfully
"why did no one tell me" you said throwing your hands up
"we thought you already knew and that it was the reason you were kinda of avoiding Jenna"

TIME PASSES
as you all turned up at the airport through the back to get to the private flights you had gotten a call from you father, "hey guys what time does the flight start?" you aske as Tim answered " 8:30"
"alright i got to take this" you answered the call and walked into a empty room
"hello, dad what's up?" you say
"Hey Y/n i got some good news and some not so good news" he says over the phone
"what's the not so good news" you say partially worried
"you know how i have to take time of work recently" he says slowly
"yeah? is everything ok?" you say now concerned
"Y/n, I...I have cancer" The news hit you like a freight train, the world around you momentarily blurring into nothing. You could hardly process the words as they echoed in your ears.
"Cancer," the word hung heavy in the air, sinking into the pit of your stomach. Your throat tightened, making it difficult to swallow. The mental image of your father, once strong and healthy, now dealing with such a terrible sickness.
The memories flooded back, the moments when you noticed things were off, the instances of your fathers fatigue, and that time you witnessed him coughing up blood. Every incident that you brushed off now flashed vividly in your mind, like a puzzle coming together.
the phone slipped from your fingers, as you sank into a nearby chair, your mind racing. The room echoed with the sounds of your shaky breaths, and you fought back tears, not wanting to break down. The weight of the news pressed against your chest, making it harder to draw in each breath.
"Dad," you managed to say into the phone as you picked it up, "I... I don't know what to say."
"It's not the best news, Y/n. But your mother and i are set on getting through it, I'm going to start treatment, we caught it a bit later then we hoped but doctor's are optimistic."
The reassurance did little to alleviate the heavy ache in your chest.
"Stay strong for me, okay?" your father's voice urged, "i should be saying that for you, I'm leaving for Romania soon and I'm not going to be there with you guys."
"Dad, I... I wish i could be there with you guys," you admitted, "This is going to be a rollercoaster, and I don't want you and mom to be alone."
There was a brief pause on the other end of the line,. "Y/n, I believe in you. You've always been strong. I'll be fine, and cheering you on from home, make us proud ok."
"I will, Dad." you say
"I love you, Y/n. Remember, I'm just a call away. Keep me updated, and we'll celebrate when you get home, now how about the good news?"
"what could the good news be?" you say not caring much for it
"you remember that car you wheeled in from the junkyard, when you were 18"
"you mean the porshe 911? yeah i remember i never got the time to work on it man what happened to that" you reminisced
"i know you loved the thing, i found a bunch of your ideas you had for it in your old room, and lets just say i built it up for you," he said proudly
"no way really?" you started to get excited
"yeah ill sent you a picture both before and after, well i got to go now but i love you Y/n ill be fine"
"I love you too dad stay safe" he hung up
Tim walked into the room "hey y/n flight leaves in 40... are you ok" he says noticing the tears on your face
"no Tim, my father called... he has cancer" you say as he came over and sat next to you
"how are you feeling? you know i can delay the shoot for a-" "ill be fine Tim, he'll be fine, i can do this alright, just a bit unexpected you know?" you cut him off offering him a reassuring tone
"the good to hear, well like i said we have 40 minutes and i was thinking we hadn't had breakfast yet so we can get on the plane anyway and leave early, at least then we can eat on the plane" he offers
"what do the others think?" you ask
"they don't mind leaving earlier" he says as the two of you get up he gives you a small hug as if to show that he understands
"hey Y/n, i was wondering where you went" Georgie called out
"yeah just got some bad news, its okay though my car got finished restoring" you tell him
and out of no where all the guys get up and walk over to you
"what car, can we see?" Percy askes
you show them the car and they congratulate you
"that's sick, where did you get it done?" Georgie says
"actually i was meant to do it when i first got it at 18, but you know i had no time so my dad done it up for me at his shop"
"so, you gonna take me for a spin sometime" Emma says with a playful wink as she and Joy laughed
"looks like a fun ride make that two" joy says
"I'm sorry girls but he's taking me" Percy says as everyone chuckled
"when did i agree to that?" you say
"oh Y/n, it was decided when you showed us the car" Georgie answers
"you too? oh boy" you smiled.
