Riley's pov:
"I got in" I whispered staring at the lit up screen "I GOT IN" I stood up jumping excitedly
I ran out of the room searching for him
"Hi" I said panting, leaning against the door of his office
"Non chiamare nelle prossime 2 ore, sono a posto?" He ended his call and stood up smiling "Hi to you too my pretty girl"
(Don't call in the next 2 hours am I clear?)
"I got in" I smiled staring up at him
"You got in? In UCLA? Baby I'm so proud of you" he pulled me into his arms "I knew you could do it even with everything that happened, my beautiful smart girl" he kissed my head

Guess not now
"Jazzy how was school?" I crouched down to her height and she hugged my leg
I decided that I want to move to California and stay in LA for good
Jasmine wasn't happy about it at first because she had to leave her school and friends but after two months I think she loves it
And I moved in with my lover
He bought a huge mansion
(Comes with having a shitload of money I guess)
I don't think I've ever felt like I belong as much as now
"Ethy gave me lollipop!" I stifled a laugh
"The little- corn dog ran after he saw me I swear when I catch that teddy bear I will tear him apart" Caleb muttered
The language makes me let out a chuckle
Olive has been catching up on his words and Layla wasn't happy when her daughter started saying fucker a month ago
He spent 2 weeks with us afterwards
"Ethan Blackford was it sweetheart?" Xavier said and Jasmine nodded like 7 times
Poor girl doesn't know he wants to ruin her little friend
"Xavier don't" I warned when I saw him reach for his phone
"With pleasure" he said through gritted teeth
"I know you said I shouldn't go all out...but I did" Layla came into the room with flour covering her face
"God I'm in love with her??" Caleb whispered worriedly
"You shut up" she pointed at him with her spatula "I made 3 cakes, one chocolate, one vanilla and one strawberry, I thought about making one cake but it was very small so I thought why not make 3!"
"Is she crazy?" He whisper yelled
"Caleb Hearst do you want to stay here another 2 weeks!?" She huffed
"No! I'm good! I'll go see where my daughter is" he practically ran out of the room
"Hehe Uncle Caby Scaredy Cat" Jasmine giggled
"That's right baby your uncle is a an annoying scaredy cat, you know he's even gained weight these last few months so he's fat too" she whispered the last part
"I HEARD YOU!" Caleb yelled
"I'M GLAD!" Layla yelled back
Xavier and I gave eachother a concerned look
He pulled me to him and glued me to his side wrapping his arm around my waist "your brilliant cousin got into UCLA layla" he kissed my cheek
I blushed
"What? That's great news!" She tried pulling me out of Xavier's grasp to hug me but he wouldn't budge
"Can I hug her?" She asked sarcastically
"For God's sake go take a shower you're not coming anywhere near her with all that flour covering you I can't have you stain her clothes" he threw her a disgusted look
"Pig" she muttered
"Hey!!" The little kid that we all forgot was still here said
"I'm sorry little bodyguard" Layla playfully rolled her eyes "I'm so proud of you Rhys I'll go take a shower before your boyfriend insults me any further, and please be dressed before 5"
They're throwing me a late birthday party because my birthday came in the midst of moving
"Jazzy would you go change your clothes for me please?" She looked between us then nodded at her brother's words and sprinted out of the room
"Fucking finally" he muttered
"Wha-" I was cut off by his lips crashing onto mine
I sighed in relief against his mouth
His soft lips worked their way against mine and I held a moan in a couple of times
A few minutes later I pushed him back, panting
"God what is this? Don't you need air like humans do?" I asked furiously still panting heavily
"I need you more" he shrugged "April's coming over is that okay?"
"I thought she was distancing herself from all of us after what happened with Antonio"
"Caleb and I have forced her into therapy sessions, I think they're working" I rested my head on his chest
"Why do you think he left this time?" I asked drawing patterns with my finger
"I have no idea it's like he's erased himself from the whole planet I've been trying to track him but to no avail" he kissed my head
"I'm scared Xavier" i looked up at him
"From what's coming, people will be targeting you now, you have way too many enemies"
"Don't worry mio Campanellino no one is going to touch a strand on my hair or yours, I'll be damned before that happens"
"Did you invite my cousins?"
"They invited themselves" he snorted
"Good because I invited Lily, it's time she solves her issues with Jaden"
"I love you so much baby, always making sure everyone's taken care of, my little angel" he sighed giving me a small peck
And that's all It was because Waffle came in barking with Olive hot on his tail
"Great" Xavier said sarcastically

"Riley? Are you done?" Layla yelled knocking at my door loudly
"Almost!" I yelled putting on my diamond earrings
I took one last look at the mirror
I opened the door to be met with Layla's simply blue dress that matched with the little girl in her arms
"You're gorgeous Riley" Layla stared
"Not as gorgeous as you my dear cousin, but honestly Olive Is stealing the whole show"

"I tried matching with her I even told her father to wear blue!" Layla smiled
"I'm happy you found yourself again" I smiled too
"I'm happy we're all together" she sighed "Now enough with the sentimentals let's make these men downstairs drop their jaws" she squealed
"I'm with you on that one cmon" I giggled holding her hand while we walk together towards the stairs and to where the music is coming from
I'm honestly impressed with Layla's baking skills I looked at the cakes earlier and they were beautiful
Hand in hand we walked downstairs to our men
Xavier as usual was talking on his phone but atleast waiting at the end of the stairs
Caleb's eyes widened as soon as he saw his girls
"Xavier dude I think I'm gonna faint" Caleb said somewhat loudly
Xavier ended his phone call and looked up just as we reached the end of the stairs he came forward and narrowed his eyes at Layla "hands off"
Layla rolled her eyes but let go of me while I stifled a giggle "is he always this unbearable"
"Layla sweetheart you look absolutely jaw drpping right now but for the safety of my poor heart please don't ever match with our girl again I don't think I can take it" Layla laughed at her boyfriend
"You're so dramatic" she took his arm and headed to the party room
"I can't even describe how beautiful you look right now, I just want to go back upstairs and devour you my love" I blushed
"Thank you" I mumbled
"Breathtaking" he kissed my forehead and leaned down to kiss my lips
"Lovebirds!" April yelled
"Cmon we want to eat cake" Jaden yelled
"Auntie Ri!" Kevin and Kayla yelled
"I have a meeting!" Jacob yelled
"But sir you told me to cancel all-"
"Shut up Lauren"
"I want cake!" Jasmine yelled
Waffle barked
Xavier and I gave eachother concerned looks
Because this is our life now
Sure it's a little chaotic and definitely not perfect but as long as we're together nothing will stand in our way
