Oh shit-
You mumbled, Feeling your heart beat faster as you practically choked- "The prowler??, the hell is he doing here!?" Was all you can muster in your mind as you now started to feel the cold ground beneath your fingers, The cold rocks pricking at your skin as you stumbled to get up, Wincing at your leg which wasn't helping at all, You fell back on your hands, sitting on the cold ground as you glanced back up, The air lost from your lungs as you heard him speak
"Hm."
That glance he sent had your heart thumping, It wasn't pleasant almost like he said it with disappointment and it was only a sound of emotion. You were cut off again-
"You. You yelled at me huh."
The wind cought in your throat as you stammered to speak, You muster:
YOU: "Y-yeah I thought you were a kid-"
"I ain't."
His voice was low and deep so sharp with an accent you couldn't put your mind on, because The softness of his tone was blocked by the robotic voice changer he might have installed, But still The statement made you More nervous, your throat closed up as her eyes squinted You tried to speak but he goes again.
"Speak up."
"Shit shit shit-"
Your head ringed as you tried to speak, But you used your actions, Quickly getting up as you slightly put your hands up by your lower side, Ready for everything which made him tilt his head at your attempted of alertness..
The awkward silence killed..
You felt your heart get heavy as if you were gonna cry, Feeling the heat in your shirt build up, The cold mixing along to give you the feel of discomfort, At least he didn't tell you to speak up again, But you having the courage to break the silence, Made you crawl
"I-i uhm.."
"I'm sorry."
You blurt out, mind gone blank for a second as you cursed at yourself ETERNALLY from the sheer embarrassment of apologizing to him, And The burning await for his answer felt like forever..
Still waiting..
You felt him. About to open his mouth, About to speak-

"Finish the job?"
You thought in your head, You didn't hear everything but he must have had some tech to hear like a headphone piece and it sounded like another man but before you can even think about it, He took a step forward, And you take one back.. You felt something a gut instinct- and it was correct because-

e swung at her, His silver claw becoming a blur and purple lights blinking fast as You Dunked right in time-
"Agh!"
You shriek at his attack, anything behind you was clawed to shreds, As if it was beheaded, The adrenaline popped back in your veins, As you backed up and hit a side curve to run away, The prowler relentlessly followed as he slashed again, The impact frightened you, and your leg hurt from earlier must have prayed for your down fall because the aching pain split through your head making you wince as you fell to the ground, The cold rocks you felt on your face, pricked at your skin and scratched at the flesh on the top of your forehead near your temple, The pricking blood trickled down as you gasped and winced in much more pain, The prowler by your feet pounced and tried to slash at your face with a quick speed, Your reflexes spurt out, As you kicked his stomach, pumping your legs into his lower gut made him grunt as you launched him over your body onto the ground, He fell on his back his head near yours on the ground as you quickly stammered to your feet You began to run the other direction but The prowler had his come back, He gripped at your hair, the stinging pain made you yelp as you slightly screamed, The burning was soon taken away with the feeling of falling, Your stomach sinked but your head snapped backwards as you gasp being pulled back as you grab the nearest thing, His shirt.. your eyes snapped open, as you glanced into his, The pumping of your heart grew larger, The air from your lungs was snatched as you felt his hand still tugging your hair.
"Look at you.. all beneath me.."
His tone was slurty.. as if it was flirtatious.. but you still couldn't tell from the robotic tone as
He spoke, His hand trailing up your neck to your jaw with that menacing claw, The cold metal on your skin made you slightly gasp again, Taking a shallow breath of air the goosebumps around your skin made you shiver as he pricked your neck.
Now the sharp pain stung at you, Your sense flaring up as you felt the fear, Your heart sinking down as your body went numb, As the sharp end of his claw finger pricked more into your skin, Your legs turned to jelly, The pricking only got harder faster as he pricked through your skin felling the blood run warm down your neck, You started to quietly hyperventilate, You whimpered turning away as your high pitched gasps only enlightened him to hurt you more, As it he enjoyed this, this tourcher, This pain, Your pain.. He trailed the clawed finger more towards your neck, as you practically yelped in pain, He gripped your hair tighter as you felt your knees buckle before you, your ankles intertwining as you tripped down lower, But he held you, your hair feeling as if it could rip at any minute as you shiver, Grabbing the rim of his shirt for balance bringing him closer, His eyes sharpend more the white eyes were like diamond, He looked at you as if it was anger, A low growl came from him, And your eyes snap open as quick as you realize this might be it, The quicker his hand raise with the sharp claw- He's about to-
CORY: "HEY! DON'T MOVE"
His holographic eyes snapped open, As he turned his head and so did you, The relief but yet fear for Cory stroke at the same time, He glanced towards her, The tone shook the outside with vibrations, He slowly started to loose his grip with your hair but that was a bad thing, Because you see his eyes sharpen again, And the cold claw leave your neck you know.. He was trying to attack-
YOU: "Cory!"
Her eyes snapped towards yours as he slightly moved his foot, But you grabbed him again as you raised your arms up trying to hold him down, But he grabbed your hair again pulling it back as he grabbed your shirt, and threw you against the wall, You gasped felling the hit of the wall make you dizzy, The oxygen was snatched from your wind pipe as you felt your stomach twist, and your head ache, The impact made you fall forward on the ground with a thud as you groan in discomfort, You glance up at Cory in fear of the worst, He charges at her and then-
"
FREEZE! "
Your eye along with there's snap open as you looked below the fire escape, The police down as they held there guns up towards the Prowler, He backed up, And groaned hearing the man on the ear piece scream at him to get out of there, He dashed, climbing up the wall as his flipped away without a trace, you felt woozy, your brain was lost as you looked at Cory running towards you in a panic as the police chased after him in the cars.. You glanced up at the foggy sky, the murky purple and blue made you even more tired as you looked back, Feeling other eyes on you..
His.
But.. he left gew gone, And you survived..
TIME SKIP
In the bed you laid, you prayed for recovery that night since you didn't want to go to the hospital, Your back ached and your head felt heavy as you tried to sit up and stay awake, You soon heard the door snap open as you looked at your best friend.
CORY: "Hey, you good?"
YOU: "Yeah.."
You sat up and winced at the pain, As you looked down at your neck, the scar was faint with blood, The scab building on your skin slowly made you sigh and look at the wall.
CORY: "Im sorry what happened to yo-"
YOU: "Are you okay..?"
You cut her off, You felt the worse for your friend even during your circumstances, The fear you felt when he charged at her, your numb body un-able to react as quick when you recalled the memories..
CORY: ".. yeah I.. I'm good..but-"
YOU: "Im sorry.. I shouldn't have been so.. stupid I.. -"
Cory quickly Walked over to you, She sat on your bed as she held you close, You laid on her shoulder as she rubbed your aching back as she shushed you.
CORY: "It's cool, it's cool.. chill.. You okay?"
YOU: "Im okay.."
CORY: "Good.. Im sorry you went through that.."
YOU: "I can't believe he's real.."
There was a silence, But this time it wasn't as awkward.. It was comfort.
YOU: "Thanks Cor.."
CORY: "Of course.. it's okay.."
The sound of the crickets calmed you both, The warmness of the hug soon made the both of you drowsy as you felt her sleeping.. you looked at the blue sky for comfort.. and soon, you were out too.