you all boarded the plane it was more spacious that you though it would be well now that you think about it it had to be, the plane was split into 3 parts main cast at the front producers, vfx team, sfx team, the camera crew and all that in the middle and then luggage and equipment in the last part
you sat in your seat as you put your headphones on you tilted your head back getting in a relaxed position pressed play on your playlist and started to look out the window as you saw all the airport staff working and organizing luggage carts, a lady walked down the aisle wheeling a breakfast cart, as you looked at all the options you decided you wanted to eat a salad, you went to pay but Tim said it was on the house, as you got ready to eat you saw in your peripheral someone putting away their carryon luggage in the overhead compartment.
they sat beside you, they tapped your shoulder which caused you to take off your headphones and give them your attention, only to see it was Jenna " you don't mind me sitting here do you?"
"no its fine" you say nicely as you returned to your food ready to eat once again you noticed Jenna staring at you
As you returned to your food, Jenna's defeated sigh caught your attention. "Did the breakfast lady already pass through?" she asked,
"Yeah, she did. Sorry, Jenna," you replied, noticing her interest in the untouched salad. Without a second thought, you offered it to her, "Here, you can have this. I haven't opened it yet, so it's all yours." Holding it out to her as you pulled down the pull out table Infront of her then placing the salad down for her.
Jenna looked at you, clearly shocked by the gesture. "Uh, no, Y/n, I can't. It was my fault I missed my chance to eat. you have it," she insisted but you can tell she really wanted it in fact her stomach rumbled for it,
"its fine Jen, i brushed my teeth not too long ago so it would probably leave a bad taste anyway, you have it"
she didn't hesitate as she took the top off and started digging into the salad, you look back out your window putting your headphones back on and closed your eyes before the flight started, you usually get anxiety on planes so its nothing new, but all of a sudden you felt a gentle warmth on your cheek, a sensation that made you pause as your eyes dart open. Unsure of what just happened, you instinctively touched your cheek with your fingertips, almost questioning if it was real. The warmth lingered, leaving a faint tingle
You turned your head slightly, glancing at Jenna out of the corner of your eye, However, her attention remained fixated on the meal, she was so engrossed in the salad, she seemed oblivious to the moment. you continued to look around your surroundings with the most dumbfounded expression trying to think of what just happened.
mid-bite into the salad Jenna, noticed your innocent look and the perplexed shift in your expression. a soft giggle escaped her lips. The sound broke the silence, and you turned your gaze towards her, meeting her eyes. she looked on with a tear in her eye as she chuckled at your bemusement.
Realizing that you might have appeared a bit lost in your own thoughts, you flashed a sheepish smile. "Lost in your own world there, Y/n?" she continued to giggle
"What's so funny?" you asked, trying to make sense of thing.
"You're adorable when you're puzzled, you know that?" she said eating more of he salad
"I, uh, well, just thought I felt something on my cheek. Must've been my imagination? i don't know."
"Imagination?, huh? that's weird" she smiled at you with a knowing look in her eyes
As Jenna continued to eat, The gentle hum of the plane's engines started, "alright everyone the planes taking off now" Tim calls out from the front
you once again put on your headphones hoping that there will be no more distraction as tunes start playing.
"Whatcha listening to?" she asked, her curiosity evident.
You tilted your head and leaned in with a fake annoyed groan as you pulled out a dual headphone adapter and plugged it in. "Just some random playlist. you have headphone?" asked as she pulled them out of her bag you offered her your phone to plug it into the adapter which She accepted the invitation, slipping her headphone on. A smile tugged at her lips as she bobbed her head slightly to the rhythm.
"i love frank ocean" she says a little too loud which made you smile
